Very upset with the care I've received from DR Gordon. I am 29 years old and I had a cystoscopy with her. For my follow up she barely gave me ANY instructions on what to do and rushed me out of her office, I basically felt like I was annoying her. I did have somewhere to be that afternoon and her staff fit me in with perfect timing but she didn't explain hardly anything! She basically told me she didn't know why I still had pain and I'm young so i'm fine... Even though I have an infection. I feel worse now then I did BEFORE surgery and it's been 3 weeks. I also still have blood clots coming out in my urine. TERRIBLE, I will never recommend this urologist and need to find another one. My one feedback is the anesthesiologist and nurses at the surgery center in Oxford were absolutely amazing. I did not get sick from it and they assured me the whole time, I was very grateful for that staff from the initial call to the end.

Awful response to someone that struggling. I’ve never been more disgusted with the healthcare here. Pitiful.

Dr Gordon listened, was respectful, and was super nice. Very down to earth personality. I have been to Urologist for over 30 years and this Dr knows her stuff and listens to the patient. Her staff, extremely organized and timely on results once test came back. She had no problem with me asking questions or talking about my experiences in the past. Btw, I didn’t need her to be nice, I needed her to make sure I don’t die from Sepsis and she is available to take care of me when I need her. I am so happy I ignored reviews on some dr review sites and went to this Dr!! Dr Gordon listened, was respectful, and was super nice. Very down to earth personality. Dr Gordon is very caring and compassionate. She takes issues very seriously and helps resolve any problems. The ladies at checkout are very sweet and helpful. Debbie is very nice, and makes sure all orders are correct and that if you live far away and need scans or labs, you can use a site closer to home.

Dr Gordon promptly provided exceptional care and treatment for my condition. Her surgical skills are highly commendable. The entire facility is excellent and the staff is very courteous and professional.

Dr. Gordon has a wonderful nursing staff. Cherrie and Nika are compassionate and knowledgeable. They take good care of me. And Dr. Gordon is so attentive to my needs and situation. She works hard to help me overcome my health issues.

Not always the case in any ER but she was calm, firm and loving to our family. She was even kinder and clearly explained my mom's condition in the follow-up appointment in her office! My experience was very good. Help was very pleasant and nurses very informed. Knew what was expected and what they were doing. A little time consuming. My appointment was at 2:00 and I didn’t get out until 3:45. Too much time. I liked the Doctor a lot. Thank you for your concern. Crystal and Cheryl and Cindy L

At Oxford - - Crystal & Cheryl - very pleased with my care.. Only problem is the phone system...not getting answered or Doc not getting message in a timely manner..

Treated for overactive bladder, Doctor Gordon has proved to be direct in covering the issues. She has left me feeling confident and hopeful in the improvement. She has been refreshing and informative.

Dr Gordon is exceptional...after several months having multiple tests ... with no results my primary care Dr. referred me to Dr. GORDON and I am grateful for that. Dr Gordon never gave up and determined the underlying problem...put me on appropriate meds to resolve the problem. Just went for 2 month check up and all is wonderful. I have been coming to Dr. Gordon’s office for about five years- I found it easy to talk to her about my problems. After trying different programs the doctor had me try the pins program . Crystal V. In oxford was the person who was in charge. She explained how the pins program worked. Crystal is a very pleasant person and made you feel at ease. Dr Gordon is great! I have Interstitial Cystitis which is disrupting my life. It is very difficult to treat IC. Dr Gordon told me at my first appointment that as long as I am having symptoms she will do her best to try different treatments until she finds something that works. I am continuing to have problems and she hasn't given up. She is very empathetic and cares about me. She is an excellent Dr. The difficulties i have are with her staff. My mom and roommate also see Dr Gordon and have the same problems. The staff have changed our appointments more than once and we show up only to find out that our appointments have been changed without our knowledge. I have been a patient of Dr. Gordon for several years, with a history of fecal incontinence, urinary tract infections, and rectal prolapse. As the condition worsened and surgical options narrowed, she encouraged me to not be afraid of the possibility of a colostomy, saying, "You can do this!" Her unflagging concern for my physical and emotional well-being, her empathy and her optimism, and her straightforward advice led to my enormously improved health and positive outlook. She is the best!

Dr Carole Gordon is one of the best doctors I have found up in the villages. It has been very difficult for me to find efficient and thorough doctors and I’m so thankful that I found her.

