Great doctor, friendly staff, and little wait time. Really like this group.

From the initial phone call with the receptionist staffing, to the end result this procedure everything was flawless. The scheduling/ phone staff were excellent. I literally...waited 1 day for an appointment! All paperwork, expected cost of options for my procedure was communicated clearly, with no pressure. As far as the Oral surgeon, his eittiquet was sincere and discussed current situation and potential future concerns. His experience made me feel comfortable with the decision I made. Perhaps both being a Michigan men and common interest in ???? made me feel like I was in good hands. Sharing his personal exposure to his athletic dental mishap made me feel more comfortable. I wish more health care/ dental affiliates would use this office as an example of how healthy care should run. Kudos to you and your team Dr. Orzel.

You guys are amazing for squeezing me in and helping me get some relief from a nightmare of an infection. Dr. Vanhoose is outstanding, even if our encounter was quick and had me yelling, he went out of his way to fit me in the schedule and take care of me. While I hope to not do this again, if I do I’ll only come here.

Very kind people, easy and even relaxing procedure. I got lucky and felt pretty good after, the care instructions were clear and appreciated. Great experience :)

Dr. Orzel and staff were simply amazing! I have high anxiety with dental procedures and they all put me at ease. From the beautiful smile and helpfulness of the office staff to the funny stories the dental assistant told me while the numbing agent took effect to the quick efficiency of Dr. Orzel, what I thought would be a high anxiety/stressful procedure turned into a very positive experience. I will highly recommend them to anyone needing an oral surgeon!

Positive experience from beginning to end. Front desk is friendly and helpful, nurse was very thorough, Dr. Vanhoose is very personable and professional. Our teenage son needed oral surgery, we were in and out as expected, and he couldn’t believe how easy it was for him. We would highly recommend this office.

Dr Orzel was really was kind and so was his assistant. One of the front office ladies who spoke with us when we were deciding what route we were going to take regarding the surgery was very rude, short, and unprofessional. Very kind and patient with me. I was anxious and frankly a little scared, but everyone was very sweet and patiently explained what was happening every step of the way. Several hours later I'm chilling in bed with absolutely manageable discomfort, binging netflix :)

Staff is companionate and efficient. Dr. Vanhoose is an excellent doctor. I would not go anywhere else for care!

Very quick removal of all 4 wisdom teeth and I felt like I was under for 10 minutes.

Dr. VanHoose was extremely professional and personable. He pulled my son’s wisdom teeth and my son tolerated the procedure very well. He had very little swelling and pain

Dr. Vanhoose and his staff were wonderful. Confident, set proper expectations, and made me feel comfortable. Would choose no other doctor to pull teeth, in fact I’m thinking of having him pull a few more in the fall!

If you choose Dr.Vanhoose, your first interaction will be with the friendly front desk, very helpful and knowledgeable with any questions! And to mention his surgical assistant, very attentive and kind. Dr. Vanhoose took all the non-rushed time, answering my questions, explaining the procedure at length and the confidence that he could help me! I will definitely recommend him and his staff to anyone who is searching for a very competent physician!!

Very personable, explained everything very well. I didn’t feel rushed with all of my questions and he certainly did not make me feel rushed either. The office staff I dealt with were very helpful and friendly.

What a great group of people. They were very personable and explained everything in detail, when it came to how the extraction would be done and very in depth with after care.

Had two bottom wisdom teeth removed. Very professional, courteous and compassionate. If I had any more wisdom teeth that needed to come out, I’d definitely go here.

Being pregnant I was so nervous to have my wisdom tooth and another tooth extracted. Dr Orzel and Grace were so nice and very reassuring in everything they were doing seeing as I was awake the whole time. The front desk and phone staff were very nice and helpful with questions as well. Definitely recommend Dr Orzel and his staff!!

Dr. Vanhoose was great! I haven’t gotten a tooth pulled since I was 11 years old, was a bad experience to say the least, so I was hesitant doing that again! Well, it didn’t even hurt, got the implant and Wow is all I can say! Brad is the best, if your going to go with the implant route, this is the man to see! Such a wonderful office. Dr. VanHoose explained everything perfectly and was so kind.

The staff is friendly, professional and very organized. As for Dr VanHoose he is also all the above, as well very skilled in his procedures. I have needed his services 4 times in the past (all dental implants). I have never had any complications with the procedure or the implants. My oldest implant is about 10 years old and it continues to be straight/strong. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality / performance of all the implants. Had my fifth implant today with the same results.

I received an implant this morning, my experience was extraordinary considering l was a nervous wreck when l arrived. The staff is friendly and very competent. Dr. VanHoose was very personable and confident l was completely comfortable!!

