We love Dr. Grannis! She has cared for my son since he was a newborn and has performed four surgeries (so far). She gives us such peace of mind. She is smart, decisive, and has nailed his treatment.

Dr. Grannis and her staff are awesome! This is the second time that my daughter has seen her. My daughter has autism and they are very patient with her. Never rush us and takes time to explained. It's just so hard to find a wonderful doctor that can handle my daughter. Highly recommended!

Dr Grannis has taken care of my daughter since she was 2.5, now 6. I couldn’t ask for a more attentive, calm, thorough doctor who provides consistently high service. Dr Grannis is now my doctor and last year operated on both of my eyes, removing cataracts. I unreservedly recommend her for the entire family!

I just had my appointment with Dr. Grannis and had to share how wonderful it went. I have always had such severe anxiety going into my appointments because I knew my situation and was always so discouraged when it came to do the eye exams. Today was the best eye appointment I’ve had in 18 years. Dr. Grannis made me feel so comfortable, something I never experienced before. The wait wasn't long and the staff is very friendly. Scheduling team is unprofessional, I was only calling to setup an appointment and they hung up on me twice. The office staff was nice and friendly. This was my first time visiting this location and the service was awesome. Wait time in the lobby was about 10 minutes. Dr. Grannis was gentle with my premie newborn and explained everything in detailed prior to the exam. I highly recommending visiting this location .

Dr. Grannis is a great doctor and she is wonderful with kids. She has a very calming presence about her and really listens to my daughter. I think if your child has any nervousness about seeing an eye doctor then Dr. Grannis is the perfect doctor for you.

Worst doctor at the Women's hospital of Texas.. she doesn't call or give an update for my baby mohamed

Waiting time is ridiculous. I wasted my whole morning there waiting for my child to be seen. No ones cares. Dr. Grannis is not the best. Last time she told me to take my child there to get a check up, after waiting for 2 hours, she didn't even examined my child, just sent her away. Not professional at all.

We were not impressed by Dr. Charity Grannis. Our family is new to Texas and she was referred to us by our pediatrician. I figured since she was booked far out for a new patient visit, she must be great. I was wrong. She was over an hour late, not warm with our special needs child, spent perhaps 5-10 minutes with her and charged us over $300 for the visit. Her assistant did all the work. We called the office the next day to talk about our concerns. We received text messages back. They did not apologize or take accountability for the poor service. Dr Grannis put me and my daughter at complete ease. She (my daughter) needed eye muscle surgery to straighten her eye. I had been nervous about this surgery for so many years but felt I was in good hands upon meeting Dr Grannis through a referral from Dr Lai. I wanted to hug Dr Grannis so many times during the process but it’s covid and I had to refrain, that was the hardest part for me. Everything else was a breeze. I came to see Dr. Grannis to get a second opinion and I’m glad to say she was Precise, direct and very thorough!

Dr. Grannis was good for my 2 year old's first eye appointment, but her office staff has not been fun to deal with. First upon entering their office, we weren't ever greeted. We waited around the front desk until someone finally came up to us to check us in. We had to wait a long time to see Dr. Grannis, but that's usually a given in most offices- I understand. The main cause for only a 2 star review is that they overcharged me. They basically charged double my copay. I don't understand why, as they took down my insurance information when I made the appointment months ago, in order to verify it. It's now been over a month since my daughter's appointment and I am being told the refund is still in "process". In fact my daughter's 2nd appointment was coming up in the next few days, but I cancelled it, since I still have not received my partial refund. I already verified through my insurance what was covered/my copay, as I thought and researched prior to visiting their office, so I see no reason why I haven't been refunded already. Also, not as big of a deal, but upon leaving I felt rushed. The family prior to us received stickers for their little girl's visit while my little girl didn't; instead we were checked out while the person assisting us and taking my copay was half listening to my questions, because she was on the phone at the same time. Very unprofessional - put the person on hold so you can deal with one patient at a time... Not a good first impression, and while our main goal was accomplished (getting my daughter's diagnosis/eyeglasses prescription), I will be seeking another doctor/office for future appointments. We love Dr. Grannis and all the staff at the office they are extremely kid friendly. Our daughter who is 5 loves going to get her eyes checked and Dr. Grannis has done an excellent job on her strabismus surgery and getting her the correct prescription to better her vision!!! 100% recommend!! I should also note that we moved about a year ago and now live 5 hours away and I still make the drive 2 times a year just so my daughter can be seen by her!! Awesome! Helped my grandson in an emergency situation same day! Lovely lady!!!

I went to see Dr. Charity on a emergency basis, i had wood stuck in my eye and it was rubbin and scratching causing me a lot of pain wether my eye was open or closed. When i was in her office i was seen right away even though i was a new patien and had to fill out paperwork. When i was in her office she quickly and efficiently examined me and found what was causing the irritation. She was then able to gently remove the splinters and i was unaware that she started until she told me she was done. I was quickly out of pain and walking out of her office able to see. I would hughly recommend seeing Dr. Charity for anything you have going on with your eyes.
