Dr. Bruce Kuang-Huay Tan

I’ve had a deviated septum my whole life. Dr. Tan is super friendly and the staff is awesome with communication. Dr. Tan performed septoplasty and it was the best decision I ever made. I had no idea this is how people feel breathing “normal”. I have no obstructions now and not only breathe better but it has eliminated most of my snoring. The recovery after is not comfortable. Day 1 and 2 is tough with the drainage and changing your bandages. It gets a lot easier after that but to be transparent, the stints in your nose are not fun. But it’s only a week and beyond worth it! After a week, they come out and it’s the best feeling in the world.

Dr. Tan was very honest and provided me with alternatives to surgery as well as the risk, recovery time etc related to surgery. The process from consult to post recovery was smooth and a pleasant experience.

Dr. Tan is always on time and he was always gentle and explained things in ways that I could understand. Before opting for a surgery he ran many tests and cultures to assure surgery was the best route for me. Even though the surgery didn't help he is still actively looking for ways to improve my sinus conditions, whether through different medicine or through another surgery

By far one of the best experiences I've had with a doctor in a long time. Explained everything as he went along for the exam. Then performed a CT scan right in his office and went over the images with me and explained everything that he was seeing. I had nasal polyps done by one doctor at my local community hospital. That doctor couldn’t get all the polyps out due to my cochlear implant and didn’t tell me he would t get them out before the surgery. I learned afterwards and months later the nasal polyps came back. Went to see DR Bruce Tan he says no problem with the cochlear implant. And got everything out. No polyps came back or grew back. He even recorded the surgery and I got it on a jump drive. Dr. Tan and his staff were very professional and took the time to educate me on the diagnosis and what he would do during the operation. Now, 3 months later I am feeling great! I have referred my friend with a similar diagnosis and he underwent the same surgery. He also has no regrets with the operation, care, or cost, given the value received.

Dr. Tan was able to perform the surgery without damaging the cochlear implant. Dr. Tan and his team did a excellent job and I couldn't have asked for more. Sense of smell is starting to come back within a week after surgery. I wish I found Dr. Tan before using a community hospital which didn't do as good of a job. Dr. Tan was very efficient and explains what is happening so the patient understands. Very pleasant and has a great "bedside" manner. His staff is just as helpful and all are prompt to answer questions. I highly recommend Dr. Tan.

Care was excellent. Receiving answers via Healthloop was slow and responses didn't truly answer the question I was asking. Call the office and talk to someone if you have questions.

Dr. Tan is skilled, informative, and compassionate. I highly recommend him!!!

Dr. Tan is very talented physician. He following proper procedures, he diagnosed my chronic sinus issues in a personal manner.

Met him for repeated sinus infections. Have had previous surgery. After trying medical treatments he operated. I don't ever remember breathing this well before. Have not had any major infections since. Very nice man and good bedside manner. He makes sure you are comfortable and well educated about your situation and options. I highly recommend him.
