I was a little skeptical (well, a lot skeptical) getting male hormone treatments from a women's center. I did it because my wife told me how knowledgeable DR. McGuirk is on the subject and understood my frustration with previous treatments. I have tried others over the past decade, but have been frustrated at the lack of actual medical knowledge in the field and that hormone treatments seem to be wide ranging. I went to the first appointment, Dr. McGuirk talked to me like a man about man things (was a little shocked at a women's center). He gave me the non-technical overview and then dropped the knowledge when we got specific. He explained that many providers do hormone treatments, but forget that the body processes at different rates as you get older. SO my treatment was about the testosterone as well as the body processing it instead just showing increased numbers. As I inquired more, he did give me a couple of research avenues on the subject being that this therapy is so new in the medical field. I am not just going up on my numbers, my body is actually using what it is getting and I am feeling better. This is not a magic pill for all my worldly problems, but my 50+ year-old body is definitely feeling younger, for sure. I would recommend Dr. McGuirk to anyone, yes, even recommend men to go to a women's center for treatment. He has many men patients, so I am not the first. Amazing doctor, with the best beside manner I’ve ever experienced.

Dr. McGuirk delivered both my daughters and today he saw my youngest, 14 years later, as a patient for the first time. His care of my pregnancies was above and beyond my expectations and his care of my daughter was exactly the same. He has a fantastic bedside manner, he is a true listener and healer, takes his time and addresses any and all issues without looking at his watch or making you feel like a burden. If he encounters an issue he can't tackle on his own (which is rare) he will work until he has found someone of the same caliber that can. Very pleased with my first visit with Dr. McGuirk. I had all of my questions and concerns answered, and Dr. McGuirk made went above and beyond to prepare me for all of my future plans of having children, etc.

Dr. McGuirk is an excellent OBGYN and a master in hormone replacement. He has been there for me through a difficult miscarriage as well as many laughs and joy of a healthy birth to now hormone replacement. His experience and knowledge provide an excellent package for women of all ages.

Best Dr ever he's, very patient and understanding . Dr McGuirk has no issue being direct and firm about health concerns. He also makes sure you understand everything about each visit. Dr. McGuirk has been my OB for all 3 of my pregnancies. He has always been a good and attentive doctor. He gives me plenty of time to ask questions and express concerns, he gives me lots of information about what is going on with my health and he genuinely cares about his patients. Being pregnant during COVID has presented a unique set of risks and challenges and Dr. McGuirk has remained honest and research-based. Dr. McGuirk is an amazing doctor! His bedside manner was great. He was my doctor during my high risk pregnancy. He monitored me closely my entire pregnancy. He answered all my questions, took my concerns seriously, and safely delivered my premature daughter. She and I were both safe and he checked on us every day in the hospital until we went home. Dr McGuirk is awesome! He is straight forward with diagnosis, informative during pregnancy and treated me very well throughout my pregnancy. Went through a couple of traumatizing moments in pregnancy that I probably couldn’t have handled without Dr McGuirk.

This was the first time seeing a different doctor since 1998. I have previously seen the same Dr. Battaglia until he got sick and recently then passed away. Going to a new Dr. He had big shoes to feel. And big expectations from what I've previously had as far as care. And I loved Dr. McGuire. He was recommended by Dr. B. nurse. When I need to call the office, I am always able to get my questions answered or when leaving a message, it is always returned. Dr. McQuirk takes the time to listen to you, reviews your case, and my visits are always thorough. Their system of appointments, notifications, reminders, emails, and the patient portal are easy to navigate and well appreciated. Dr McGuirk is an amazing doctor! I had been seeing my previous ob/gyn for 22 years and he was too caught up in his surgery practice to pay attention to his patients. Dr McGuirk listens closely and is compassionate and works with you to resolve your concerns/problems!

I've been a patient for over 13 years. I'm extremely satisfied with my physician. He has assisted me through 2 pregnancies and 1 miscarriage as well as a hysterectomy and hormone therapy. He is approachable, understanding and spends time hearing my concerns. He is always discussing new technologies or treatments.

I found Dr. McGuirk about 5 years ago after my gynecologist of 34 years retired. I never thought I would find another doctor that was as good as my previous doctor but Dr. McGuirk is amazing. He listens to my questions, answers all of them, lets me vent about issues and never rushes me. He has a great bedside manner and manages to make me laugh. I’m fairly young and had a traumatic experience years ago when I went to the gynecologist. I stayed away for a long time but needed to get a check up done and found Dr.Mcguirk. The entire experience was hands down amazing. It wasn’t uncomfortable because he made witty jokes and made me laugh. I’m an anxious person and was terrified but it was over quickly and I called my mom and was like omg I love him! He’s great. I strongly recommend him. His staff is very friendly too. He is the only doctor I've ever had that listens carefully without rushing and tests to see what causes your problems. He is always kind and caring, putting patients at ease. I refer all the time as does my daughter.

I was very excited to choose this Doctor for my delivery but seems like the OBGYN appointment coordinator is hard to get a hold of ... I called twice on different days and occasions and I did not get an answer, the third time I left a voicemail and she did return my call leaving a voicemail but I was unfortunately not able to answer so by the time I returned the call at 4:28p the facility was closed. Finally I spoke to her this morning and pointed out I left her a voicemail just to refresh her on who I was but she rudely stated how she left me a voicemail as well and I didn’t answer, after that I proceeded into scheduling as a new patient and she stated Dr.Mcguirk was not accepting any new patients which seems odd because there’s post on Google about him accepting new patients daily and also on the Methodist page. This man is blessed by god!! He is an amazing Dr. he helped me and my husband get pregnant with our son 2 years ago, and he is my DR. currently for my current pregnancy . He is amazing because he gave me the opportunity to have a VBAC with my son and it was very successful

I had the best experience with my C-section for my second baby: from the OR prep to the operation to the recovery I felt totally at ease due his his kind demeanor and constant awareness. If you're lucky enough to get an appointment with him go for it - I'll continue to see Dr. McGuirk down the line and would recommend him to anybody (especially first time moms). Dr. McGuirk is definitely one of the best! His bedside manner is awesome and he makes you feel comfortable and at ease asking any questions. He jokes a lot (which I found to ease my stress) but is serious we needed. I had a difficult labor and he helped me through it every step of the way. I would highly recommend him!!

Dr McGuirk is very approachable and makes you feel at ease. No question is a dumb question and he answers them fully. Dr McGuirk is a pretty funny guy, but is very serious when the situation calls for it. I trusted every decision he made for me and my baby completely. He delivered my breech baby via csection and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Dr Mcjerk has the classical god complex and knows everything but upon the actual findings he was dead wrong about the diagnosis he still failed to admit his wrong observation and conclusion he still tried to wiggle his way out of it.
