Excellent wish I would have done this sooner!

Dr. Soparkar is the best doctor I've ever visited. He takes time to answer all questions, was accessible late at night post surgery and was able to see me within an hour when I was troubled by something. I wish he did more than eyes! Truly a terrific doctor and I would recommend him to anyone.

I am very happy with the surgery outcomes, I look much younger and my eyes look brighter, Dr. Soparker is also very patient and responsible for even a little conern I have about the post-surgery follow up, expeciall about a small lump at the my right eye corner, I feel secure it will be solved finally. he is a very experienced and skillful surgen and would like to refer to my other friends.

Dr Soparkar was recommended by my opthemologist to treat bulging eyes. He was attentive and listened to my concerns before and after surgery.

From the consultation through the procedure, there was no pressure and my expectations were managed to be very realistic. The surgery was easy as was the recovery. I had no pain and no need to take the pain medication offered. Follow up has also been great. Both the staff and Dr. Soparkar are very responsive to all questions.

Again, no God complex in this office. Dr. Soparkar, was kind, professional, funny and very skillful. His entire staff was so helpful and kept me calm by answering all my questions. They all really listen and don't feel challenged when one has loads of questions. The after care is so crucial and they come through. I would use this Doctor over and over. The results are amazing, I have had so many compliments. This place is great for the ego and if you want a new lease on life.

I heard great things about Dr Soparker and his staff and in my experience with them, exceeded my expectations. Everything was clearly and thoroughly explained. Topnotch all the way, Dr. Soparkar and his team are special, from the moment of the first consultation to the post-surgery one, I was comfortable knowing my eyes were in the best hands possible. All I had heard about Dr. Soparkar before meeting him was true: he's the best around for the eyes! Love my increased field of vision (great side effect!) and how refreshed my eyes look.

Was referred to Dr. Soparkar some 6 years ago for lid surgery. Unfortunately, life intervened so it was not until recently that I was able to avail myself of his services. . .should have done it sooner. At my last appointment with him, I was shown pictures that his office had taken of me, pre procedural, in 2016 and in 2021. After seeing this photographic proof, it sank in how his handiwork had effected a dramatic change in my appearance. I had known from the get-go that I needed the procedure, but DAMN! When I made the decision to move forward with addressing the lids, Dr. Soparkar recommended preliminary work on the brows. I heeded his advice and am pleased that I did. As for the lid surgery - admittedly not a walk in the park. But, if one follows the recovery protocols, you'll get through it without too much discomfort. Throughout this process, my interactions with Plastic Eye Surgery Associates staff could be described as nothing but top-notch. Specific to Dr. Soparkar, "top-notch" does not adequately characterize the quality of his work and the level of care provided. I made a mistake by going to this so called surgeon and now I deal with pain , red eyes, dry eyes and no improvement after 2 yrs. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

caring and efficient

I wanted to look less tired and did not like the bags under my eyes. Nothing life threatening or serious. The process was so clearly explained and laid out is such easy to follow steps by the doctor and the entire staff. The whole experience was completely satisfying.

I had 2 surgeries - 1 on both eyes to remove thyroid deposits on each & to keep each from being droopy. The surgery was painless & recovery was not bad. I had to have a second surgery on my left eye because the connecting thread came loose. They corrected this & I had some recovery but it was painless. The entire staff is very nice & knowledeable. One in 4 Million! Dr. Soparkar showed compassion, intellect, experience, humor, and sincere interest in the quality of life of my husband. Jim had been suffering over 20 years , seeing top rated eye specialist without relief of often excruciating and repetitive eye pain. It was Dr Soparkar who noticed the abnormal tissue under the eyelid while removing ingrown eye lashes. It was Dr Soparkar, not eye disease specialist, that sent the tissue for biopsy. It was his attention to detail that lead to the discovery of sarcoidosis. An autoimmune disease that had effected the function of the eye. Yes the idea of sewing the lid shut was out of the box thinking, but it worked ! No more pain!! Quality of life hopeful! Dr. Soparkar discovered sarcoidosis in my husband that no other doctor bothered to find in the past 15 years. A man of compassion, sincerity, untold knowledge. He literally was a God send to us. His creative solution to husband continual eye pain has done what no medication has done! Yes having an eyelid sewn shut sounds drastic BUT IT WORKED perfectly. Stop pain and double vision! Quality of life was Dr Sopakars goal. He has given that back to my husband!

