The doctor seemed to be in a rush, not spending enough tlme with me and never really tolde what my medical problems conslsted of. I will not be seeing him agaln.

Dr Coogan removed my Prostate end of April 2004. His recommending removal of my Prostate perhaps saved my life. Although I was angry about having to wear a Catherter for 17 days. Whenever I think about it ????. I am lucky to be alive. Thank you Dr Coogan.

Dr. Coogan is at once extremely knowledgeable and amazingly caring. I have been his patient for 15 years. His treatment of me (for prostate cancer and it’s follow-up care) has been wonderful. I can heartily recommend him to anyone in need of urological care.

Dr Coogan is okay but his staff is absolutely terrible - rude and unprofessional. They did not schedule my appointment for a CT scan right, and I wasted a day off of work, and a lot of anguish, and still have to go back on another day to get it done. The staff could not care less, no I'm sorry, no help with getting it remedied, nothing. Haven't had good experience with a couple of Rush docs now. Maybe it's time to look elsewhere. It's a shame.

Dr Coogan provided his surgical expertise for a very special friend of mine. Dr Coogan was very professional and thorough in all the information regarding my friend's care and what to expect. He encouraged questions repeatedly and ensure we had full understanding of what was happening and what to expect. Dr coogan was fine at first, untill he refused to send over my request for second ultra sound of return pain to left side. Of possible cyst return. Doctor then refused to listen to my complsint and walked out of the room. Very unprofessional, and was left in the room. Was unsure what was next and i left

Dr. Coogan has first-rate patient skills -- he is caring, comfortable, discerning. He is incisive and efficient during "intake", discussing the patient's medical history and concerns in a very comprehensive assessment. On-line patient registration via a hand-held portal is very efficient -- and Dr. Coogan's focused and timely assessment of Patient needs is very reassuring. We also appreciated the personable assistance of Dr. Coogan's staff. EXCELLENT care and reassuring, caring interactions.

I am alive. Surgery took place in 2004 April a complete removal of the prostate w/reconstruction. I could have chosen watchful waiting. Raymond Morgan Jr 312 505 3243

After a difficult and challenging case, I had a Lithotripsy with Dr. Coogan, Took alot of time to explain the procedure, Instead of kidney stones it was pancreatic stones. It was a case that was outside of the expertise of most urologists, but he took the case, gave me a clear understanding of what the procedure would be, and what might happen. I am very pleased with this Doctor, I would not hesitate to recommend him, He is also very capable of working with other doctors in the rush group

I was diagnosed with a very agressive Prostate Cancer in October 2008. Dr. Chris Coogan diagnosed and did my surgery via Lamproscopic/Robotic. Seven years and 4 month later I am still cancer free. Dr. Coogan saved my life!!
