Dr. Iqbal has been great, managing my thyroid and parathyroid issues very well. Saved me from parathyroid surgery with prescription medication. Highly recommend.

Dr Iqbal himself was nice and knowledgeable, but after two years of their office staff screwing up my billing (ie I went in and they said I owed them some money that they never told me about since then; they billed my incorrect/old insurance; they sent my wrong insurance to Quest resulting in quest thinking I owed THEM money, requesting the wrong co-pay), I left. I’ve never experienced such an incompetent billing staff-ever. I’m still convinced I paid for something I’d already paid for, but I wasn’t going to go find that credit card charge from a year ago. Do not recommend.

Dr. Igbal is AMAZING! The front office staff is pathetic and has no idea what they are doing. The receptionist that checks you in does not know insurance. She says that we have to pay a copay for a specialist - our insurance does not have copays. Have the EOB to prove it. As for her phone etiquette - I would fire her immediately. At this moment, Dec 29, 2021, Solara Diabetic Supply and I have been having no compassion or response from the doctor's office. My wife needs a new script and doctor's clinical notes to renew her supply of diabetic sensors. The front office staff (3 employees) will not respond to Solara's request for the informations. A week ago we had to actually make an appointment to see the doctor so he could give us a paper script. We then emailed it to Solara but low and behold, the doctor's NPI number was missing. Solara faxed the doctor's office for the additional information, with no result. Three separate requests were made on three different days and nothing happened. We were told by Dr Iqbal that he was SHORT STAFFED so any new scripts could not be called into the pharmacies. All of his patients must call in their own scripts. What tol do....we cannot select a different Endocrinologist now because we have to start from the beginning with a new doctor. We are at the mercy of the doctor's office to assist my wife in getting her new sensors. Dr Iqbal is thorough and a conservative health care provider; takes as much time as needed to explain in layman terms - great analogies - and answer questions. His staff is polite and helpful.

An outstanding doctor with a wonderful staff. I highly recommend Dr. Iqbal. He is skilled, through, professional and spends the time to answer any questions you have. 5 stars for sure!

Worst medical office we have ever experienced. The staff is rude and overwhelmed. Was told we needed to pay our deductible in addition to the co-pay. We called the insurance company and they told us this is not a normal practice and were not sure how a office would know how much deductible was due before the appointment before services were rendered. Tired to explain this to the staff they point blank told us, we need to pay all deductible and co-pay to them or the doctor would not see us. We had visited the same doctor in the past and only paid the co-pay so we were totally confused why we need to pay this also now. Would not tell us their names or how they arrived at the amount due. Worst doctor and staff we have ever seen. Doctor has a very strong accent and is very hard to understand, however, he would not take time to explain what he means. Ordered a battery of tests but would not explain the results. Would not take time to explain charges or reasons. Staff just insisted that we pay the co-pay plus deductible in advance, however, our insurance told us that is not a proper procedure and no way to know how much the deductible portion would be. Seems their main concern is on the money and not on the welfare of patients. What ever happened to the Hippocratic oath? Seems to not apply to this practice.

I really like Dr Iqbal, but unfortunately due to his horribly disorganized & unprofessional staff at front desk, I will not be going back to this office.

I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THIS GUY 1 * This was the worst visit ever ... do not use this endocrinologist !!! We brought our 19 year daughter in for her 10:30 appointment . So I went to this drs office yesterday I got there early and first off they have really bad reviews on here about the office staff so I was hesitant to go here. I was like well I’ll give it a chance a lot of times you only hear about the bad stuff online. It’s sad to say the reviews are really accurate. When getting to the office I sat down ready with my id insurance and all info. The lady at the front is about to hand me my paper work to fill out and asks me if I have my medical history I advised no(no one ever told me I needed it) I had my drs info so they could request it. When telling her no she literally huffed and threw my paper work down and started to looking at the computer. She did this in front of everyone and then proceeds to ask me if I can call my dr and have them fax it over right now. Drs offices don’t do that with short notice and I explained that. I am adult and if you had told me when I called and made the appointment or when you called to confirm my appointment I would have. She said the dr would not see me without it. I really liked Dr Iqbal, however I will no longer be a patient of his practice due to the unprofessional, incompetent, and rude staff that he employs. I was prescribed a medication back in April, that required prior auth by his office & my insurance co. I left more messages than I can count dor them to please start the prior auth process and never received a return call and here it is June. Such a shame that a patient has to wait and wait due to scheduler and front office staff not making my appointment/s correctly. When the medical assistant finally calls me, after 2 failed telemed appointments, that I sat around waiting for, she is more concerned with collecting a deductible and copay than addressing the fact that they blew off my telemedicine appointments TWICE and that I have been worried about my abnormal lab results & awaiting Dr Iqbal's interpretation of them. Would give ZERO stars, highly do not recommend.

