Went for a knee replacement check up. Met with my Doctor Charlie Yang which was great as my other knee is starting to show wear and tear so we now have a plan moving forward. Appt. was on time.

Dr. Yang replaced my knee a few years ago. He is so confident, kind, personable and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend him to anyone contemplating joint surgery.

We arrived at the office and had a very short wait to get in. Everyone was courteous and did a wonderful job. Dr. Yang was very nice and thorough with my exam and I will definitely be returning to him when I set up my surgical procedures. I rate the office and Dr. Yang a 5 if that is the top rating.

Dr Yang is professional, attentive and pleasant. He is always friendly and considerate. We appreciate his support and care.

It is the rare occasion that I encounter a medical provider with both great competence and a positive attitude and demeanor. Dr. Yang exemplifies both of those descriptions, and his office supports that process in a courteous and efficient process as well. I moved from high skepticism to extreme optimism about solutions for my osteoarthritis and possible joint replacement. Cannot recommend this doctor & this office more highly.

Dr Charlie Yang is awesome. Experienced, smart, open and friendly, no pressure, a good listener. He inspires total confidence. I recommend him without reservation. And at 79, I’ve seen lots of doctors!

Dr Yang always listens and has great insight to good care. He takes time to make sure I am comfortable with the findings and any steps to be taken in continuing care.

Dr.Yang is the best! First knee injections in many years after a bad experience elsewhere. I didn't hide how nervous I was and he helped me through it!! Everyone in the office that I have had contact with have been wonderful!

Dr Charlie Yang was so wonderful I can tell he’s is really educated and knows what he’s talking about. I am glad I found him. He really knows what he’s doing. Also so friendly and takes the time to go through your x-rays and MRIs together with you. He is so wonderful!

Dr. Yang was direct and very thorough on my upcoming total hip. Explaining the surgical procedure, his approach, type of implant, post-operative expectations and care.

Dr. Yang is a great doctor along with all of his staff. I have been a patient of Colorado Joint Replacement for over 10 years and I had originally seen Dr. Brian Haas. He was also my Mom's doctor. Dr Yang is absolutely the best. He has treated me and family members for years.

You could not have a more personal, caring, qualified doctor than Dr. Yang. Everything in his office runs effeciently and all the care givers are awesome. If you have a question either on the phone or through the patient portal, you get a quick response.

Dr Charlie Yang is an excellent surgeon and has an excellent staff. The whole group is very professional, knowledgeable and very easy to communicate and work with. I would highly recommend Dr Yang to anyone who is experiencing issues with their hips.

Dr. Yang stated to give my life back. In July of 2020, I started having pain in my right hip groin, and thigh. I saw doctors in south Denver at a very well-known sports clinic but I was writing off because I wasn’t the “right patient” for them. At first, they thought I was faking the pain and wouldn’t treat me and told me that I need to see my GP for pain management, but they sure did like to take pictures of my hip. It took about 8 months of back and forth with the clinic to finally tell me that I need a hip replacement. I was sent to another doctor, this time in Highlands Ranch, he would not do my surgery. I was too young (38) BMI too high, and the AVN damage I have is “manageable for most people” come back in 4 weeks and lose as much weight as you can is what I was told. So I did….. and I was told lose more weight, the damage isn’t that bad “most people” live with this and it doesn’t affect their life…. Come back in 4 weeks. I had to quit my job in May of 2021 because I couldn’t walk 1/2 a block without my leg feeling like it’s being cut off. Sometimes the pain would get so bad I would just wish I was dead. A friend told me about Dr. Yang, and my in-laws have both had surgery with him, so I finally called Dr. Yang's office on August 16, I saw him on August 19th, and he said he can HELP ME! I got scheduled for surgery. I had surgery on September 15, 2021. I’m 3 days out of surgery now and I can now sleep through the night. Sit and stand on my own again and be comfortable when I walk with the walker. I live in a second-floor walk-up condo. 19 steps I had to climb on the same day I had surgery. It was slow going up, but I did it with very little pain! I cannot believe he fixed me. The day after surgery I took a shower. This practice is incredible . Appt not hard to get. Staff very friendly. I needed an analysis of some joint issues. Xrays taken in their office were immediately analysed. No surgery needed. Dr Yang very personable and professional gave recommendations for exercise, medication and an understandable overview of my issue(s).

