Do not go to this provider. When I went for my visit, he did not listen to my concerns and rushed me out of the room as soon as possible. He took a biopsy of my leg that still has a huge mark years later. He misdiagnosed my condition and prescribed me a super potent medication that was unnecessary and has caused me side effects for many years. He is not thorough at all. As another healthcare provider myself, my advice is to not go to this doctor. You deserve better.

all he seems to know how to do is freeze everything! If you don't point out the spots to treat, he doesn't see them.

I was under Dr. Van Meter care for a skin condi. for 30 plus years up til my retirement at which time I moved to the state of NC. I couldn't have found a better doctor/person that took personal care of my condition and concern for my health. No matter what if I had a out break he got me in to see him. I've been looking now for 3 1/2 years now for a doctor that was as up to the top of his field and caring as Dr. Van Meter is/was. I sure do miss him and the care he did while I was under his care.

This Dr., and I use this term loosely is rude and very non communicative. During a full body check he just started to freeze off areas without warning. Please tell the patient what you are doing, or about to do. He has no bedside manner whatsoever! At the end he just left the room, I wasn't sure if he was finished or not! I would never, ever recommend this dermatologist to anyone under any circumstances. Please look elsewhere!

Dr Van Meter saved my life by discovered a spot that tested positive for malignant melanoma. Forever great ful!
