Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Dale. had rotary cuff tear repair and arthroscopic decompression with debridement of calcification tendinitis (Feb 8th). Dr. Dale answered all questions completely. He explained things thoroughly, in a way that I could understand. He explained all the problems that were present and the procedures to fix them. He came in prior to the surgery and I felt at ease going in. The day afterwards, he personally called to check on me and answer any additional questions. We (entire family, and those I'd told about the operation) were all very impressed by the level of concern he has for the patient. Afterward, the progression of exercises recommended by physical therapists were perfect for getting the mobility and strength back. I'm not 100% yet, but am very pleased. Glad I had the work done, and grateful to Dr. Dale for all.

Dr. Dale repaired my 57 year old meniscus. The surgical team of nurses, anesthesiologist and Dr. Dale was excellent. We are so happy to have a fantastic Orthopaedic surgical center in Reedsburg WI. My wife and I are new to Reedsburg and have had surgical procedures in the Chicago area, there is no difference between the two in care and professionalism. Great asset for us, Reedsburg and the surrounding area.

I had a total hip replacement on the 1st of June. Dr. Dale and his staff and the staff at the hospital and surgery team are great. They answered all my questions and made feel at ease before as well as after my surgery. The care I got/ get from them is the best ever.

I had Dr. Dale for knee surgery and was very happy with the results. He is a very hands on Dr. starting with the first appointment, meeting with me in the hospital during my stay and appointments after. He is very thorough with a wonderful bedside manner. He listens. I highly recommend him and also the Reedsburg Hospital.

Dr Dale and his whole group is wonderful. They spend the time, explain everything and answer question. Had knee replacement surgery 1 year ago. I'm doing great. Dr Dale did an excellent Job.

Dr. Dale has replaced my knee with a Conformis on June 8 2019 and he did a bilateral carpal tunnel surgery for me on June 30 2020. I am very pleased with both surgeries. Both turned out very well. My Carpal tunnel surgeries were a breeze, surgery was at 10:30 and I was on my way home by 12:30. Numbness in hands was gone in 2 days. It's now been a month and I have full strength in my hands and wrists. Staff is excellent and very friendly. Dr.Dale is very easy to talk to, answers all questions fully. Would recommend him wholeheartedly. 5 stars from me.

He messed up my hole surgery I had 1 tendon that was blown out and he didn't move my heal over enough and did stuff to my toe that didn't have to be done but the one good thing he did was explained everything we'll do not recommend

I had a subtalar coalition repair done with Dr. Dale. After seeing numerous doctors that kept telling me I was fine, doctor Dale took another look at my xrays and gave me an explanation to my ongoing pain. Everyone at the Reedsburg Hospital and Specialty Clinic has been nothing short of excellent. Thank you!

I have known Dr. Dale for years. He is a great Dr. & man. His has done surgery on my right foot for arthritis fusing several bones. His has removed 2 ganglion cysts, cleaned out my carpal tunnel, replaced my basal joint bone, and repaired my rotator cuff by reattaching it using a bovine patch and he removed 3 cysts. I tell my Grandchildren that my shoulder "moos" when I move it. He has called during his off time to check on me or to answer a question. I would recommend him for anything you need orthopedic. Dr. Dale and I go back to 2008, when my first surgery was to shorten one tendon, lengthen another, and put a screw in my heel. The 2nd was my foot also the following year a plate with 2 screws, and 2 additional screws. The third surgery was to remove the plate with the 2 screws cause one screw was backing out. I told him not to do woodworking cause he forgot to countersink the screws.

My experience with Dr. Dale, the Specialty Clinic and Reedsburg Hospital were very positive. Dr. Dale and all associated staff were friendly, informative and professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Dale for anyone's orthopedic needs.

I am an 82 year old male that ad a reverse shoulder replacement as well as a carpal tunnel operation performed one following the other in the same day. Dr. Christopher Dale provided me with pain free medical experience. Dr. Dale’s personal examination of my “frozen” arm was done with clarity, empathy, and professionalism. His staff was very attentive to my needs and concerns. The staff at RAMC provided excellent care and comfort during my short hospitalization. Dr. Dale and the staff at Reedsburg Area Medical Center were Awesome! My daughter had a complete ACL tear and Meniscus tear from a sports injury. He did a great job explaining what he would be doing prior to surgery as well as what to expect afterwards. All of her equipment was arranged pre-op and all of our questions were answered. Surgery went well & she is now in physical therapy and on her way to a full recovery. Dr. Dale has a great bedside manner and is fully engaged in all aspects of her recovery. Thank You!

