This person is a liar and a fraud. You should stay well away from him or anyone associated with him.

Mean doctor. Told my boyfriend he wouldn’t graduate college. And took away his phone privileges! Oh and be careful not to speak, because he probably will not like your tone, and have you injected with Thorazine. It really is quite frightening the number of injections he orders, while not really knowing a single thing about any of the patients in his psych ward. All because the doctor has a fragile ego ???? BTW he graduated

Hyatt over here has basically gaslit people who accuse him of all sorts of things, including in these reviews in response to criticism. To be honest, I've been and currently am still a patient at their clinic, although I rarely if ever see the guy since he's just a name for medicine and not really interactive. Most businesses are starting to refuse service if his name shows up. This would be because he's currently being charged with insurance fraud and a slew of horrific malpractice charges. He's even stepped down as chairman. Let that be a good example of what this guy is all about.

My partner is being kept in treatment against her will after a voluntary evaluation because of this crooked dr. She no longer wants his medical help and has requested a transfer to another facility and they refuse. It's very very obvious that this is a money making scheme, if it wasn't this wouldn't be an issue. My partner no longer trusts the mental health system in nw arkansas because of this man. She has already stated if her mental health fails again she would rather live on the streets broken(again) than risk being held there and treated like an inmate. She was afraid to ask the staff when she could leave because she was afraid to get into trouble, nobody should fear getting into trouble when they are seeking help, this facility does not create a safe nurturing atmosphere, they treat the people in there like problems not patients. There is a room in the Springdale facility with electroshock devices, a table to strap patients onto and no cameras. .. need I say more Edit: she was released after 14 days and was a very different person, she just had communication and anger issues before, she came out acting crazy. She keeps disassociating and having horrible anxiety at every little situation. When she tried to get her prescriptions from this facility filled the dr denied them when the pharmacy contacted them. She was checked into another facility 9 days later. She was told she was improperly medicated. visited this office for almost 15 months. At my first visit, I saw DR Hyatt and then they continuously rotated me between their nurses and unfortunately, they treated me as a $$$ since they never listened well to me, and all they were doing just asking me if I like to stay on the same medicine or not rather than listening to me and analyzing the prons and cons for each medicine. Strongly not recomanded

This doctor doesn’t listen to patient input, insists upon incorrect diagnoses, prescribes inadequate treatment based upon said incorrect diagnosis, and then dismisses religious and cultural beliefs in favor of assimilation into the majority beliefs in society. I was prescribed ADD medication from Dr. Hyatt when I was clinically diagnosed with ADD the summer before my junior year of college. The medicine made me really paranoid and delusional, and I was eventually referred to Holy Snipe where she prescribed me two anxiety medications and a OCD medication when my brain wasn't working. The story gets worse because they then referred me to Bryan Jones (counselor) where he told me my mother was a narcissist and I should cut ties from my family. My father had to hire attorneys to gain legal guardianship of me because my state had declined so much, and Bryan Jones spent counseling sessions with me to look at attorneys instead of communicating with my father. My brain was not working properly from the multiple medications, so I believed him. The most unprofessional practice I have ever interacted with in my entire life where they continued to drug me to then have a follow up appointment in a month. My father gained legal guardianship of me where I spent time at two separate mental hospital where I was taken off of medications from Pinnacle. They refused to give my father medical paperwork as he had guardianship of me. I was beyond delusional and I was in a state of stimulant induced psychosis from the ADD medication being prescribed. I experienced an immense amount of trauma (arrested twice by my father to be put in a mental hospital, spending time at a mental hospital, living out of a hotel by myself) from this medical practice. I was so delusional that I thought my fraternity was out to harm me, and I thought people were hacking my computer that I filed reports with Fayetteville Police Department. I am thankful for my fraternity as they knew it was not me, but the failure of a medical practice of Pinnacle Premier Psychiatry. The University eventually had to get involved where I was almost kicked out of the University of Arkansas from things I said and did while under the influence of these medications. In the aftermath of this mess I lost a girlfriend that I loved, broken and hurting family relationships, positive reputation, fraternity brothers who I hurt under the influence of this medication, and a very broken and beat up person. I love my family so much more because of Pinnacle Premier Psychiatry and I have more empathy for people who go through difficult times. I have gained a strength I did not know possible from this experience, but I ultimately am hurting for my friends that I hurt when my brain wasn’t working properly. I hope you learn from this lesson so nobody else has to walk through all that you put me through - I forgive you, but I think about what my life could have been if I never met Brian Hyatt MD, Holly Snipe PMHNP, Bryan Jones LPC. I could continue to write but ultimately that is bitterness in my heart - James 1 suffering that made me love Jesus. I have all of the medical and legal work in my possession that would be enough for a medical malpractice case, but it would be far to painful to relive this experience that hurt my family. From my experiences at the Behavorial Health Unit at Northwest medical center, I cannot recommend Dr. Hyatt. While there almost every day, he never actually spoke to me. Didn’t give his medical opinion and diagnosis...and kept me on a very basic antidepressant and antipsychotic. He also gave out injections like candy. He won’t actually speak to any of the patients, and allows 30-40 patients in the unit at a time to rack in the profits. For good psychiatric care I would recommend UAMS in Little Rock. I would recommend Dr. Hyatt and the providers that are a part of his team, both inpatient and outpatient. I met several of them while inpatient and they all were working together, and now that I follow up outpatient at the clinic, the staff there is very professional and allow my experience each time to be comforting.

Knowledgeable doctor; took the time to explain my diagnosis and the treatment approaches available.

Excellent doctor. Both inpatient and outpatient experiences being treated by Dr. Hyatt have been good. I would recommend seeking help if you are dealing with any mental health disorders.

Dr. Hyatt and his staff are truly awesome. Their office is very friendly, relaxed and welcoming...snacks, drinks, magazines, and great people available if you need anything, although I rarely have had to wait long. The staff is approachable and happy to answer questions, and Dr. Hyatt himself is as cool as they come. His office doesn't look like the traditional office, there are even old school arcade games to play, if that is your thing. He doesn't wear the traditional white doctors coat, he puts his own style and flair on everything, which seems not at all forced or over the top, is still professional and well put together. He doesn't make you feel rushed, he listens, gives good advice, treats you with respect and genuinely wants you to be happy (not just with your experience with him/his office but in life). I would strongly recommend anyone to schedule an appointment with him. If I had a teenager I wanted to take somewhere, it would be an easy decision to come here. This is the best clinic with wonderful staff. Dr. Hyatt is the first psychiatrist to listen to me about my concerns that while seeing other providers have ignored and felt that no help was needed. NWA needed this clinic. I would recommend to all my family and friends.

Dr. Hyatt and his clinic and staff are the best in NWA. Would recommend any provider as well as therapist at this clinic!!! Easy to schedule, make every attempt to see patients within short notice, listen to my concerns.

Dr. Hyatt does not have an adequate plan in place for patients when he is out of the office or during non-business hours or when your prescription is written wrong. I felt his lack of eye contact and lack of concern very impersonal. I did not feel valued or listened to. When he wrote me a letter to discontinue treating me, he had zero advice or referrals for me in regards to what I should do next.

Dr Hyatt had my son stop an antidepressant without weaning or tappering and put him on something new. Going off the SSRI cold turkey was the worst thing that could have happened to my son and it was terrible for a few weeks. I consulted with several other psychiatrists and physicians and they all agree that that was dangerous and not good practice.