He was wonderful! The other doctors/nurses were very nice. I'd never been out under anesthesia before but they all made me feel comfortable and cared for. They answered all of my questions without any judgement.

Doctor is nice. The receptionist is snobby and rude. Honestly I just wouldn’t come back here because of the office staff. Another office lady later said that the girl who is supposed to verify insurance information ahead of time basically didn’t do that so we came for nothing…. Got work off for the day and had my husband do the same so he could drive me. All for them to say sorry we didn’t check it out before. Just go somewhere else. I’ve never had any issues with my dentist or my daughters orthodontist, just here. So when I get this straightened out I’ll make sure my dentist sends me else where. Doctor is nice. Dr Vanhoose and everyone in the office were all wonderful! They did a great job and made sure I knew exactly what to expect, they make sure you feel very comfortable there! I walked out feeling better than when I went in and the pain from my tooth extraction was so minimal it could be managed without medicine.

My experience at this office was wonderful! I had all four wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. VanHoose. I have low blood pressure due to a heart condition and he contacted my cardiologist to figure out the best methods to use so that I would be stable under sedation. He explained everything that they would be doing and quickly put my mind at rest about the entire operation. I am thankful for how kind the staff was through out the entire experience! We were seen for a consult.. Dr. Vanhoose is excellent. Very kind and caring. His receptionist that greeted us very rudely berated us for being on time instead of early. After the consult, another office staff came in to inform me what insurance would cover, and told me that the 3d x-ray they already took at the beginning of the appointment would NOT be covered and that I now owe them $3750! ?? They should have informed of this BEFORE! I'm on SSI and cannot afford that, so we walked out. The surgeon seemed so excellent that it really is a bummer that his office staff is so horrible at their jobs!

Horrible Experience. Very careless. Left me with permanent nerve damage during his hasty procedure and also forgot to give me pain medication rx. Will never recommend

So incredibly frustrated with this office. We went to a consult in December and have been having our daughter go through multiple procedures and her 3rd set of braces to get her ready for jaw surgery. Now 6 months later she is ready and when I call to make the surgery appointment I am told they are no longer participating with medical insurance. How do you make this decision without telling your current patients? We have been working with this office for months. So disappointed. So incredibly frustrated with this office. Went really well, from what I remember.

Exceptionally compassionate nurse. Extremely knowledgeable and skilled surgeon.

They were all really nice and made me feel calm about my procedure.

Dr. Douglas Orzel DDS Was expert at removing two infected teeth today. He was consistently aware of my needs and assured great customer service. If needed I would go back to Dr Orzel or recommend him highly to others.

I needed a dental implant due to a missing adult tooth, I was extremely anxious but Dr. Vanhoose was very personable and calming. I had absolutely no problems with during or after the procedure. I met with Dr. Doug Orzel for a consultation regarding possible oral surgery. He was so welcoming and pleasant. He explained procedures so thoroughly and clearly and answered all my questions. I needed 7 teeth extracted and I was surprised with how easy they made it. Took less than an hour too for the operation. Even the ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful, took our temperature when we came in, and were very upfront and clear with how much it would cost. What a fantastic experience! I had a tooth extraction done here and every person I came across was incredibly kind. The receptionist made checking in a breeze. I printed and filled out most of the forms ahead of time, which I highly recommend as it saves extra time. I sat down with Dr. Orzel before the procedure where he explained the process and I was able to ask questions. Nurse Bri was fun to talk to while getting prepped for the procedure. They continued talking to me during the procedure and explained what they were doing, which put me at ease. I couldn't believe how quick and painless it was. I even received a follow up call a couple days later because they wanted to make sure I was feeling fine. I appreciated that extra level of care. I would recommend this place to anybody, and if I need any work in the future I will most definitely return! What a fantastic experience! We started a plan 6 months ago with Dr. VanHoose for an upcoming jaw surgery for my daughter. We have paid out of pocket for wisdom teeth extraction and a 3rd set of braces in order to prepare for this surgery. She was cleared by the ortho today and we were told by Dr. VanHoose's office that they no longer accept medical insurance. We will have to start over at square one at another office. So completely disappointed at this decision all due to greed.

Very thorough.

Had a visit with my mom to have her teeth surgically removed. My mom has dementia so you can imagine how challenging that was for her and Dr. VanHoose and his team. They were so good to her. Their cheered her on through the process and even sang to her. Dr. VanHoose took time to explain the process to me before, during and after. I appreciate his humility and the friendly environment. Friendly team. Did a few implants on myself and my wife before. He is quick and explains every step well. Assistants are extremely knowledgeable as well, insurance girls were great explaining what insurance will pay and why.
