Dr. Carole C Vetter

Dr Vetter changed my life at age 17. I won’t get into the gory details.. but after multiple cheerleading accidents, countess hours of physical therapy, and way too much pain for such a young kid.. I finally found a surgeon that could help. My mom found her in the Milwaukee ballet brochure. My surgery was no joke, but I couldn’t be more glad we chose her. Im now at age 33 and have not had any more knee injuries since I was 17 because of Dr Vetter’s skills. Im living pain free and so thankful for the amazing care I received.

She is the best. Explains everything and is super sweet. I wouldn’t of wanted anyone else to do my surgery.

After 6 years of pain and "we can't fix you" from doctors. Dr. Vetter diagnosed and laid out simple surgery plan on our first visit. Fast forward a few months and I'm writing this while I recover and things are looking great. I was referred to her by a VA doctor who said "if there is anyone in the orthopedic field that can help you, its her". Glad to have made that connection. After extensive testing she just didn't want to handle my daughter's clear cut case but sent us all over for extensive testing to rule out things that weren't there. Complete waste of time and a 3 month delay of treatment of a child in pain. Another excellent surgeon said it was a clear cut case and would treat her.

Very professional and amazing orthopaedic surgeon. Takes time and sits down and goes over every detail and no question is unanswered.

Quality MDs, I would get an MD if you can (vs a PA/NP). Expensive (and I have one of the best private insurance plans) but that's because it is part of Froedtert.

Dr. Vetter is amazing. She did my 17 year old son's knee surgery and was wonderful in every way. I wish I could give her 10 stars!

Dr. Vetter came into the exam room with 2 assistants. Neither the doctor nor assistants knew my name and why I was there. Vetter was clearly NOT interested in my case. She gave a very rough examination, she did not answer questions. Vetter either intentionally lied about the cause of my knee locking or she was clueless after seeing my MRI. She has an impressive resume, but that's likely the problem. If you're not young, famous, athletic or all three, don't waste your time with this physician.

Dr. Carole Vetter is an outstanding surgeon. She is informative and explains everything. I highly recommend her and her staff as well! Very pleasant and knowledgeable surgeon!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!

What an awful AWFUL person. Since she became the doctor for the Bucks, the little people mean nothing to Dr. Vetter anymore. She does not show her patients or residents respect. She may be one of the top ortho doctors at Froedart, but she has clawed her way there and was not afraid to throw people under the bus to get there. I want a doctor that cares about me and my family and Vetter is not that kind of person.

Great physician who listens to your complaint and explains all possible options for physical lifestyle and activities. Great surgeon with excellent outcome well beyond my expectations.
