Total Right Hip Replacement on Oct-12th I had this hip replacement procedure it all went very well no problems at all my recovery has been very swift if I have to have surgery again I will definitely use Dr. Charles J DePaolo again he is a very great not good but great surgeon I had a Dr.'s visit today and all is well no complaints I don't have to go to the Dr. again for 3 months. Dr. DePaolo did a right knee replacement for me in January. Recovery has gone well due to the excellent care from Dr. DePaolo, his staff and physical therapy. I’m thankful for a skilled physician who cares deeply for the welfare of each patient.

Dr. DePaolo has done both R and L hip replacements for me-anterior approach (for which he retrained) and I have had fantastically fast recovery (with good PT) and great care-before, during, and after surgery.

First of all there isn't anything I can say other than absolutely fantastic Doctor. I went today to see Dr DePaolo for a problem with my right hip he treeted my wife and me with with the upmost respect he explained everything in detail and made me feel like I was his top priority and nothing else. He has the best bedside manners of any Doctor i have ever seen. His staff is just amazing also everyone here makes you feel like family. If it turns out I have to have a new hip Dr DePaolo will definitely be the one I go to. If you want a Doctor who truly cares about you as a patient you will not go wrong by going here. Thanks Dr DePaolo for making my visit today very pleasant and smooth you are a God send.

Dr. DePaolo performed hip replacement surgery for my husband and his service was outstanding! My husband was back in the swing in just a few weeks and had a terrific result. Just a few months later I started having problems with a hip and learned through the x-rays that both of my hip joints were in bad shape - one was just ahead of the other on the discomfort scale. Dr. DePaolo performed the surgery to replace both hip joints and I had an amazing result. I had a great recovery even having both replaced at the same time and in no time I was back digging in the garden. Dr. DePaolo is very highly skilled, compassionate and a genuinely kind human being. We would never go to anyone else for anything that falls within his purview. I would give Dr. DePaolo 10 stars if I could!

Dr.Depolo and his team? I searched the whole country. For hip replacement 10 years I search! Dr. Depaolo and his team? AWESOME! None can even compare .I'm 64 Dr.DePaolo an his team did total hip replacement, aprox.15hrs after up walking around climbing stairs I feel brand new.Dr.DePolo and his team treated me with total respect and I could feel the love and compassion they put in there work the others I went to were disrespectful even laughed at me suffering and of course milked my insurance. Not Dr.DePolo. So! Don't waste your time and money. Dr.DePolo and his team care about you. Words cannot Express how happy I am that I found Dr.DePolo and his team.

After bilateral knee replacement followed by a bilateral revision, (by another Asheville orthodpedist) I still had pain in both knees. Over two years, I visited my original surgeon, another orthopedist, and my family physician and was given the advice that I was still healing. . I went to Dr. Depaolo for a fourth opinion. He did a total "work up" and determined I had nerve pain at the surgery site. He put me on Gabapentin which resolved the pain. I now sleep through the night, stand for hours and have returned to hiking. Thank you, Dr. Depaolo! Highly recommended.

Dr depaolo is an amazing surgeon. He spends time with you and very thorough. You can tell he cares about his patients and now he is the only ortho doctor that i would trust for any treatment plan. His office staff is amazing as well and very engaged. His physical therapy group is also very good and compassionate. If your researching who is the best ortho doctor to see, dr depaolo is the best and only orthopedic doctor in town that really cares and listens. I learned first hand the benefit of seeing a orthopedic office run by the doctors and not a corporation because he takes his time with you and helps you. Highly recommend.

Dr. Depaolo saved my leg from staph. He is a genuine man and is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He likes to make his patients comfortable and goes to the max to find out what you have and treats it. I would have lost my leg due to infection had I not had Dr. Depaolo. I thank God for him every day.

I recently had a complete Hip Replacement by Dr. DePaolo. I can only give rave reviews of his caring and professional expertise in my treatment. For over two years I had a great deal of pain and went to several clinics and specialists in Asheville with no relief at all. Finally, my Primary care Physician sent me to Dr. DePaolo who found my problem immediately, gave me my options, and solved my problem. I am so thankful for him and his staff of wonderful and caring people. I would recommend Dr. DePaolo to anyone who needs a caring and awesome Orthodpaedist who is willing to spend time with you and answer any questions you have. I am so thankful I was sent to him. Doctor depaolo was a second opinion for a total knee replacement. After sitting down and speaking with him and his interest in my case I decided to use him. My surgery was extremely successful. The staff and his people were very helpful. I hope everyone has the same success that I have had. I will recommend Dr Depaolo to anyone needing knee surgery.

Dr. Charles DePaolo is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He is professional, knowledgeable and honest with you as a patient. He replaced both of my knees and I have been able to continue my weekly bowling league schedule. I highly recommend Dr. DePaolo! Thanks Dr. DePaolo. Would not go to another orthopedic surgeon. Dr DePaolo is an awesome surgeon. He takes time to listen to your concerns, and goes the extra mile. Have recommended family/friends who are now his patients. Office staff, PT personnel very helpful and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed being able to have PT at his office, especially water therapy.

Dr Depaolo preformed my hip replacement this week. He has been very professional and kind. I would recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic care. I have seen other doctors and groups locally but Dr Depaolo far exceeds their services and care.

Dr. Depaolo and his staff are just wonderful people. They make you completely comfortable and make sure all your questions are answered. They never make you feel rushed and they always have time for you. Dr.Depaolo will give you all the time you need. Dr.Charles Depaolo III, MD and your staff are the best.

He performed a surgery on me and totally messed up knee then told me nothing was wrong and he'd do another surgery "to prove to me nothing was wrong". After months I went to another surgeon who helped repair the damage and even said how much damage there was. Now I'm doing better. Yes he's a caring nice person but that doesn't translate into a good surgeon. Needs to stay within his skill set which is obviously not knee surgery. He's great with hip surgeries I hear but that doesn't help me

Caring, knowledgeable, approachable and a skilled surgeon. I had left hip pain for almost 18 months, going to other DR's was therapy and treatments that did not resolve the condition. After hip replacement surgury I am out of most of the pain and regaining my life back. Thank You!

Dr. DePaolo did my hip surgery and it went well. The staff was very sweet and caring. I feel so much better!

After being treated incredibly poorly at BRBJ....no surprise...Dr. DePaolo gave me excellent care! His approach to my diagnosis (severe knee arthritis) was methodical and careful. He gave me so much hope that surgery was not necessary and I am very grateful for his willingness to perform everything from physical therapy to my new total knee. He treated me as a family member and I will always recommend Dr. DePaolo!!!! Best Doc in WNC by far. Staff is also lovely and personable!!!

Dr.Depaolo is not only a wonderful doctor but he is absolutely one of the most wonderful people I've ever known. My aunt is mentally handicap. She was born the perfect child but at 9 months struck a fever and it fried her brain. Since she has been mentally handicap her legs grew up right which at the age of 40 in that state arthritis sits in. No one would help but Dr.Depaolo. He was the only one that would physically touch her to see the problem because of him we have a happy 56 year old girl.

His misdiagnosis due to his ignorance and ineptness caused me great pain, suffering, ruined my life for almost 3 years. I have finally found a competent orthopedic surgeon. He needs to just hang it up and just be a butcher for INGLES.