Dr. Yang is great. I had double knee replacement in 2003. (Yes, I was only 38 at the time of both knees being replaced) Yesterday I fell on ice and my knee did a full heal to butt bend. (Very painful) I was able to see Dr. Yang to make sure I hadn't damaged my knee or artificial joint. Thank you for the awesome care!

Extremely talented surgeon. Dedicated to provide successful outcomes and patient Comfort. Easy to understand explains what he will do and what to expect during and after surgery. Has a good team with him and has the hip procedure and process really fine tuned for success. I was very happy with my hip replacement procedure and was walking within an hour after surgery and with very little pain. I am back to walking 5-7 miles a day up and down hill over rocks and rough terrain with no pain or restrictions. This is 1 year after the procedure. I did not have to get physical therapy. LOVE Dr. Yang and his entire staff!!! Had a hip replacement 8 years ago and my life improved 100% by the very next day! Not only is he technically exceptional as a surgeon, but his bedside manner and how he cares about his patients is unmatched. A wonderful experience all the way around!

My wife had a great experience seeing Dr. Yang. He was very personable and was totally on board with her not wanting to have knee surgery at this time. He gave her alternate solutions for now, ask her to return each year for XRAYS, and her waiting until surgery was more needed was certainly her choice. I had my second hip replacement done by Dr Yang, after an unsatisfactory experience and result by another physician at another practice. The process and results were much, much better. Dr Yang is awesome. My recovery from his replacement of my left Hip was free of complications, and his “bedside manner “ is calming. I feel I was talked into having knee replacement when I easily could have waited. It also was never explained once I had the knee replacement it would offset my balance and I would eventually have hip pain. This hip pain could have be avoided if I had knowledge of the imbalance (one leg longer than the other). I also believe Porter Hospital didn't manage my post-OP and time in the hospital very well, since I developed two clots, one in my chest. I wasn't instructed to keep my legs within the inflatable leg pumps. Fortunately, the clots were identify in the hospital by an outstanding nurse 10 minutes before being discharged. I have been addressing issues in my body since this surgery in December of 2015 and I believe this could have been avoided by not getting the knee replacement surgery when I did. Knee replacement needs to be the last resort. Plus, their office made a huge mistake with an outstanding bill of $49 (the insurance company didn't cover ). They never called my cell phone and didn't contacted me, which went against my credit when I went to purchase a house two and half years later. An overall horrible experience. Before having joint replacement; my advice would be to do your homework and only have it if necessary. I feel I was talked into having knee replacement when I easily could have waited. Charlie gets straight to it and resolves the issues. I walked(barely) in thinking my knee would have to be amputated because it hurt so much but turns out not the case. A little shot and the pain was gone. Thanks for getting me in so soon.

Dr. Charlie Yang has a wonderful bedside manner, he is thorough and an excellent surgeon! I had a total knee replacement and could not have wished for a better nor awesome team! When I need the left one done...he is exactly who I will go with.

Fr Yang didn't do a complete knee replacement on my left knee, which is what I paid for. He left the new disc out that helps the patella move easily. The result is that I have more pain with the new knee than I had with the old knee. The joint replacement center won't help. Now I have to go through surgery again, just because he didn't complete the job. It's been over 2 years, the knee just doesn't improve. I wouldn't go there

Love his straight face sense of humor and style, didn't try to sell me on more than was needed, and I'm set to get fixed up in only a month. Can't ask for much more. On top of that, the rest of the staff is happy and top notch, making sure I knew exactly what to expect and when, and involved with understanding my whole health situation before going in. The hospital appeared to be well kept and with wide walkways, though the floorplan does take a bit to get around. My wife enjoyed hot chocolate while waiting. After having a knee revision by another orthopedic surgeon, it was found that dr. Yang did not cement my tibia to the knee replacement. Now I have permanent nerve damage . The knee was done 2.5 years ago. My pain is incredible and permanent thanks to you Dr Charlie yang. And he and his pa’s denied anything was wrong.
