After my 2nd miscarriage in a row, I was in the office shortly after for a follow up and was still not myself, I was crying a little and she told me to stop crying. It wasn’t “stop crying, we’ll figure this out”, it was “stop crying”. It was just incredibly rude and heartless. Would not recommend to anyone.

Had to have D&C procedure. Dr. Gallis was very caring and explained everything. Answered all of my questions. Procedure was schedule quickly so I didn't have to wait weeks to have it done. Results were called to me as soon as her office revived them.

I love Dr. Gallis, she has been my OB since the start of my IVF journey after moving to Coraopolis. She saw me once, then referred me to my IVF clinic and answered all my questions. I was away at the IVF clinic for about 2.5 years, and when I came back to her pregnant, she remembered things about me that I talked to her about before. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. She was super non judgmental about any questions I had that did not fit the normal, and my choices with delivery, feeding, etc. I will be taking my step daughters to her for sure.

Terrible experience! Not trauma informed or LGBTQIA+ friendly! Dr Gallis was 30 minutes late and once she did arrive, I wished she hadn't. She was instantly cold and harsh in her words. As she was going through my info, she asked about birth control. I explained to her I was not on any birth control because I am in a monogamous LGBT marriage (been with my partner for nearly 10 years) and I don't need to worry about my parter getting me pregnant. She then went on to ask a handful of incredibly invasive and irrelevant questions related to my partner. She was incredibly judgmental in her tone and when I expressed to her starting a family was in our future, she scoffed and said in a disgusted manner "it's crazy how people can have kids these days". As if that wasn't uncomfortable enough, I came in for a routine Pap smear. As she was asking me invasive question after question, none of which having to do with the reason I was there, she tore my gown open and began the exam without so much as saying a word about it or informing me what she was doing. After she was done with the Pap smear she stood up and walked away without saying a word. A member of the staff was in the room as well and she was actually kind. She let me know the exam was over and I could sit up. Dr. Gallis was incredibly rough with me during the exam and rude through the entire experience. I felt violated when I left. Could not fathom a worse experience. Please, if you have experienced trauma or are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, save yourself the demeaning experience and find a different obgyn!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gallis! She is the reason why I continue monitor my health everyday!

Dr. Gallis delivered my baby and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. At best she was absent and uninformative in the hospital room, not providing any reassurance, cheerleading, or support. Her bedside manner was cold. At worst, she made a derogatory comment about my body I will never forget, that was painful to hear at the most vulnerable moment of my life. As a health practitioner myself, I can't imagine anyone with such aggression toward her patients being ethically responsible or reasonable to continue to practice. Stay away.

Poor bedside manner. It's one thing to be straightforward with patients but her delivery of information comes off as ignorant and uncaring. She was very belittling.

I do not recommend Dr. Gallis. She made a rude comment to me. She is a gynecologist; not a social worker. Her comment was uncalled for.

Her bedside manner was very good as was the level of care. My only complaint is that it is very hard to schedule with her. You need to schedule several months in advance.

She was easy to talk to, very informative, and very responsive. Her staff was great too.
