I have been a patient of Dr Lipman for the last 6 years. 5 stars is not enough for him and his staff. Dr Lipman has gone above and beyond just treating my chronic condition; he has helped in my over all health. The man worked 100 hour weeks during covid and still took care of his patients. Amazing. And, his staff!!! Anyone living in the Vegas valley knows that getting appointments in a timely manner is a nightmare. I was an airline pilot with a wacky schedule and was never able to book appointments months in advance, yet his staff always found a way to accommodate me. Thank you Dr. Lipman, you're the best!!!! Dr. Lipman is amazing but almost never in the office. His Nurse practitioner Stephanie has no human compassion at all. She shouldn’t be in this line of work.

Review for employer - just a warning if you are looking at this office for employment. My wife worked there for approx 7-8 months before parting ways last week. She was in a car accident which totaled her car on a Saturday morning. She ended up in urgent care on Sunday due to a foot injury and was given a note to be off here feet for 3 days. Upon notifying the Doctors wife (which is who we think runs the crazy office) there was no response. I would have expected an employer at minimum to have asked if she was ok. During these 3 days off my wife decided she was going to quit based on this reaction to her accident and the last 7 months of working in this very toxic/negative office environment. Before she could finalize her resignation letter on Thursday she received an email from the doctors lawyer letting her know that her services were no longer needed. The doctor and his crazy wife would like you to believe that they care about their employees but don't let that fool you. They care about one thing and that is their pocket book. If you are considering employment in this office please ask to speak with other employees and ask them to tell you the truth. 90% or more of the employees in this office are currently looking for new jobs. Dr. Lipman saw me in the hospital and for follow-up visits. He went above and beyond to help me. Doctors everywhere spent a year trying to figure out what was wrong and Dr. Lipman referred me to National Jewish Health in Denver CO for my lung disease which saved my life. I am very grateful for the care and help he gave me.

Dr Brian Lipman literally saved my life in 2012! I contracted overlapping Cellulitis, Sepsis and C-Diff Colitis following a Total Knee Replacement. Following the surgery, the Hospitalist disregarded my complaints. (I received a letter of apology from the hospital). Dr. Lipman was eventually called as a Consult. Dr. Lipman took me on as a patient and continued seeing me at his office until I was fully recovered. Dr Lipman is E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T with diagnosing and treating Infectious Diseases! There were also quick answers to my questions, a great staff and minimal office waiting with appointments.

Dr Lipman's staff that continued my antibiotic infusion treatment were very good. Office staff were pleasant. However, follow-up appointments with the doctor was quite an ordeal. Dr. Lipman told me to see him in 2 weeks; his office staff said he notated 4 weeks. The date scheduled for me was 5 weeks. This conflicted with a previously made commitment. I was told that the doctor had no other appointments for the remainder of the month. His schedule was made by his wife and she had full authority over his calendar, and schedule for the following month was not created until last minute ute. Although I was pleased with treatment from Dr Lipman, I would not recommend him as a result of difficulty in making follow-up appointments and lack of flexibility in schedule. Well I was trying to get into see Dr. Lip man however I will not recommend any to see this office as his scheduler is rude. She has to have documentation in hand before being seen and when asked if I could hold I was hung up on. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE UNLESS YOU LIKE HAVING OFFICE WORKERS BEING RUDE TO YA AND HANGING UP ON YOU.

