Great kid doctor! Love the staff. Tell you exactly what going on and if you have question will answer without a doubt.

Dr. Childers is an amazing pediatrician (which is the only reason this is 3 stars instead of 1) but we moved to Valdosta and within the past few months it’s taken 2 hour plus to be seen when you make and appointment and I didn’t want to have to drive an hour and wait another 2 hours for my daughter to be seen for a few minutes. Her new pediatrician sent the medical release form on December 3rd and whoever it is that runs that department didn’t let me or her new pediatrician know that it was misplaced despite being called numerous times over the nearly TWO MONTHS we were waiting for them to be sent. It wasn’t brought to my attention until January 19th and I had a new form sent over that day and it still took another two days for them to finally be sent on January 21st. This was apparently due to the lady that handles the records being “sick” even though I highly doubt she was sick for nearly two months straight. Bare in mind my daughter has a very serious medical condition. It came off as them just being petty, extremely unprofessional, and like the staff just straight up don’t care about your child’s health. It definitely isn’t a good look unfortunately for Dr. Childers. We have also been given misinformation before regarding my daughters medical diagnosis by the staff as well when she was a baby ( at the time Dr. Childers was appalled by this which is what made us stay.) He is a wonderful pediatrician and I really wish we could have stayed at his practice, but unfortunately his staff needs major work. I also think that they may have too many patients and have bitten off more than they can chew. If you’re okay with having an amazing pediatrician, but at the cost of having to wait hours upon hours to be seen and dealing with mediocre and rude staff, by all means take your children here, but for us I personally wouldn’t recommend going here. It’s such a shame because genuinely Dr. Childers is absolutely incredible. The cost is just too high for me. horrible doctor. always repeats the same diagnosis, is hardly there anymore, and you get left on hold for longer than you should be. if you pay attention in the office they ignore the phone, and i’ve even called them while i was in the office and still no answer. definitely do NOT recommend.

Would not recommend. Waited almost two hours to see the Doctor and staff is very rude. Looking for different doctor.

Been trying to get through to office for days never answer the phone sit on hold 30 mins or more

Dr Childers is the best doctor hands down! I've used him for my kids for 10 years now, an he never disappoints! Hes the most caring doctor you'll find around here for sure!

By rushing through patients, he misdiagnosed my daughters symptoms 3 times, now we’re at the surgeon scheduling an appointment to get staph cut out when he repeatedly told us it was only a diaper rash. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. NEW PARENTS, steer away from this monster! Needs his license revoked!!!! He has way to many patients and he rushes through to see everyone. Love the nurses very friendly environment! Best pediatrician ever Dr. Childers thanks for taking such great care of my most precious possession

He has been the best pediatrician I've found in the area, hands down! I have even had times where the emergency room has no idea, but he can tell what's wrong within moments. Highly recommend him and all his staff!

Dr. Childers has a great bedside manner. My 2 girls love to go see him! My youngest is 7 years old and has to have allergy 2 shots every week, and she actually likes to go!