I consulted with Dr. Dale about my knee pain in June. Previously I had been told that I could not have a knee replacement because of an issue with my patella. Dr. Dale believed that he could do something about it and I had a partial knee replacement in August. I appreciate the fact that Dr. Dale embraces new techniques and technology. My partial knee was custom fit and built for me. Following surgery his patients use a continuous passive motion device to help with flexion, as well as devices to reduce the incidence of clots and devices to reduce inflammation. Between the technology and physical therapy it has been easy to take control of my recovery. I also appreciate the attention to detail that includes careful wound closure that requires little fuss by the patient and doesn't add insult to injury by using staples or sutures. I recommend Dr. Dale very highly.

I am a 50 year old female and Dr Dale was my second opinion my first opinion was to have a knee replacement with no other options. Dr Dale said he would fix my knee without a knee replacement not saying I won't need one in the future. He did just that he is a very caring doctor he listens to you I feel like he cared for me and took what I said seriously. He is definitely a number 1 doctor. I saw Dr. Dale for knee pain. He ordered X-rays,MRI and quickly diagnosed my knee to have a Meniscal tear. He then quickly ordered a pre-op eval with another doctor and soon after surgery was scheduled. He clearly explained the procedure along with showing me realistic pictures from the internet to explain what he was going to do. The day of surgery he entered the prep room and talked to me in good humor and asked if I had any concerns or questions and was very upbeat. Quickly after I came to he again entered the room and was asking how I was doing and explained that there was a complete peripheral tear and that he was able to clean that up along with other items that may have been causing my any discomfort. I asked him about my limitations and he explained that pain should be my guide.I never needed any pain pills and biked 12 miles the day after surgery and every day since.I returned to work 4 days after surgery with no restrictions. Awesome surgeon with a great bedside manner!

Dr. Dale repaired my Achilles tendon. He clearly described the procedure, my expected post-op experiences and recovery expectations. I am doing great since the operation and would highly recommend him to others.

Dr Dale listened to my concerns during my treatment with me and never pushed a decision or surgery on me. Once surgery was decided he was compassionate about my allergies and sensitivities and assured my comfort and surgery was a success.

Dr. Dale was great! I had a cam hip impingement on my left hip that was giving me difficulty. He took the time needed during surgery to correct my hip ball, fixed a torn labrum that was not able to be seen in the MRI, and he also cleaned up some other things in my hip as well. He is very knowledgeable and great to talk with. I was nervous before my surgery and he had a very open door policy of being in contact with him. He allowed me to come in for an extra appointment beforehand and even gave me a call a couple times to see how I was feeling. I am about three weeks out from surgery and every day has been better than yesterday. It took a while to get the correct diagnosis with my situation and I am very grateful I finally connected with him.

I had a visit to see about knee replacement in Jan. I liked what he said and the process for the replacement was started. I had the surgery the 16th of April. It was successful and the recovery has been good. I just had my 3 month check-up and everything is good. I am still working on getting my knee to bend easier and going up and down stairs easier.

Dr Dale called me himself to schedule surgery to fix torn meniscus in my right knee. I asked if he could also do surgery on a trigger finger on left hand at same time as knee surgery. He was more than accommodating and remembered a previous conversation, where I had mentioned having more trigger fingers! WOW!! Imagine that a Doctor actually listened and remembered and offered to fix all at same time in one surgery! Thank you so much Dr Dale! Definitely would recommend him. In fact my husband needs a hip and knee replacement in the future we will definitely be back!!

Dr. Dale performed a double bunionectomy on my foot and shortened a toe to relieve intense pain in the ball of my foot. Dr. Dale is a great listener and truly cares about his patient's outcomes and pain. He answered all of my questions and was sympathetic about how challenging the recovery would be (6 weeks non-weight bearing!).

Dr. Dale repaired a ligament in my ankle. He did a great job and made sure I was comfortable with everything before and after my procedure. The nurses were also great. They were very caring and ever so friendly with me and my family.

Dr Dale is an amazing surgeon! I had a knee replacement and I cannot believe how smoothly rehab is going. Dr Dale is also an incredibly nice person and very compassionate towards his patients. Dr. Dale performed a bilateral knee replacement surgery for me. Dr. Dale was very informative about the surgery. Risks benefits and likely expectations. I cannot express how much better this surgery has improved my ability to just get around. I can now do things that I have either avoided or could not do. Like take a walk. I am only 12 weeks after surgery. have been through physical therapy and still do a lot of exercises at home. Every day it gets better and I am very happy that I had the surgery. and did both knees at the same time. Its very nice to have a Dr. that looks you in the eye and tells you like it is. I had some complaints after surgery and Dr Dale was very caring and helpful. Always answered my questions in terms I could understand.