I made an appointment with this doctor and the earliest appt. was in two months, which ended up being the end of June. I got a phone call from the doc office and they said the doctor will be on vacation. 2 months? First of all, why did they make the first appt? Is there a doctor that takes a two month vacation? They rescheduled my appointment to August! I called and canceled and made an appointment with a different doctor and will see him at the beginning of July. I really don't like the BS at some doctors, and unfortunately my doctor likes this guy. Fortunately, my primary doctor referred me to a different doctor that he also likes, and with positive comments from patients. Dr. Lipman took time, explained what was going to be done, What my follow up would be and got me well in spite of another Dr. that was going to release me after one IV of antibiotics which turned out to be the wrong antibiotic for what I had. Dr. Lipman came in to have a look, ordered some tests and blood work. Turned out I had a Staph. Infection and spent the next three days in the hospital and ten days every morning in his office weekends included, where antibiotics were administered by one of his nurses and a dose every night at home. I have great respect for what he did for me and my road back to being healthy again. *UPDATED*I was transported to St. Rose Siena from their sister hospital De Lima, when I was admitted it was made VERY clear I did not have insurance and was going to be applying for Medicaid services.I tried to have my older sisters correspond with my Drs via phone which I had filled out the documents saying they could have my info, getting Dr. Lipman to talk to anyone minus my groggy self was like juicing rocks, on the last night that I stayed he came into the room and I explained my sister's would like a chance to speak with him it was well past midnight and I couldn't call them at that hour, he said I would be released the following day and that he was making his rounds early and I wouldn't be released till after 5 pm and that he would make his rounds by 4 pm, I also explained that I was experiencing sever pain in my legs, he scheduled me a CT scan for guess what time? 4pm the next day I saw him briefly in the hallway and he said he'd see me in his office and that he would talk to my sister's then, and to tell his office I was referred by the hospital and they'd "get me in right away" however my paper work stated follow up in 2 weeks, so I called to make my appointment they tried to give me an appointment 6 weeks out when I explained the severity of my hospital stay and my illness the lady on the line tried to tell me that was the best she could do, so I told her I needed to speak with the office manager she said okay and put me on hold for 15 mins came back on to the line and gave me an appointment date for 3 weeks out, that was more doable, but when I said I'd still like to speak with the office manager she said she'd have her call me back and hung up, I didn't receive a phone call until she called to confirm my appointment and I luckily got her she had no notes to call me and I again explained that my Medicaid was pending and asked if that was okay I was rushed off the phone call and never got an answer. My appointment comes and I go in with the full intention of getting the remainder of my test results, explained to the clerk yet again that I was Medicaid pending, to be told the billing department won't allow me to see the Dr without my insurance processed or i had to pay $200. Fast forward, yesterday marks a month and a half since my hospital stay, my Medicaid has finally been approved so I call to reschedule my appointment.... she tries to give me an appointment 3 months out, still trying to keep my cool I explain my situation yet again, she goes and talks to the manager and gives me a date for next month, I'll take it, I get off the phone and she calls me back to get my insurance information: now keep in mind, I have now told the Doctor himself, his office manager/assistant, and his desk clerk that I have been Medicaid pending so why am I bow being told a month and a half later that his office does not accept Medicaid. I went batshit crazy and lost my marbles, I hung up because I was so upset, the manager then calls me back gives me a number to another infectious disease specialist, I explain how I don't understand why this was never said after countless times I told everyone I was Medicaid pending, she had the nerve to say well you canceled your last appointment or we would have told you then, I then explained to her that in fact I was in that office and told the clerk I was Medicaid pending (I didn't say it that nicely) so she gives me the number for an infectious disease specialist who does take Medicaid and we get off the phone, the other office was closed, I called today they need a referral from Dr lipmans office, but they won't send a referral because I wasn't seen in the office so the hospital has to send the referral. Update*** Dr. Lipman, Called me personally apologized for all the drama I dealt with. I commend him for taking the time to personally contact me and make things right, we need more Drs like him in the industry! *UPDATED*I was transported to St. Rose Siena from their sister hospital De Lima, when I was admitted it was made VERY clear I did not have insurance and was going to be applying for Medicaid services.I tried to have my older sisters … More

Dr lipman is good but always busy and constant rescheduling of appointments. The office staff is horrible, rude, unprofessional, non helpful. This is the worst office staff in Nevada. They never gave my prescription to me after doctor ordered it for me. I had to get medication from my primary! Doctor.

Dr. Lipman is one of the best, friendliest and caring Doctor that I have in the Las Vegas area. His staff is also wonderful. The most important thing for me is a return phone call to either me or a pharmacy when there is a question on a refill. Many Doctor take hours to days, when every call is of urgency. Thank God for him and I hope he is around for a long time!

