I had a terrible experience with Dr. Haab and do not recommend her. My daughter was born on week 34 and spent two weeks in the NICU. Dr. Haab was my O.B. until my week 28 when I decided to change and go with the midwife because I did not feel connected with Dr. Haab. On week 32nd I started bleeding and had to go to the emergency room, where they told me I had placenta previa. They looked at my 20 weeks ultrasound and told me it was in WRITING that I had Previa. However, Dr. Haab never told me I had placenta previa. In the emergency room the O.B. mentioned the precautions I should have been having: not have sex (which I had), do not exercise (I did prenatal Pilates and yoga), and that I should have had another ultrasound. After 6 days I bled again and had an emergency c-section. With placenta previa, labor is avoided because there can be very serious consequences for the mother and the baby. However, Dr. Haab in one of the last appointments I had with her asked me if I wanted to schedule a day for induction in what would be my 40th week. On one hand, I am grateful for bleeding in my 32nd week, because I don't even want to think what would have passed if I did not bleed and everything was "normal" and went into labor. I believe Dr. Haab was negligent by not informing me of my condition and providing me with the necessary care in this regard.

She is very nice and explained what she does the first time I went. I have always went to a Family Dr. for this. But, all is great with her being very good.
