Easy experience!

Very kind and devotional

Dr. Frank is very professional and caring. He's always been extremely knowledgeable in every area of my health issues.

The appoint was at 10:30 am and I arrived early and got right into see Dr. Frank. He was listening and caring and handled the meeting very professionally. The proceedure was scheduled out only three weeks. I am very please with Dr. Frank and the office.

I cannot say enough about Doctor Frank. He has always put my mind at ease and cares for you as an individual and is very easy to talk to about any concerns I have. His staff also has always been amazing and caring as well! A colonoscopy isn’t exactly fun but he makes getting through this a lot easier!

Initial visit was very positive experience. Front office friendly and helpful. Dr Frank comes across as attentive and focused during the visit. Looking forward to his followup.

Had three procedures done by Dr. Frank. Questions and concerns were addressed. Felt very at ease.

This was my first office visit meeting dr Frank. I had filled out the new patient paperwork prior to the visit. There was no wait. We discussed the reason for my visit. I have great confidence in Dr. Frank. I have recommended him to family & friends since our move to Georgetown in 2005.

Dr. Frank is excellent! The office staff is another matter. No one EVER answers the phone, and callbacks occur ONLY at 8:30am and 12:30pm. God forbid you should be indisposed or on another call. If you are, better luck next time!

Dr. Frank was highly recommended to me by my ENT when I posed the question, ' Would you go to Dr. Frank for treatment?'. I am very confident Dr. Frank is a skilled practitioner and will provide more than adequate care. I am looking forward to his diagnosis and treatment plan.

Dr. Frank is clear, concise, and collaborative with his patients as he truly understanding the issues of each individual he sees and is great at finding the most optimal solution to gain better health outcomes. Truly an expert in his field

Every aspect of my care, from the front desk assistant, to the medical assistants to Dr. Frank has been exceptional. The Endoscopy center staff and experience was one of compassion, care and competence.

Dr. Frank is a consummate professional and along with his superior team made my surgery a breeze. Dr. Frank explained the procedure in great detail which provided me a calming effect going into surgery. Great job Dr. Frank. Thank you!

When I got test results that said I could have cirrhosis my regular Dr sent me to Dr Frank. I truly believe I’m getting the best care possible. He calms me down when I get really scared and answers all my questions I would recommend Dr Frank to anyone that has cirrhosis.

Dr Frank is a capable doctor and very likable however his office staff is not. I have called for 2 weeks, leaving messages to ask for an appointment and have gotten no call back. I have no idea how this office runs but that is showing absolutely no concern for patients. Too much Frustration.

Fast efficient and personable. Great staff.

Dr. Frank gave clear instructions and explanation of entire procedure.

He and everyone at the office were friendly and caring.

Dr. Frank is really great. He listens to everything I tell him even though sometimes it's hard to find the right words. He keeps trying until he finds the right remedy.

Dr. Frank and his PA, Dawn, saved my life and I can't thank them enough. The doctor didn't mess around. I was admitted to the hospital immediately. From there, I was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease and am getting treated now.

Dr. Frank is a patient doctor who really listens to you. He is clear in his explanations and directions. My husband and I both have used his services and we would recommend him to anyone looking for his specialties.

I have been going to Dr. Frank for several years now & have always been treated well. Dr. Frank seems to truly care & take an interest in each of his patients. I do miss his longtime nurse that he had but his new nurse Bea seems to be efficient & seems to truly care about a patient's needs. I might add that I no longer live in the G'town ,R.Rock area but it is worth the 90+ mile drive to me to becable to be treated by a good Dr.

Dr Frank treated me during a recent hospital stay. I recently had a telemedicine follow up with him and he was very diligent.

I met Dr. Frank via video due to the pandemic. He was friendly, professional, listened closely to why I was seeing him, asked insightful questions, and took the time to explain his thoughts about my health and medical conditions. I switched to Dr. Frank because the staff at my previous gastroenterologist's office were painfully slow to respond or non responsive to prescription refill requests, or got them wrong often. Within one hour of our first appointment, Dr. Frank's staff had already refilled my prescriptions and sent a brand new one to the pharmacy. They respond quickly to questions on the portal and are easy to work with. I'll be scheduling 2 procedures soon and anticipate that this will be as smooth and patient-focused as all my other interactions with them have been.

I have seen Dr. Franks in the past for Diverticulitis a great a Colonoscopy. I saw him recently on a video by computer. He was on time, professional and pleasant.

Dr Frank and the nurses were great. The reason for the 2 star review if the front staff at the procedure office was horrible. The check in nurses were rude, the witch at window one actually argued with me and acted discussed and mumbled under her breath when I actually read what I was signing. When I asked a question on one of the formes she actually got irate. One of the nurses had to ask if there was a problem. She needs to be removed from dealing with people. I really liked Dr. Frank and his nursing staff but will never see Austin Gastro again. You should actually have friendly staff not the self centered, rude, I don’t even want to call them people. Trying not to cuss since they were so bad.

