I have been seeing Dr. Gerken for over 10 years in her practice. She is kind and a great listener. I value her empathy which is a strong point in our patient- physician relationship. Quick to respond on Rx refills too added bonus.

Dr. Gerken is hands down the best dr i have ever encountered. She saved my 1st child in an emergency situation ..without her dedication and fast thinking he wouldnt be the happy healthy 6 year old today.

I am only writing a review because I think it's just terrible Dr. Gerken is poorly rated with no explanations. I have had Dr. Gerken as my OBGYN for almost 10 years. She is wonderful and easy to talk with and relate to and I have never been happier with an OBGYN. I highly recommend her and plan to take my teenager daughter to her when needed. Her style seems like it will be so comforting for a young woman. She will sit with you and talk to you as long as she needs she has never so much as raised an eyebrow to my questions and concerns, she gives it to you straight and kindly. She has always been available for my calls and questions. She is usually a month or so out on appointments but that's normal. My wife is dead I feel she would still be alive today if she would have done her job. She dyed Feb. 16 2018. I miss her do much. We were married 25 years. She was my only friend. Dr Gerlin Removed her ovary Feb 2017. Noted there was scar tissue but dosen't think it was cancer so she did not send it in for a biopsy. My wife kept complaining about lower abdominal pain . DR Gerkin thought it was in her head. She went to the emergency room twice in Nov. Kicked her out. Dead Feb 16 2018.5038124499

Very poor bedside manner. Not really receptive to issues or discussion of options for care. She always seems rushed. There is a male OB/GYN in the same office who is a world of difference. I would recommend him over her.