Went to an appointment on a Thursday paid my $40 copay and was prescribed a Libre. Was told to come back once I had prescription so I could be shown how to put it on. Was told I would not be charged for that. Called Friday morning to let them know I had it and was told to go ahead and come in. Went in and was shown how to put it on. Got a bill later saying I owed $40 for a copay, even though I was told I would not be charged. Called the billing person who said I was sick and I rescheduled for that Friday and it was an appointment. No, it wasn't. Didn't even have an appointment, was told to just come in to be shown how to use the Libre. Will never go back

I went to Dr. Iqbal for a second opinion on my thyroid. He diagnosed me HYPERTHYROIDISM, which I'm not; and he sent the HYPERTHYROIDISM Diagnosis to my Medical Provider. He also left me take LEVOTHYROXIN for too long a period of time, when another Endocrinologist and Physician's Assistant informed me that it was urgent that I stopped taking LEVOTHYROXIN immediately. I will never go to Dr. Iqbal again for thyroid treatment; no exceptions.

I never write bad review unless the service I received was truly disgusting. I was mis diagnosed with Primary Hyperparathyroidism 4 years ago by Dr. Ikbal. This has now caused me exceptional pain and anguish years later. 3 days ago I walked in to get my lab results and images for a surgeon I now have to see due to Dr. Ikbal’s gross negligence to read bloodwork and I was told the Dr will not give them to me because the results are “for his research only”. If you value your health stay away from this office and his staff. His reports were incomplete and missing documents back to my primary care physician. I have been going to see Dr. Iqbal for almost 5 years now. He is an excellent doctor. Not only does he care about my medical health he also asks about my personal life.

I would not recommend Dr. Iqbal to anyone. My 83 year old father was a patient and was treated very poorly and unprofessionally. Iqba is an arrogant man who cannot admit that he makes mistakes. He prescribed a sensor for my father and scanned it with his reader which made my 83 year old father’s reader unable to scan his own sensor. Iqbal refused to admit that he was wrong by using his reader to scan my father’s sensor. Only one reader can be used with a sensor. Iqbal should have known this. It caused much confusion and we had to put a new $50 sensor on my father so he could take a reading. When we addressed this issue with Iqbal he blamed it on a “faulty sensor” instead of admitting he made a mistake. He also accused my father of being too old to download an app on his phone and told us he was doing US a favor by seeing us. I would not recommend Iqbal to any person. He cannot admit fault and is one of the most arrogant doctors I’ve ever met.

I would not recommend him at all. Wouldn't even share or go over your lab results with you.

Today they told me if I’m not paying the balance of 291$ that I had service since February 2019...due to the time of check out and made appointment nobody told me anything that I’ve owed them money as of my insurance should cover....6months later was today I drove all the way from centennial hill to Henderson office as of my regular check up.... the front desk lady told me I can’t see him only if I pay....I cancelled right there and told them no longer coming back...as she admit that was the office fault from previous team member....I’m not understand how’s this is my fault....but I’ll stuck with collection and looking for another doctor ..I’m not recommend this doctor.

Horrible experience. I went to this doctor with a thyroid ultrasound and detailed thyroid blood tests for him to look at. He said that he will need to do another ultrasound for his records but he won't charge me for it. I paid $120 at the end of the visit. Four weeks later I received a bill for another $200 which they said it's the ultrasound. I asked why I wasn't informed of this and charged when I initially paid and also asked to speak to the doctor and they declined. I don't see why he felt the need to do another ultrasound when I had just brought him one. I also asked for a copy and they refused to provide one for me. Safe to say I will never go there again. Waste of time and money

H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E! I left my most recent appointment due to excessive wait time. When I pointed out how long I had been waiting, he informed me that "when waiting to see someone like him, I should expect to wait 3 hours or more." NO!! My time matters too! Completely arrogant! He was very dismissive when I tried to discuss the side effects I was experiencing from the meds he prescribed. My condition actually got worse after seeing him.