Dr. Soparker exceeded my expectations. I was referred to him for possible thyroid eye and he monitored me for a few years before he recommened surgery. He is an excellent surgeon!

Dr. Soparkar is remarkable at correcting the effects of hypothyroidism on eyes. He has decompressed both my eyeballs and altered the left lid so that both eyes look healthy and alert. Dr. Soparkar diagnosed the unsatisfactory surgical result I had from another provider. He offered me various remedies of different complexities and was fully supportive of my choice for a simple and limited solution. The new surgical result is very close to perfect as I see it, and I am fully satisfied with the result.

I had upper lid surgery done. I was nervous to have eye lid surgery. Dr. SoParker was one of the most patient and nicest doctors I have encounter. After surgery I did have one of more stiches open which is not common but the aftercare and follow-up I got from the office was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Parker and I wish I had my lower lids done at the same time but will come back next year to do that procedure,

A dermatologist removed a skin cancer on my eye lid very close to my eye. She was concerned about closing the wound so close to my eye and sent me to Dr Soparkar. He and his office were very professional and performed the procedure withoutany issues. Six weeks after the surgery you could not even tell I had surgery. He and his assistant were extremely attentive and responsive and caring. Even to the point of returning calls personally after hours and patiently dealing with my concerns. He seemed just as personally invested in the outcome as I was and very kindly addressed each and every concern throughout the healing process and some tweaking. I am pleased with the final outcome and he certainly did a good deal of “hand holding” along the way which helped immensely.

Dr. Soparkar is an amazing physician. He talked to me about my eye condition before anything and educated me. He also directed me to a series of videos he made and made sure i understood before proceeding. After i was comfortable he then performed a surgical procedure and it healed so nice and I am beyond happy and feel very blessed that he was able to be my doctor. During the whole process he always was a phone call away and also the weekend I got the surgery I had one question and he answered his phone immediately. He is very kind, sincere, amazing and he truly cares a lot and dedicates himself to the service of others. I am also pursuing medical school and he offered to help arrange if I want to do a rotation with him and learn more and like I said, he really does care about every single of his patients and beyond! I went to see Dr. Soparkar because I was not receiving adequate relief from my BEB treatment with my neurologist. Dr. Soparkar reviewed my present plan of care, changed my medication, adjusted the dosage, sites of injection, and administered the medication. I had immediate improvement of function with the ability to read pages of a book for the first time in several months without the locking of my eyelids. My only regret is in not living in Houston, so he could continue to be my physician, and provide treatment.

This is my second surgery with Dr. Soparker - the first being the result of a biking accident. This latest surgery was to remove excess tissue above both eyelids to improve my vision. I was anxious about the possibility that my appearance would change too significantly (as well as anxiety about surgery near my eyes!). My anxieties (about both surgeries) were unwarranted. Dr. Soparker (and his excellent staff) were very accommodating and provided answers to all my questions. Their recommendations were on-point. This second surgery has relieved some of the tiredness I previously felt in late afternoons, has improved my upward peripheral vision, and surprisingly to me, has significantly improved my overall vision (prompting me to get new eyewear prescriptions for my nearsightedness). Dr. Soparker and staff are amazing. The lengthy process of TED was made much more tolerable with the compassion and extreme competence of Dr. Soparker. He is an excellent Dr and does everything in his power to help you learn about your situation and the process. I would highly recommend.

Of course I did my research. Talked to several friends that had the same surgery,(upper eye lid,) along with other surgeries . For eye surgery, Dr. Soparker won hands down. If you want eye surgery you should go to a person who specializes in that area. Not another excellent plastic surgeon that’s great at neck lifts or breast enhancements. Just sayin’. I had the greatest experience from my first appointment to my recent check up, 2 months out. I am so happy with my eyes. I get so many compliments.
