Dr. Christine Thao Hoang

They set appointment time for 9:15am. I was there on time and process paperwork. By 10am, I was still waiting for her. They said she was driving on her way. Then she came rushing in. Didn't even spend two minutes with me and tried rushing me out. Felt like she was forced to answer my questions. And then said she needed to make another appointment for me to come back for ultrasound. The whole visit was a complete waste of time. The office itself is run down and disgusting and the staff are not sanitary. Did not use gloves to test my urine sample nor wash their hands with soap. I saw it.

I just saw this horrible doctor today for my pap. I needed a refill on my birth control. I don't even know where to begin. The Dr. said she needed to do a check up to make sure I don't have cervical cancer, I said fine. However I told the doctor I am not sexually active so clearly my lady parts will be tight. They (Meaning the assistant and the Dr.) didn't give me enough time to get undressed, she was rushing, didn't let me talk. When she inserted the speculum it hurt and I said, "That really hurts!" all the Dr. said, "Oh, I'm sorry honey" I'm not sure she even checked properly. They didn't give me a tissue to clean up. Super unprofessional. It's like a conveyer belt. My dog doesn't get treated this inhumanly. She made me bleed and I am in terrible pain. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. C. Hoang. She was rushed, did not make time to answer my questions. I was treated unprofessional and undignified. DO NOT go to this clinic.

Do NOT come here. I spent nearly TWO hours just to see Dr. Hoang. I got there at 8:40am for my 9am appt as a first time patient and wasn't seen til 10:20. I spent nearly 40mins in one lobby of nearly 30people only to be moved to another one for another 20mins. Most people were standing against the wall, that's how full it was. You couldn't really social distance. I waited another 20mins in the patient room only for Dr. Hoang to see me for 5mins regarding my menstrual/fibroid issues and she didn't give me any treatment saying there wasn't a point in doing so. Just to take Midol every 6hrs and to come back for an ultra sound in 6months. ???? I told her I wanted treatment for my PMS induced insomnia too and she just told me that insomnia doesn't have anything to do with my cycles when I know that it in fact does. She said I need to limit phone time before bed and do house chores to get me tired. And she also gave me a rushed out of breath explanation of what fibroids are when I already know what they are, I've had them before. I think they schedule all the patients at the same time only to make them wait 2hrs. Another thing is her dress code as a health care professional isn't acceptable. She had a summer dress under her lab coat showing her cleavage. I've worked in health care before and that's unprofessional. After the consult, Dr. Hoang told me to wait in the patient room so she could make me a copy of a form and a few seconds later a medical assistant came in to ask if I was done with the appt yet so the next patient could go in. I got kicked out and waited in the hall. Dr. Hoang was literally going back and forth from room to room she almost forgot to give me my form. I'm not trying to sound like a Karen but I'm really unhappy with my experience here and wouldn't come back. I also think they need to have more diverse staff that can communicate in other languages with patients besides Vietnamese. Yes there is English speaking staff, but their English is quite limited. I shared with her that I was trying to conceive. She didn’t bother to provide me with any tests besides you should do it every 3 days. I went to a different OB and was diagnosed with PCOS. Her staff was nice but I don’t know how she can be a OB. I did not feel comfortable with her.

This doctor was completely unprofessional. Her name is Christine Hoang. She seeing patient with her long evening gown and her gown was stuck to her chair. She came into see me without listening to my concerns and my pain. She kept on guessing about my pain and said my fibroids and cysts was too small to worry about and that was not the reason for my pain. She told me to go back to see my family doctor and ask for some other test. Total time she spent for me was 5 mins. She didn’t even bother to ask me how my pain and where it located. Bad experience with this doctor! I have never seen such doctor would come to work with a long formal evening gown like she is going to a wedding!

Incompetent office staff. 15 minutes to schedule a new patient appointment. Transferred twice then the person tried to transfer me again just so I can repeat my demographics,Insurance information etc. Claim to not have authorization on file although I have the copy in my face. Prior to being transferred once more, I finally said " that's ok cancel trying to make me an appointment I will go elsewhere!" Bolsa Medical Group is a disgrace to medicine. If you are looking for a physician with decent bedside manners and compassion, I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere. This place doesn't even provide that, specifically Dr. Christine Hoang. I took my mom here for an appointment for a basic procedure and she came out in pain and upset. To begin, there are no such things as appointments (at least if you're seeing Dr. Hoang). We had an appointment at 9:30am and my mom wasn't seen until at least an hour later! Her simple procedure (which I've had done myself) had her in the office until 11am. If an office has appointments, they should be able to regulate and manage the number of patients. Instead be ready to be herded like cattle. My mom had seen another Obgyn physician at this facility and had a horrible experience. She thought switching to another Obgyn would be better. It was not. Dr. Hoang performed my mom's procedure with such rush that through the process she felt excruciating pain. She has never experienced anything like it. My mom had this procedure done before at other offices with both an Obgyn and PA and had absolutely no issues. That's how she knew how bad Dr. Hoang was. She literally popped in, quickly and abruptly did the procedure, and left. She had never seen a physician act so poorly with a patient or perform a procedure with such haste. My mom left her appointment struggling to walk and upset. One bad experience with a physician is an isolated incident, a second bad experience (even worse) with another physician in the same facility, that's a trend. This is a perfect example of a "revolving door" clinic. No quality in care, only quantity in patients. After her horrible experience all my mom wanted to do was just leave. The parking lot situation was a mess. Cars were parked along the loading curb causing difficultly for cars to back out from the parking spot. Just be prepared to do a 10 point turn to avoid hitting any cars. A staff member even said they didn't understand how little parking spots there were for the amount of physicians practicing and the number of patients being seen. After this entire experience I yelped the facility and was not at all surprised that the average rating was 1.5. Dr. Hoang's rating is not that much better, not only on yelp but on other websites. A lot of patients may go here for insurance reasons or because they feel comfortable with staff who speak their native language. No matter the reason, every patient should be treated with compassion and respect. Unfortunately my mom felt she was being treated as an insurance opportunity. I will be helping my mom choose an entirely different insurance plan, all to avoid ever having to return to this facility or interacting with Dr. Hoang again. Made my daughter cry. She was mean and refused to help us or listen to any concerns we had. Don’t go there. Ever.

I really like Dr. Christine Hoang, she takes time to answer your questions and explain procedures.

Will never go back or recommend anyone to this place. They acted rushed the entire time, didn't let me ask questions, didn't introduce herself, and didn't focus on health concerns. Made me very uncomfortable and upset. She was in and out didn't explain or help anything. Will never go back or recommend to anyone. Extremely unprofessional.

She is very to the point. I went for a lump. She told me to use Epsom salt to get rid of the cystitis and prescribed an antibiotic. If it did not go away return and she would lance it. Was gone in a week! She is GREAT! Nice staff. Very clean! Very busy.

Rushes, mean, doesn't listen, OVERLOOKED concerns brought up to her. In and out in 5 min for exam and simply perscribed antibiotics with no idea what was wrong with me. After I insisted on testing or a more throrough exam she said she would look into previous testing with my former DR (I even signed a waver for release of info). 6 months later and still haven't heard from her. Problem is worse, overlooked issues have become worse, Antibiotics were useless, and her office won't return calls.

The staff was very unprofessional . They are unorganized , very rude they seem anoyyed everytime you ask them a simple question regarding health concerns. They speak in a different language around eachother and laugh and joke around while assisting patients, they don't even know how to draw blood with out poking you several times. The doctor her self is friendly but is always in a hurry and never sits one on one to really take an interest in the patient . I wouldn't go back here EVER.