Dr. Iqbal is knowledgeable, thorough and personable. Yes, he spends a lot of time entering info into the computer, & the wait can be long, but he also spends a lot of time with the patient. I had been going for years to another local Endocrinologist, and the quality of care diminished, especially since you can never see an MD or even an NP. Dr. Iqbal actually sees his own patients, a rarity these days. He's got his quirks, but after my other experiences, I would not see anyone else.

My horrendous experience with this doctor is a long story but I will narrow it to two points for future patients. Dr. Iqbal does not care about his patients. There are doctors who do their job because they want to contribute something to humanity and those that see dollar signs when a patient walks in; Dr. Iqbal is of the latter $$. The second point is about his office staff. I have never been so disrespected in an office setting as I have in Dr. Iqbal's office. The nurses need to take classes on interpersonal communications and learn about a well established idea in their profession called empathy. After taking my copay, I was informed they would have to reschedule due to lack of medical records. I brought current blood test with me that he deemed inadequate without viewing them. This was my first visit. The Doctor provide a complete review of my medical history. He performed necessary physical examination of my thyroid including a medical scan. He reviewed my lab and presented the results in relation to his examination. This comparison provided a clear understanding of my conditions. He also answered my medical questions. Office Staff is really bad. The doctor gave me a CGM to use for 4 days and go back to office to check it and sugar levels over the 4 days. He said everything was good i had 3 lows over the 4 days. About a 10 days later i get a letter in the mail from NVDMV saying your doctor wrote the DMV and said i should not be driving because of the 3 low blood sugars i had. I had an appointment at 11:30 am and as I was on my way to the office I received a call at 11:05 am. The woman asked if I was already on my way for my appointment, to which I replied yes. She stated they were running behind schedule and it would be better if I could come at 2:15pm. So I decided to go in the afternoon so that I could avoid a long wait. I arrived at 2:05 filled out the necessary paperwork by 2:20pm. Another patient came in after me and was called in before me at 2:44pm. So I decided to leave. I am a diabetic and after the first visit with him he raised my insulin level so high that it caused me to have a diabetic seizure & put in the hospital for 2 days. After discussing my seizure with this doctor he said being a diabetic does not cause seizures. After another visit to his office my blood sugar was so high that he sent me to the ER, spent 3 hours in the ER the ER doctor just told me to give myself an insulin shot and it took my blood sugar down. I been dr Iqbal patient since the last 2 years and Ican tell that he's very good dr. He's very professional and answer all your question in a very patient wsy. I'm just happy that he's treating my toroid problem. And of course I will highly recommend him.

I see Dr. Iqbal for periodic monitoring (most recently February 2017). I've always found him to be very thorough and caring. He takes his time and addresses my many questions. I wish I could find a primary care doctor as thorough and thoughtful as he is.

Dr. Iqbal is extremely knowledgeable and found a lump in my thyroid within 10 seconds of feeling my neck. He ordered the test and I had it biopsy within 2 weeks. He wants his patients to not have to bounce back and forth and treats issues aggressively. I would recommend him to anyone needing a specialist.

After seeing so many specialist I was disappointed until I consulted Dr.Iqbal. With his treatment & diagnosis; I feel like a normal human being again

I was able to get an appt quickly. The staff was courteous and professional. Dr. Iqbal very patiently and politely listened to all of my concerns. I was in really bad shape, having had my thyroid med reduced by 31% by a previous dr. Dr. Iqbal conducted a scan of my thyroid in is office. He immediately saw the effects of not having enough thyroid medication and prescribed my previous amount. Ordered a blood test and return visit. Repeated in1 mnth. I am back in balance, renewed energy!

Patiently went over all aspects of ultra sound of thyroid in language that is understandable to those not in the medical profession. Down to earth. Would recommend him.

When I went in for complaints about my health, he sent me away with a lab slip but was sure to charge a high amount for services he did not provide. Plan on being there a while. Dr. is very comprehensive and caring with his patients and doesn't rush appointments. Not a bad quality in a doctor.

Dr. Iqbal is an exceptional doctor in his field. He is extremely knowledgeable and is able to explain things in layman's terms without being condescending or belittling you for asking additional questions. The *biggest* and only problem are his office staff/nurses. They are extremely unprofessional; in appearance as well as demeanor. They do not seem to have a clue how to interact with people;more often than not, they act as if any person/patient there is a waste of their time and bothersome
