Dean Bloch is the BEST around. I have had him for 25+ years and absolute Love him. One of a kind! He has helped me through my younger years with Endometriosis. He makes you feel at home.

Dr.Bloch Told me I didn't have PCOS which was previously diagnosed he told me I did have a thyroid issue even though my levels were normal he put me on medication for my thyroid. When I ended up going to a fertility Dr. They reconfirmed I DID have PCOS and didn't have a thyroid issue. If he would have taken the time to look at me and look my records he would have known what was wrong with me. He also just wanted to talk politics while I was in the office which we don't see eye to eye on. Where are you, Dr. Bloch?

Dr. Bloch is a gifted doctor and I feel lucky that I found him 27 years ago! As others before me, I also credit Dr. Bloch with saving my daughter's life and bringing her into this world 23 years ago. I am certain that if I were under any other's care, my beautiful girl would not be here today. After multiple miscarriages and then subsequently hemorrhaging at 13 1/2 weeks while carrying my daughter, I was rushed to the hospital. It still brings me to tears to think about Dr. Bloch, in the middle of a holiday dinner, leaving his family to come tend to me. He is compassionate, skilled, brilliant and always learning so that he can bring his patients the best possible care. The Hudson Valley is fortunate to have a doctor of his caliber here for us.

Dr Bloch is truly amazing. We look forward to our visits he’s always so upbeat. I never felt rushed, or just a patient. He takes his time goes over everything thoroughly. I tell my husband everyday I’m so happy with our decision to have dr Bloch deliver our baby. He made me feel comfortable and safe.

A very bizarre first OBGYN visit experience. I also previously left a review on here which appears to have been deleted. Yes, Dr. Bloch is humorous and tries to keep it light, but I did not find my visit with him to be thorough or helpful. I was trying to get pregnant and needed to establish care with an OBGYN given that I’d recently changed insurance. Since part of that visit was for a standard women’s wellness visit, I was supposed to have a Pap smear, but he forgot to actually perform the Pap smear. He did a brief internal exam and had his PA intern perform one as well (which I consented to), but he never actually did a pap, something I didn’t realize until I got home because he barely gives you any time to talk. When I followed up with the office about that, no one ever got back to me on that issue. I would stay away. A very bizarre first OBGYN visit experience. He's a really good doctor

I couldn’t be happier with this practice after going through my entire pregnancy and postnatal care with their staff! I love Barbara, Dean and the nurses. Delivery at Kingston with access to a tub and very attentive staff was amazing! 5 stars. !!

Dr. Bloch has been my OB for 19 years and delivered both of my kids. He is incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful. I trust him with my life (which he has saved)!

He knows what he is doing, is intuitive and knowledgeable, and trustworthy, and this is key for a surgery with the stakes of a c-section, which my wife had performed by him (and will need to do again). Yes doctor Bloch is quirky but I love him. Have been seeing him since he was in healthquest & he delivered my youngest at NDH back in 2013. He is an amazing Dr & he made that whole experience so pleasant unlike the previous experiences that I've had with Rhinebeck women's health/mhmg/mkmg or whatever they call themselves nowadays. Those experiences were horrible & I was treated terribly during labor. Dr Bloch is human & not perfect pple seem to forget that but him/I get along very well. When I was dealing with some serious fatigue yrs ago he was literally the only Dr that cared enough to take me seriously & went out if his way to help me. I will always be greatful to him for the help & kindness I have received over the yrs even through difficult times. He has always treated me like a human being. Thoroughly impressed with Dr. Bloch and the level of attentiveness he has paid to my health. I met him as a patient in the hospital and followed him to his practice. Not only is Dr. Bloch a wealth of knowledge, but the staff at his office are kind and helpful. If you’re looking for a great ob/gyn I would would definitely recommend reaching out. Dr Bloch is the best!!! I really like him. He is very gentle , he takes the time to sit and actually talk with you...listen to your concerns, and treats you with nothing but respect and understanding. He is not a pill pusher like most doctors are these days, which is very important to me, he's very honest..and he has an awesome sense of humor. I've been his patient for a lot of years and I highly recommend him!!! Great doctor...the new office is clean and welcoming and the staff are super nice. Dr. Bloch. Is not only the best gynecologist I have ever worked with but he makes you feel like he is your friend and for your brief time with him he always gives you his undivided attention.........he is a man who truly understands a woman’s point of view.

Dr. Bloch is a wonderful doctor, empathetic and kind yet confident and honest. He listens intently and is very open minded. I trust him to give me only the best medical advice. A True Gem!

This was by far the rudest, inconsiderate and non professional doctor I have ever encountered. My sonogram results showed that my son had an amniotic band syndrome. He didn't explain it, said there was nothing I could do about it and left the room abruptly while I was in tears.Two weeks later I had my son prematurely. Something else, he didn't care to catch. I love Dr. Bloch! He is very direct and his approach is holistic. He believes in identifying the cause of issues and treating nutritionally rather than just diagnosing and prescribing. He is especially great with women who have thryoid issues. The only challenge is that you can only get an appointment months out, and sometimes the wait can be long. I've learned it's usually because he's being thorough with his patients.

Dr. Bloch is beyond phenomenal. He is hands-down the best doctor I have ever encountered, in any field, and I truly believe I owe him both my and my baby's lives. He is so much more than an obstetrician. He provides vast, detailed nutritional support, all based on scientific evidence. He thoroughly investigates root causes and does extensive testing. He is calm and patient, taking as much time as an appointment requires, even an hour. He helped me when no other doctor or specialist could.

I met Dr. Bloch back in 1995, diagnose with PCOS, which it was really hard to get pregnant. Dr. Bloch was tactful, delicate , thoughtful, which women Dr. or male gynecologist should be specially when treating women issues. I'm very grateful that I went to see him, because within a year of his care, I had a baby boy, Javier, 3 years later, a girl. My mother was a patient of Dr. Bloch who only had wonderful things to say about him. Myself now a patient of Dr. Bloch can only say the same. He is one of the best doctors I've had the chance to meet, he takes his time addressing your concerns, very knowledgeable with many medical conditions you may have, really tries getting to the bottom of things and he makes me laugh every time I see him. I feel nothing but comfortable in his office. I highly recommend!

Dr. Bloch is an amazing Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He is extremely blunt but once you get pass this exterior you get a genuine, caring and compassionate doctor. He listens to your concerns and takes the time to provide you with the best information; you never feel rushed. If you're an individual who is overly sensitive then Dr. Bloch is not the doc for you. However everyone else within this practice is great as well including the office staff.

First impression was he's geo-political. Talks about Americanism. He's funny and blunt. Once you get past the doctor's self-introduction, you get passionate and compassionate medical care. His office squeezed me into their schedule one afternoon and it was a day someone called out sick and they were short-handed. I waited over an hour and was still grateful to the nurse who listened to my fears and the medical care I received. The doctor diagnosed my condition and prescribed the right medicine.

My niece, who is a recovering addict, recently went to Dr. Bloch. He told her she's probably like every other dumb American and blames her problems on everyone else. Where is his professionalism, kindness and ability to administer care without spouting out his personal feelings?

Dr. Bloch is an amazing Doc. He actually listens and tries to work with you. He can be blunt but I'm ok with that. He tells you how it is. I have 2 auto immune diseases and he is always willing to learn new things to best help me. I'm so lucky to have found such an incredible Doc.