Operated December 16, 2017, he did a rush job on the shoulder replacement severed my nerve where I can’t use my hand and have no strength left in my arm. I was the first out of 10 surgeries that day they forgot to take x-rays and you could tell he just was in a hurry. Instead of enhancing my quality-of-life he ruined it. I can’t type I can’t even hold garden gloves. My thumb and forefinger freeze up. The hospital said it’s no fault of him, But I have proof I took an MRI and nerve test showing that he severed a nerve that will not grow back. Your Nothing but a $ to him. He only saw me for five minutes looked at my x-ray told me I needed a shoulder replacement and I never saw him again, Not before or after surge. His office gave me a tablet with multiple choice Answers. With no place to tell anything about your problem. From the minute I woke up from surgery could not move my thumb . Complained every time I went to the dr office. They never wrote anything downI’m in constant pain.

Extremely a wonderful Dr. With him you were not a number but a patient, he listened and answered questions. I had a severe torn rotator cuff, which resulted in surgery. He explained the procedure and the after care was terrific. He stressed that if there were any problems or concerns to contact him as he was only a phone call away. How many Dr. do that anymore?

Dr. Dale has the most incredible bedside manner, knows the absolute latest techniques, offers many choices to me and explains things so very thoroughly. The staff, Surgery Center and hospital at Reedsburg Area Medical Center are second to none. I cannot believe how lucky we are to have him and these facilities right here in Reedsburg!

Dr Dale performed carpal tunnel surgery for me and he was excellent. He explained to me prior to surgery in great detail how he would perform the surgery, and what to expect. He had a great bedside manner, and answered any questions I had. He personally called me at home a couple days after my surgery to see how I was doing as well. I was nervous about doing the surgery but after meeting Dr Dale he put me at ease. I had carpel tunnel surgery on both hands same time and he was right, I don't regret it. I previously had 6 procedures done on my right knee which were done by Gundersen and Mayo. I was in desperate need of a new knee and had been putting it off for years. I had a conformis total knee put in on April 9th of this year by doctor Dale and it has been a complete success!! I was very afraid and unsure due to my prior experiences with my knee. At age 45 I was severely lacking a good quality of life. Doctor Dale changed all of that! 3 weeks after surgery I was walking on my own without assistance, and am doing fantastic!! I simply cannot say enough good things about doctor Dale. He is compassionate, understanding, honest, trustworthy, and reliable!! My husband also had his labrem repaired in his shoulder by doctor Dale, and he is doing amazing as well! I would definitely recommend doctor Dale to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgery. Dr Dale did a fantastic job on my knee. I had a torn meniscus in 2 places and scar tissue from a previous surgery. I had pain daily with every step I took for six months. Doc fully explained the results of my MRI and the options available to me. He thoroughly went over what to expect on the day of surgery and the days after surgery. The day after surgery the pain from my injuries was gone. There was very minimal swelling, and a small amount a pain from the procedure itself. By day three after the surgery I had zero pain. Dr. Dale call me personally on day four out of surgery asking how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr Dale.

Daughter severely broke ankle in Gymnastics her Senior year and is walking 3 1/2 months later. Amazing surgical technique.

Dr. Christopher Dale did an ankle fusion on my my right ankle, I had so many issues from RA and could barely get around. It was a long time in a cast and lots of therapy but I actually have some movement in it which is not always true. I did everything Dr. Dale and his PA Dan told me and five years later it is still doing great. Also two years later he did a fore-foot reconstruction on my left foot and that is great also. Dr. Dale is an excellent surgeon and I have referred several people to him. He explains it in terms you can understand and the staff is great also! I had a Femoral-Acetabular Impingement (FAI) for many years before anyone recognized what it was. I had problems with this going back to high school and felt it on the foot ball field. Back in 2009 I came across Dr. Dale in 2009 from a referral that my primary doctor gave me. He worked at St. Claire in Baraboo and at St. Mary's in Madison. I had this arthroscopic procedure done to correct my the issue. He said he wish's someone could have done it 15 years earlier as the damage was much worse than expected. I won't bore you with details on that. I will say however that this helped relieve a lot of pain that kept me up every night and was with me in every step of every day. I followed up and did my part. I worked with therapist and then with personnel trainers at my gym over the following 2 years. I can say I have less pain in this joint today at 44 than I can ever remember. The last 5 years i have been able to continue to do things like snowboard and ride motorcycle and ATV all things that caused me great pain in the past. Not to mention I was able to work out at levels I had not and I really feel I am in better shape at 44 than 34. I hit the gym about 5 days a week and do a lot of cross fit weight training. You have to put in your part. Too many people go to a doctor and expect them to fix you. They can only help you and should be looked at as part of your team. You need to take ownership of your team and your health. You are the one calling the plays. I am glad I put Dr. Dale in the playbook.
