Dr. Brett Irish Cunningham

Dr.Cunningham is the absolute worst Dr. I have ever met. He absolutely does not care about his patients whatsoever, he completely disregards patients care or needs. He spends less than five minutes with you and when asked questions his answer was, "I don't know." Do not ever let a loved one see this Dr. I am unsure how an individual can be okay with disregarding his patients needs. Avoid seeing this Dr. at all cost.

I’m a psychiatrist in Colo. I grew up in Okla & attended med school at OU. Recently in OK while a family member was admitted to a psych facility under Dr. Cunningham’s care, Dr. Cunningham completely ignored phone calls from family trying to provide more info. I attempted to reach Dr. Cunningham as a colleague since he ignored the rest of my family. No response! Never in my 30 years of practice have I encountered an MD so reckless or irresponsible. Don’t let him treat you or anyone you love.

Horrible, will not speak to family members about the care of their loved ones, even if power of attorney has been in place. The family is left with no clue of the prognosis or how to cope once the relative has come home. Is this the best that mental health gets? Pathetic.

Horrible experience withheld meds changed meds while at Bethany Behavioral.

He spent five minutes with me and diagnosed me as bipolar.
