Dr Kutler was exceptional in treating my husband for malaria. He is very knowledgeable about international travel and potential exposures for parts of Asia and Africa.

His treatment ruined my life. Two hours late for every appointment . Wish I never went to him

I didn’t find him detail oriented, my liver enzymes increased due to antibiotic treatment, I brought information to the doctors attention. Should have been other way around

Horrible doctor, worse human being. Dr Kutler used to be my primary care, my father’s primary care and my friend Krisha’s primary care. When I had Lyme Disease years ago he was dismissive and suggested I seek psychiatric care and then later when it persisted he dropped me as a patient because I kept calling to make appointments since my condition went untreated. My friend Krisha had a similar horrible experience with him and Lyme. But the most awful thing was what happened with my Dad Terry Laughlin. Kutler was his primary care for many years and yet failed to diagnose him with prostate cancer until it was already at Stage 4 and metastasized to the bone. My Dad Terry died as a result of failure to diagnose this historically slow growing form of cancer. Dr Kutler should not be allowed to practice. Because of him my Dad is dead and the world lost the world’s most well known swimming coach. Horrible doctor, worse human being. The best dr for wound treatment he saves my leg I contracted vibrio(flesh eating bacteria)it was so bad that I had a cardiac arrest my leg was a mess thanks to him and his incredible nurses I am now almost healed

Amazing physician! Kind, patience, SUPER THOROUGH, explains everything, and easy to talk too. Dr. Kutler listens, and takes everything you say into consideration. Even when you don’t realize he is or he gave attention to your concern he does and follows through 100%. Does test and looks at all angles. Really pays attention. Always caring and compassionate. A true doctor interested with your well-being.

I was admitted to Kingston Hospital with cellulitis and a Strep infection, my normal medical group Institute for Family Health is represented there. Without being asked, Kutler puts himself on my case, and then gives me an ultimatum- take his $500 a dose antibiotic as an outpatient for 14 days, or he will"keep me in the hospital". I finally got the Institute to wake up and fight him, and I am alive and home now. Kutler is brutal, greedy, and inhumane. He is a ghoul with no tact or humanity. It is easily observable how he dominates and intimidates most of the staff around him, as well as his patients.

Great Dr. Right on with diagnosis and treatment. Highly recommend him.

Dr Kutler is an infectious disease specialist. He also prescribes Suboxone for recovering drug addicts. I am a patient of his as a recovering addict . In return for a prescription for Suboxone, he asks that you see him 1x/mo., a therapist 2x/mo. and attend AA meetings 2x/wk . Fine. However he also tries to put himself forward as a therapist, which he has no formal background in. In that role he has humiliated me, treated me like I am stupid, been disrespectful and unprofessional. God complex?

He's a cocky nudnik who screwed up diagnosing something he should have learned in allergy & infectious disease. It's called Dermatitis Herpetaformis due to wheat allergy.

I've been treated with respect and dignity for over 12 years. I've feel fortunate that I have been able to see to most of my medical needs all at one location. I've seen 4 different doctors overtime four different medical necessities. I personally cannot speak highly enough of not just the doctors but the staff and even the billing department. I don't usually have the time or inspiration to leave ratings, but when it popped up for Dr. Charles Kutler I had to take a few minutes to say something quick and relevant to anyone, hopefully. Dr. Kutler specializes in Infectious Disease and does other things there as well. I have known him in his capacity as ID. As physicians go, besides being a leader in his field and well respected among his peers, though I believe that it is a singular, yet paramount characteristic that distinguishes him from good to great. I could probably write a huge essay on why I give him 5 starts, but I will relate it to something that is as fundamental as it is relatable: This would be the capacity for which he cares about his patients. That may sound understated, and some may even see that and ask... "well, don't all doctors?" Don't we all wish!? Think about how busy a Doctor's office is and how many people they see in a week? There is a lot more I could say... note that this rating is for Dr. Kutler as a physician specifically and does not apply to any other physicians within the practice (who are also great though), nor office and supporting personnel. Dr. Kutler was recommended to me for treatment of Lyme disease after an initial treatment of Doxycycline didn't relieve most of my symptoms, some of which were cognitive. Thankfully I didn't delay making an appointment as my final diagnosis proved that I had Lyme in my Central Nervous System and I needed immediate treatment. His demeanor is kind, measured and informative. He speaks respectfully, and answered all questions I had, both in person and through the web-portal, and I had a lot. During my first visit, he thanked me for being a farmer and to continue my hard work! I was amazed of the recognition, and knew I would never see another doctor for Lyme! He also offered me a hug during one visit after a hospital stay. I had such a positive experience (my symptoms have 99% resolved) that I changed my primary care doctor to one at his practice. I recommend him to anyone I know of who has Lyme! Dr Kutler was referred to my husband a few years back due to an infection that no one could diagnose. My husband had a foot wound that would not heal & was facing amputation of 2 toes if diagnosis was not found soon. Dr Kutler saw my husband in Benedictine Hospital while he was admitted & started an aggressive course of antibiotics immediately, ordered all new & different labs & quickly found the source & type of infection it was. Healing began within a few days of Dr Kutler's visit. Grateful!!!

Specialist for my husband when he contracted malaria. Very knowledgeable about malaria and part of the world my husband travels to for work, and on top of providing all travel inoculations and prescriptions needed to take with him for prevention of a variety of exposures. I have already referred friends who travel to Africa to Dr. Kutler for pre-travel visits.

I was slightly early for my first appointment ( 9:15AM) with Dr. Kutler. Checked in at front desk....insurance cards, phone confirmation, etc. Sat in waiting room for 1/2 hour. At 9:45 unfriendly,indifferent, unapologetic nurse calls me in. Height, weight, temperature, blood pressure and sits me in examining room (no explanation for wait) and tells me doctor will be a few minutes. At 10:05 still no doctor. 50 minute wait. I leave with explanation. OFFICE NEVER CALLS!
