Dr. Carol L Morcos

Doesn't communicate with the pre-checkup nurse or read lab work, missing follow-up for concerning lab results and 'reasons I'm here' to the nurse. I now need surgery for hacking and wheezing which keeps me up at night. Would have been nice if I didn't have to find another doctor to figure that out. Dismissive of non-hormonal copper IUD and my hesitations about switching to hormonal. Though multiple concerns were stated to the nurse, Morcos breezed into the room with 'so we're getting your IUD changed today?', as if it was hardly a question. Me: "Well, after we talk about it first." Morcos, exasperated: "I thought we already went over it, but okay." (We had discussed it once, months before. But this time I had concerns. . .which only annoys doctors who don't listen.) I raised doubts reflected in my lab work and mental health history. She didn't care. Thankfully a doctor at OHSU did. Find a doctor who listens and considers alternatives. Best of luck.

I saw Dr. Morcos until I was 31 weeks pregnant with my first child. I switched to a different OBGYN after she 1) responded with, “Well, I assume you want your baby to be born alive,” when I asked to discuss my birth plan; and 2) had unauthorized tests performed using blood drawn for my gestational diabetes test. In my experience, she rushes and doesn’t always listen to her patients.

Love, love, love Dr. Morcos. She is so kind and funny and makes me feel so comfortable and safe. I highly recommend!

She has helped me through 3 surrogacies and my hysterectomy she explains everything super well and is very personable. Never rushed.

Dr. Morcos generally has a friendly demeanor, but she did not take some of my concerns seriously and kept trying to push birth control options on me. She has a pretty simple outlook on hormones and did not take the time to completely understand other lifestyle choices I was making that could have led to my issues. Even though I was having severe pain and discomfort, she left me without answers and on the line for a giant bill from all the negative tests. This might be a comment about Corvallis Clinic more than her, but just asking a few simple questions that took 3 minutes to answer in a visit was billed as extra care, which was coded to be a hundred dollars more expensive than the regular visit. Their coding practices are very unreasonable.

I have been seeing Dr. Morcos for many years, and she is so amazing, I drive nearly an hour just to see her. When I was having some unexplained symptoms, after seeing three other doctors, right away she truly listened and did everything she could to help us get to the bottom of things. She is very thorough, takes the time to explain things, and really, honestly remembers and cares about her patients. I would highly recommend her to anyone with zero hesitation.

She is absolutely amazing!!!! I am so thankful for her I just love her! She's helped me through sooooo much hand she was ALWAYS super sweet and helped me all of my bazillions of questions ❤️ I can't say enough good things about her! I have been her patient for many years and I am super duper happy.

She is sooooooo great!!!! I adore her!! She has been so sweet and funny and SUPER patient with my bazillions of questions!! She's seriously wonderful!

I love Dr. Morcos She is the best!

Dr. Morcos is a "keeper". I recently had some tests come back with worrisome results, and Dr. Morcos took the time to explain the possible outcomes honestly and in detail. I feel she is taking every precaution to help me achieve a positive outcome. I especially appreciate that she takes the time to call with results as soon as possible, even if it means calling at 8 pm on a Friday evening, to prevent her patients from having to spend an anxious weekend waiting for information.

I just love her to pieces!! She was my OB for my twin pregnancy and now again for my single. She is sweet and funny and answers all of my questions even the silly ones and doesn't make me feel stupid for asking. I feel like I am her only patient and she really cares. I can't wait for my picture of all of us with the new baby. She also helped me previously through a miscarriage and when I needed hope, she was there for me cheering me on. I can never thank her enough and she was right all along. I have several friends that see her now and they love her too. Her nurse Maddie is a big help with my questions and a super sweetheart too!!!!!
