She genuinely cares for her patients and will explore every possible option to make certain you have the best medical care possible.

I love Dr. Aks. She is very thorough with her examinations and explaining test results and procedures. I'm very confident in her a a Dr. I also feel very comfortable with her. I feel teal blessed that I am in her care.

Dr. Aks is the best. So complete. Been with her for 5 years. Always keeps me well informed and explains things so well to me. She shows so much compassion. A real asset to the oncologist community.

My recent visit with this doctor was excellent. I was able to get a scheduled appointment within 24 hrs to deal with a problem I was experiencing. She was on time for the appointment and spent over an hour with me. She was extremely comprehensive and knowledgeable. She displayed compassion and relayed confidence to me throughout visit. I am a hospice nurse myself, and recommend her to all prospective patients

I highly recommend Dr. Aks. Her approach to my triple negative breast cancer was a life savor. She is a hard worker and always researching to find the newest and best options in cancer treatments. For that I am grateful! She has always been accessible and very faithful. Although having my chemo and radiation treatments during the first year of the pandemic, with all the RESTRICTIONS and REQUIRED REGULATIONS, she and her staff were very kind and worked hard to accommodate me where they could. Every word that is spoken after your hear the words “You have CANCER.” goes by the way side. You need to have an interpreter present to hear the information. I was grateful they allowed me to bring someone in with me. I am now 15 months past a full year of treatment, living a normal and full life. I hope you will consider her. I recently left a review about Dr Aks which I need to revisit. She is great. Summit Cancer was recently bought out which has thrown a monkey wrench into their customer service. After the 4th call, Dr Aks finally got my message. She returned my call and immediately set out to get me scheduled for additional tests and visits. I appreciated her candor and thoughtfulness and am very happy that my first impression was correct.

I found Dr. Aks to be VERY thorough. She took great care of my situation and made sure I was properly prepared for an upcoming surgery even though there was not much lead time. My surgeon was most impressed that she called him on a weekend before my Monday morning surgery. She is very good at explaining EVERYTHING. I highly recommend her. She is not only very competent but she has a great personality with patients.

dr aks was the best doctor ever, I was so scared on my first day of chemo. she came in. got on my bed whispered are you gonna eat your icecream, I said what icrecream. she went to fridge came out with a fudgesicle . I told her she could have it. and she jumped on my bed and ate her fudgescicle, while they started chemo. that's pretty personal and hands on. love her. will always remember her kindness when she left ., was so sad. as some of my other doctors were not so nice. Wonderful, kind, caring physician. Diagnosed my husband w/NHL quickly and began chemotherapy. Excellent bedside manner, spends lots of time explaining options and answering questions. Sad to hear that she is leaving our local area (Yakima, WA). My husband and I are thankful for her thoughtful, compassionate, expert care.

Dr. Aka was thorough when looking for the right diagnosis and patient with my questions. She never spoke down to me or belittled me for not understanding something and had wonderful bedside manner.
