Dr. Christopher P. Hayner

Dr. Hayner and his staff are highly skilled and are always extremely accommodating with my schedule. For years, I had issues with my back teeth. When I first started seeing Dr. Hayner, he recognized the issue right away and fixed them. I highly recommend his practice!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hayner's for several years now. Dr. Hayner immediately puts your mind at ease with his calm & caring demeanor. The most impressive part of my visits are that Dr. Hayner and his staff take the time to show you the problem areas, whether they may be on scans or routine appointments, which I have never had a dentist do before. This helps me to know why & how to do preventive care for my teeth, thus motivating me to do so! I never feel rushed or apprehensive about going to my appointments. He & the staff have a remarkable way of making you feel special, like you are the only patient on the books that day. Moreover, they are accommodating, professional and take the time to walk you through each step, creating very little questions regarding next procedure or finances. I could go on for many more paragraphs painting a flattering picture of how kind, professional & wonderful these folks are! I recommend this practice to anyone & everyone that mentions anything about needing dental work!

Don’t let the “in network” designation fool you. This doc charges several hundred dollars for a filling on top of what insurance pays - even though they say they are “in network”. Rebecca (reception) is the most passive aggressive human I ever met. I do not recommend this dentist.

I love Chris and his staff!!! I am extremely finicky with my teeth and Chris always does a fantastic job at keeping them healthy. The staff are all skilled, professional, and very friendly. I recommend them to everyone I know!! Truly the best.

Dr.Hayner is an excellent dentist. I am usually apprehensive about needles but it was no sweat at all. He took the time to make me feel comfortable and throughly explained the process of my procedure. I found him to be professional and truly caring about my oral health. His staff was extremely helpful and friendly too. My sincere recommendation and reference to all is to go visit Dr. Hayner, a wonderful dentist, if you have any dental problem.

Great experience coming to this office, dentist and staff is professional and caring. My wife had an emergency issue and Dr Hayner was able to see her within a day! He is a great dentist and overall person.

Dr Hayner, Rebecca and all his staff are wonderful! They listen to your issues and resolve them with the utmost knowledge and professionalism. Have gone to this dentist for 20 years and have never once had a poor experience. I have referred friends and family over the years and everyone feels the same. Anyone who feels otherwise must just be negative and impossible to please. If you're looking for a great dentist and staff, this is the best around!

I am terrified of the dentist office, but everyone there, especially Chris was so awesome to me, made me feel safe and taken care of. I will never go anywhere else for dental work. Affordable, honest, professional, and cool. Highly recommended!!!!

Heavy handed with injections and I have two crowns that weren't seated properly that need to be redone. Never again!

Friendly and professional staff

Effective and fast services. Dr. Hyner and his assistance are one of my best dentist experiences

Below is my first review from a year ago when I had just finished my extensive dental work with Dr Hayner. I just returned from WVU Dental for a cleaning. This was my first visit back to them since Dr Hayner’s transformation. I was certain they would notice the obvious improvement, but I wondered if they would comment? To say the least, they were practically gushing over my result. They repeatedly commented on my teeth! These are the things that 3 separate professionals said over the course of my cleaning: ‘I cannot believe the difference of your before and after X-rays. I noticed as soon as I saw you, before I even looked in your mouth. This is the most beautiful dental work I have ever seen! I’m excited FOR you! Everything is perfect. I cannot find any area of concern or things to watch. Who did this and where is he? I have the utmost respect for him and the quality of work he provides. I’m usually skeptical over general dentistry but this is impressive! I’m sorry to sound cheesy and keep coming back to this but I’m absolutely amazed!’ I was proud and happy before. I literally made 3 other professionals proud and happy for me! I have never been fond of dental appointments but Dr Hayner has restored my faith in dentists. He leads by example and has surrounded himself with the most exceptional & professional ladies. They are welcoming, kind and sincere, always greeting you with a smile. It’s obvious they love their work environment. Dr Hayner went above and beyond caring for not only my teeth, but me as well. Sensing my anxiety & pain, he was so warm & compassionate ensuring that I was comfortable. He was very knowledgeable and professional, answering all of my questions and explaining what to expect. I drove an hour and a half to get to him each time for 6 total dental appointments. He is magic. I no longer have pain. I’m not self conscious of my smile. I can eat and drink without grimacing. Chris and his team are the best. I have been going there for many years. They always work with your schedule and go out of their way to make your experience in the office quick and painless.

I can't say enough about all of the staff I've seen at Dr Hayner's office. They were incredibly helpful and compassionate with my s/o who had a terrible fear of going to the dentist. Her dread of the dentist all but went away after seeing these folks for some time.