Have had three or four colonoscopy scopes and polyp removals from Dr. Frank and all were excellent outcomes. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Excellent and caring staff who treat me like family. Dr. Frank is personable, understanding, and listens to all of my concerns/worries. He takes his time with me and looks at every possible treatment carefully before deciding which is best for me.

I didn't see Dr Frank. Just the PA. With the exception of the receptionist who was friendly the other 3 people I had interaction with were very cold, unfriendly and uncaring. They asked several questions but interrupted during every answer. I went here because they said on the phone they perform colonoscopies in Georgetown but during scheduling they push Shoal Creek and 1st appt. in GT is in 3 mo. because Dr. spends limited time on GT. The whole vibe there made me uncomfortable. I didn't see Dr Frank. Just the PA. I have had two telehealth appointments with Dr Frank since the pandemic began. Technically, it was a very easy and supportive experience. Dr Frank was very helpful, listened patiently to my description of my concerns, offered reasonable and comforting response and possible diagnosis, gave specific instructions for actions I could take and scheduled a follow up At the follow up, my symptoms had improved and I was greatly relieved of the concerns I had previously been troubled by. All in all, my entire experience was positive from start to finish. I will absolutely call Dr Frank if I have any future gastro problems.

Dr. Frank has been my doctor for over 12 years. . He listens and his pleasant manner easily puts you at ease. He always knows when my reflux problem needs a check. I was having some unusual discomfort in the area of my intestines. He ordered a CT scan to be sure of what was going on. The results were that there was a possible malignancy in my uterus and water on my kidney. There was no evidence that the problem was from my colon. I am so thankful to him for being thorough and for saving my life. Needless to say, I am fortunate to have found a doctor like Dr. Karl Frank who is always there for his patients.

I used telehealth for the first time. The office personnel walked me through it ahead of the appointment time. It was a good way to interact as my husband is 82 years old and has a heart condition. I don’t want to take any viruses home to him.

Refer to my prior comments but here are a few of them: He was caring, friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, & came highly recommended from prior patients, including my husband. This was my first visit & I scheduled a colonoscopy with him here in Georgetown.

I just left my Tele-Health appointment with Dr. Frank. My first impression is that he is refreshingly good at listening and that his deep experience makes him an excellent diagnostician. I was expecting what I’ve grown accustom to on a first visit to a doctor. I thought there would be a rush to describe symptoms and express my concerns. Not the case. I expected vague explanations of possible causes of my issues and maybe some lab tests ordered. Instead Dr. Frank gave me a clear explanation, an actual diagnosis of what the root cause of my problem could be. I have a plan and I have relief knowing that I have found a doctor I have confidence in. I’m happy with this Gastroenterologist!

Used to be a patient of Dr. Frank. So dissatisfied. Dealing with him and his nurse was a complete nightmare!! Do your self a favor and do not go to this office.

Excellent. Great bedside manner. Very good physician.

I have been going to Dr Frank for many years. You never feel rushed by staff or doctor.

He is never in a hurry and takes time to listen and answer my questions.

Okay, cannot be more frustrated than with this office. I tried to reschedule a colonoscopy for 3 weeks. They only call you once after you have tried to schedule & if they miss you, too bad, because you must keep calling back. In addition, I could never get a live person, only a recording to leave a message. My situation changed & needed some guidance on how to handle my situation from his nurse. After waiting another day, I finally got a phone call, only to be constantly interrupted by the nurse when trying to explain what was going on. In addition, Dr. Frank gave me a medication but never really went into detail as to why I needed it or the reason for prescribing it. I'm a very unhappy patient right now & only wanted to be treated with some respect. I do not understand how any physician's office stays in business like this. I like Dr. Frank, but there is lots of improvement needed in the way the calls & staff treat the patients. Okay, cannot be more frustrated than with this office. All staff were friendly, answered all my questions, and were very proactive in making any concerns I had a non-issue.

The staff and Dr. Frank we’re great. I was brought back from the waiting room quickly. The nurses were very attentive and reassuring. Dr. Frank introduced himself and the next thing I knew, I was waking up back in the prep room. Quick and painless, (and I got a clean result). I highly recommend Dr. Frank and Austin Gastroenterology.

I was in for a routine colonoscopy. I saw the PA in the office, which was fine with me as I was having no problems. Just age!! We met in the surgery room, but his staff and all I worked with were personable, friendly, and knowledgeable.

The front office staff are very kind and patient. The nursing staff are great and Dr. Frank is excellent. Even though he’s extremely busy, I’ve never felt rushed. He’s a good listener and explains things thoroughly. When I had problems with medication, he was happy to help me find an alternative which is working well. I have and will recommend him to friends.

I did not have a complicated condition that would require me to have many office visits. I had an office visit w/PA and was recommended to have a colonoscopy. The staff at the Austin Endoscopy Center treated me especially well for how poorly I was feeling after prep the night before. I appreciate that Dr Frank called me himself after I had called with a concern during prep.

HE, NOT A NURSE, RETURNED THE CALL. He confirmed we had good instincts on how to address it; 40 minutes later,HE CALLED BACK TO CHECK ON HER STATUS!