After moving here from NY I could not find a urologist to treat me. I called my broker and told him to please find me one. I did have to travel to Tampa once. He got back to me it took a week. He did his homework.I have a chronic bladder problem caused by radiation treatments 30 yrs ago. Dr Gordan was the only Urologist that knew how nto treat me. All the others I called knew nothing about it. She was wonderful she knew exactly what to do.I see her when I need her for a flare up.I worked for a specialist for 14 yrs and I know when im in good hands.

Could not have gone any smoother. She answered all my questions and explained the results of a ct that I did not understand. The office staff and nurses were all very friendly and helpful. I was in and out in less than 1 hour! Thank you Dr. Gordon Bill Baker

I went to Dr Gordon in February and would never go back to her. Forget the fact that she has no personality I can deal with that, but she treated me like I was just another patient and had very little patience when I proceeded to ask her questions of concern about possible surgery. Thank God I found a Dr at USF in Tampa.

Not at all compassionate. Husband in much pain in ER and her attitude was abrupt. Unless she has qualified among the best urologists in this country, I cannot ignore her demeanor. If you have ever experienced Dr. Sanders care....very similar. Too many other urologists to chose from.

I saw Dr. Gordon for a recurring/ongoing problem after having been to 2 other Doctors. For the first time I had relief for both problems. Dr. Gordon is efficient, knowledgeable and is willing to keep trying to help. While her manner is brusque, she is kind and does whatever she can to help.

Dr Carole Gordon i a highly professional, caring doctor who treats her patients with respect and intelligence. She explains your condition in clear terms without "talking down" to the patent. She is interested in the total patient not just the urological problem. Dr Gordon is friendly, concerned and quite knowledgeable. Yes, I would recommend her to anyone who asks. Oh, by the way, the office staff is effcieicnt, friendly and work well with each other.... a good sign of how the doctor works with the staff.

She does not listen She continued to prescribe meds that would hurt my kidneys and blandly lied to me telling me they were ok in fact they weren't. Had me go through 12 weeks of a test that I told her was not my problem..She has a routine and does same treatments for all,patients.. No personlity and gets uneasy when questions are asked Staff sent me into room,with another person's chart..

I would not recommend Dr.Gordon. She came into the exam room talking to me about the wrong kidney, and from there the appointment went down hill. At the end of the appointment she said she could not handle my problem and didn’t know who to refer me to. Not very professional. Also she has a habit of not taking to you face to face. I felt like this was an assembly line practice and my problem did not fit the kind of problem she treats.

Dr. Gordon has been very impersonal and uncaring in my two visits to her office. I spoke to the back of her head while she checked off boxes during the entirety of my initial visit. My second visit for a cystoscopy was rushed and no privacy was offered for me to disrobe. This may be an everyday thing for her and her staff but I felt embarrassed and not treated respectfully as a patient. Felt like I was a number and not a patient. Also no help when I needed it with employer required paperwork.

Wonderful physician, thorough explanations of everything. Solved incontinence issue that several other physician could not. Office staff very responsive, calls returned timely. Sometimes, wait is longer than I want, but I know how much time she spent with me, she’s worth the wait.

I was extremely pleased with her! She was completely interested in how my procedure should be accomplished and I was quite happy with the results. Yes, she can be very" business-like"; but, I was more interested in the outcome than her personality. On the follow up visit after the procedure, she was much more relaxed and offered her personal cell # if I should have any problem whatsoever.

I could not recommend that anyone see Dr Gordon as a Urologist. I found her and her staff to be unresponsive to my calls on two different occasions. The last time had to do with my having an allergic reaction to a prescribed medication and the need for a replacement. No one returned my call in the next two days. When I canceled upcoming appointments, no one even asked for a reason why. I would never return to Dr. Gordon or any other doctor in that group.

She put a stent in me without telling me. Then, after a bad experience at the hospital, I went to another urologist. He took an xray and said the stent had to come out. So I have to go to another hospital for surgery.

Dr. Gordon almost cost me my Kidney and my life. I will never see her again, the only reason I saw her twice in the office was because I had to get a cath and a stent out. While taking the stent out she spent more time talking to the nurse then me about personal stuff and it took her three tries to get it out. I still have issues with my kidney, but have found a more caring doctor to treat me.

Dr. was easily agitated. Not a good explanation of procedures. Was easily perturbed and short with the patient.