Excellent doctor with a very caring attitude towards his patients. He listens intently to the patient before making any diagnosis determination .... treats patient with respect and concern. I was admitted into St. Rose Hospital's Siena campus on Monday evening, and given a lumbar puncture called by an ER doctor, then introduced to Dr. Lipman that night. Dr. Lipman did not order my LP. I was told that my WBC count was very high and I would stay in the hospital until they came down, and we located the infection causing the spike. I was given IV antibiotics Monday evening. Tuesday morning, I met with a doctor that was to partner with Dr. Lipman, as he is a specialist. She told me that he would be seeing me later on in the day, and she was going to take her cues from him in regard to me returning home. On Tuesday, I spent the day laying around in the hospital with little to no tangible care or advances in my case. Nobody came around to draw my blood. No sign of a doctor. Just back pain from my LP, and apple juice service. I asked my nurse when I'd be seeing Dr. Lipman that afternoon, and she said, "Well, he typically makes his rounds in the evening, and we are usually the last floor he visits. He'll be here until about midnight". Midnight came and went, and I was not seen, nor did I hear from Dr. Lipman this day. I was woken up Wednesday morning by the same woman who met with me the morning before. I HAD TO TELL HER that Dr. Lipman did not see me the day before. She had no news. Nothing for me. Listened to my lungs and left without any promises. A spinal headache took over, and I was feeling AWFUL. The charge nurse was being very attentive, and told me that my symptoms were normal, and that there was something called a "blood patch" that could help. That afternoon, Dr. Lipman came by. He let me know that my body was responding to the antibiotics, and my WBCs had come down, and that he would order me a caffeine benzoate treatment to "CURE" my spinal headaches. When I asked about a blood patch, he said they were "old school". Okay. I was on board. He is a doctor. I trusted him. I asked him what the side effects were. He said, jokingly, "It will be like you had a Starbucks!". He also apologized for not seeing me the day before. He said by the time he put in his notes for Monday's encounter, it was technically Tuesday, so his team was under the impression I'd been seen that day. This made me angry. We all live on this earth. We all know what time it is. Whoever dropped this ball cost me a full 24 hours of life in the hospital, and that's a bullshit excuse. Use a timestamp. Get it together. I go through with the IV caffeine treatment Wednesday night. I experienced side effects that he did not prepare me for. None of which were life-threatening, granted. However, my nurses were not prepared. One even told me she'd never experienced this treatment before. That's not the Dr.'s fault; sure. SO, Thursday afternoon comes around and I no longer have the spinal headache, and my WBCs were down to normal! Great!! Dr. Lipman came by one last time to evaluate me for discharge. I mentioned my side effects from the caffeine treatment, and he was very quick to interrupt and VERY pretentiously say, "Well, do you have a headache? Don't underestimate it". He handed me a card and said if I get home and experience any of the same symptoms to give him a call and let him team know that I was hospital follow-up so I could be seen "RIGHT AWAY". Dr. Lipman was so confident in his caffeine treatment, that he did not send me home with any pain relieving medications. Two hours after I got home, a crippling headache re-emerged. I took some old Norco I had laying around, and was able to sleep after Googling my symptoms and seeing that the "Hallmark cure" for spinal headache is to LAY FLAT. Nobody told me this in the hospital. Not a Doctor. Not a nurse. Friday, I am unable to keep food or medication down due to the headache. We give Dr. Lipman's office a call at 10:25am. At 4:15pm, his assistant calls back to let me know that I am not technically his patient, and that I will have to "take it up" with the doctor who ordered my lumbar puncture, but did grant me with a prescription. I did not feel cared for as Dr. Lipman as my doctor. I was admitted into St. Rose Hospital's Siena campus on Monday evening, and given a lumbar puncture called by an ER doctor, then introduced to Dr. Lipman that night. Dr. Lipman is wonderful - been seeing him for years - however, his office staff is horrible. No one ever answers the telephone if you call his office - you have to leave voice mails, or messages with their answering service. They do not return calls in any manner that resembles "timely", or never return calls at all claiming they did not receive the voice mail. Staff needs better "customer service" training.

Great practitioner of medicine. It is apparent that Dr. Lipman knows the conditions that he treats very well, and knows his treatment options. I like that he is confident in his practice of medicine and is willing to be aggressive with his patients conditions if need be. I don't share many of the same concerns as other reviewers as I understand each patient is different, a physicians staff is not a reflection of himself, & I understand that scheduling times do not always go as planned--Its life.

The staff are the worst! I was a first-time patient and waited three weeks for my appointment. Meanwhile my doctor sent a referral to his office. However when I showed up I was told that my appointment was canceled and that I needed to come back next week because they didn't have any paperwork from my primary doctor which is a lie. I said I could call my primary doctor now and have them send over papers immediately, to which she replied that he was also just too busy with other patients at the hospital right now to see me! When I told her I wanted to see him tomorrow she said that would be fine and she would call me in the afternoon to tell me the new appointment. But she never called. Don't bother. Dr Lipman has NO bedside manners and shouldn't be allowed to consult with the public. He was argumentative, interrupted when we spoke, extremely defense, suggested we said things which we hadn't then said perception is reality and that's my perception. He said the case was complicated yet was not able to articulate the issues where the average person may better understand the problem. At one point he questioned my family status and said he didn't believe me. Horrible man!

I was seen soon after arriving for my appointment, and had little to no wait to see the doctor. Dr. Lipman was very professional and took the time to listen to my health concerns and seemed genuinely concerned and took his time with me and didn't seem rushed like so many other doctors do. My experience from check-in to seeing the doctor and then checking-out was a nice experience, especially with his staff knowing what they needed to do next.