A friend referred me to Hayner Dentistry. I highly recommend Chris to everyone I know. Very professional, patient and thorough in every detail. The staff is also exceptional. I always dreaded dentists in the past but it was a painless and positive experience.

Fantastic Dentist and staff!

Dr. Hayner & his staff are awesome! Originally went for a cleaning after moving back to Pittsburgh. He suggested fixing my smile after numerous other dentists messed up my front teeth. I've never had a better looking smile. He explained everything, was fun to deal with and made sure I knew what to expect going in to the several procedures. Dr. Hayner is the best dentist! (and I've had a lot!) Very sincere staff that will squeeze you in and answer any questions or problems you have. Definitely recommend this practice if you are looking for a good, reliable, helpful dentist that knows his work!

Highly Highly Recommend. I had a dental emergency and Chris was able to fit me into his schedule immediately. He made me extremely comfortable despite me being self-conscious about my mouth. He fixed my tooth and my confidence in a matter of minutes. I had to schedule with him to be my primary dentist before I left. Just get there.

I was so sad when my other dentist for about 20 years retired and I couldn't find anyone. I was thrilled when I went to Dr. Hayner. I have been going there now for about 3 years. Staff is friendly and very professional. I had to have some major work done and I was very pleased with the results. I had a new cap put on my front teeth and it looks and feels great.

All in the office are kind and friendly. I am thankful I found Dr. Hayner and his staff. My attitude towards dental visits has defintely improved! Dr Hayner’s work exceeds that of all others I have used. The repairs look and feel amazing.

Dr. Hayner is not intelligent and knowledgeable, he is also kind and caring.

Dr. Hayner and his staff are all very professional and good at their jobs. One hygienist, however, often tried pushing me to buy additional services and products. During my last cleaning, the hygienist tried pushing three different products on me.

Super serves and good talented dentist love them it's like a family

A visit to this office is always quick and can be done on a lunch break. Everyone is friendly here. They also do a great job about working with you. I have been seen same day multiple times anytime I call with an emergency.

The best dental experience I have had in decades. Dr. Hayner is a courteous and accommodating professional. Most importantly, his quality of work has been unrivaled in my own experience. I highly recommend him.

Phenomenal

The most professional service I have ever received in Pittsburgh, these people know exactly how to treat their patients. If I could give more stars, I would!

I've been a patient for 10 years, he's the best ! Can't say enough about how dedicated and caring he is. All the office staff are super great as well.

The nurses are very kind. Appointment was made in a timely manner. The office opens early so i was able to go in before heading to work at 9am. Dr. Hayner is very professional. I went from age 17-23 without visiting the dentist. I went in terrified. I left with a smile and another appointment in a few days to fill one cavity. Rebecca (receptionist) also calls you in 6 months to remind you it's time to schedule another routine exam. Very nice office. The nurses are very kind. Appointment was made in a timely manner. Best dentist experience yet. Just moved to Pittsburgh 2 months ago and had a chip in my front tooth. looked online for dentist reviews and Dr. Hayner has tons of 5 star reviews... For a reason. Staff was friendly and was able to fit me in the morning after I called to make my appointment. Dental Hygienists were very friendly, office and utensils were clean and they explained everything they were doing as they did it. Dr. Hayner himself is a great guy, he fixed the chip in my tooth in a matter of minutes, and it looks perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better job. Been seeing Dr. Hayner for about 6 years now, I've always been satisfied with the service as well as the friendly employees!!

Great Doctor, Great Techs , Great Receptionist just great in every single aspect. It is my third visit to Dr. Hayner office, I had cleaned my teeth twice and I had Crown fitted in , as long I am in Pittsburgh I will continue going there.

Went in for a check up, cleaning, and x-rays. Everyone was very kind and very gentle. They offered me additional options without being pushy. The office was modern and extremely comfortable. The pricing was reasonable. Recommended!

Best dentist office I've ever been to. I switched from my old one because of missed appointment fees, overkill surgical procedures, and just sleazy advertising practices pushing Listerine and weird expensive cancer screenings. This office, on the other hand, was professional, clean, modern and just very pleasant. There are TVs (which I didn't care for), massage chairs, the nurse Jill was wonderful, and the tooth examination was as easy and well explained as it ought to be. A true breath of fresh dentistry! I am from New Jersey but was attending a convention at the Pittsburgh Convention Center when I cracked a tooth that required emergency dental repair. We located several dentists near the convention center (Dr. Hayner is only 2 blocks away). After checking on-line reviews, we chose Dr. Hayner. I can only add my comments to others saying how wonderful he is. Not only did he squeeze me in between sessions at the convention; he had me back in time so I did not miss anything. And all this while still taking time to explain my options thoroughly and make me feel like a valued patient even though he knew I was just passing through.
