Dr. Meyers is very knowledgeable. A compassionate doctor, that doesn't mind spending time if you have questions or don't understand things.. I would recommend my friends and family to him.

I am writing this review in the hope that others will not needlessly endure the frustration of a doctor who doesn't care how long his patients have to wait to see him and when they do, get very little useful information concerning their condition. He prescribed Metformin for my condition, but he didn't explain about any of the side effects associated with Metformin, so I didn't make the connection with several symptoms I started having until the day before my next appointment with him. When I finally got to see him, I told him I had quit taking Metformin and because I was having several side effects listed on several medical websites, including the Mayo Clinic. He said that the only 'real' side effects were diarrhea and nausea. To which I said, Yes, those are two, but there are several others. He immediately got extremely upset and shouted at me, "Are you going to let me treat you or the websites?" I told him I had tried for three different times, but I was tired of having to wait for hours to get a 5 minute consultation and no real help or helpful insight into what I needed to do to improve my condition. He said, "If that's the way you feel, there's the door!" So I said, "Fine." and walked out. This doctor has no ability to discuss patient concerns unless the patient just blindly goes along with everything he says. He can't deal with questions about his treatment decisions or his personal actions. Don't waste your time with him!! This doctor is my mom's doctor and very disappointed in him. He doesn't seem to care about my mom and doesn't get back with her about her problems with her sickness! It's sad when a doctor doesn't care or return your calls! I will be making sure my mom finds a better doctor who wants to find out what is wrong with their patients and has some compassion! Not good experience. Takes forever to see patients, doesn't thoroughly explain medication and treatment and is very sensitive to questions concerning his diagnosis and treatment plan. Very unprofessional!
