Rude, unprofessional, would not biopsy my mole after my recent cancer surgery stating” I looked at it ( 10 seconds) and it is not cancer I have done thousands of these. Your insurance won’t cover it, and many people lie about them to try to get them covered”( situating I was lying)

Condescending little man. Completely dismissed my questions. This appointment was a waste of my time and I will be scheduling elsewhere. He also added information to my chart notes that was untrue and that he hadn’t asked me.

Difficult doctor and very rude. He never listens and talks over people. I waited sooo many times for him but if I was even a few minutes late it was like a a federal Offense. Both my sons had severe acne. All kinds of antibiotics were used. To no avail. He refused to try the Acutane. We finally switched doctors. Our first visit with our New Doctor ... she suggested Acutane. Both the the boys were great candidates for it. They are now 18 and 19 and acne free. I will NEVER go to Schulman again. His Arrogance was a HUGE turn off. He’s very inflexible and rude. NOT a FAN. Difficult doctor and very rude. He never listens and talks over people. Not worth your time.

I had two appointments with Dr. Shulman. On the first one I was brought into the room quite a bit later than my appointment, but then, I was left alone in the room for an hour with the door closed and no staff ever entered or mentioned the doctor was behind or anything, just left alone. I began to get a bit angry. Once the doctor came in and introduced himself, he was rude and it seemed like I was not important to him in the least and no apology for having me wait so long. I realize sometimes things don't always go well and left disappointed but had scheduled another appointment to have a small skin sample taken to be checked on his recommendation. The second visit was the same as the first, an hour alone in the room with no staff letting me know what was going on and the doctor was again rude and quick with me.......the deal breaker was that the staff never even called me to let me know the result of the skin sample. I would never want to see him again and would certainly not recommend him to anyone. I have never had any problems with any other doctor or staff. I had two appointments with Dr. Shulman. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone. They were able to fit us in fast and I see why. Bed side manner was awful. Physical exam was less than 2 minutes and far from thorough. Missed the 2 problem areas completely and I had to point them out to him and then he dismissed it entirely. We will be getting a second opinion seeing how 3 other doctors have expressed a need to be treated by a dermatologist and he refused to treat.

This doctor has zero tact and absolutely no manners. Seriously, see any other doctor besides him and you'll get significantly better care. If you're thinking of becoming a patient here, don't. It will be a total waste of time and money. You get no time to explain what's going on with you to the doctor and are pushed aside under the guise of helpfulness. Forget it. My mother had an appointment to have a tumor on her finger removed. It is very annoying and difficult for her to use her hand. On the day of surgery I stopped Dr Shulman because he did not notice a allergy listed in her chart to the numbing agent. He wanted to send her to an allergist for proof of this allergy, my mother is 75 and has had this allergy her entire life, I do not think she needs to go to an allergist now. I refused and instead gave him the name of a different numbing agent he could use. He ordered the Nesocaine and another appointment was set. Yesterday I received a phone call that he now wanted my mother to go to a plastic surgeon to have the surgery. So, after a month of wasting time, she is now back to square one with a different doctor and a hand she cannot use. If I hadn't pointed out her allergy to him the day of surgery he would have done this procedure already. If I could give him no stars I would.
