I saw Dr.Urban for Mohs Surgery. I was a little nervous coming into the procedure, but his explanations during every step of the process put me at ease. He and the entire staff were great!

Dr Urban and Ms. DJ were wonderful. They made me feel like an individual not just like a another patient. Dr. Urban listen to me took his time did an awesome job explaining my condition. They were very kind and knowledgeable.

Great experience from the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor. All were personable, efficient,and professional.

Dr. Urban was great. He explained details of the upcoming procedure thoroughly and was very patient in answering all my questions. I would definitely recommend him to others.

He is the best! I have been to him twice and you can bet should I need more Mohs surgery, he will be the one to do it. I will not go to anyone else. Dr. Urban is the absolute best.

Dr Urban is very professional and caring. He explained what was going to be done and reviewed all results.Dr Urban performed 2 days of biopsies to make sure margins were clear and then an extensive surgery to remove a melanoma on my shoulders and back. As a nurse, I appreciated how he and the nursing staff maintain a sterile procedure each time. He and staff were always available for questions or concerns. I never had any infections during the past 4 months of healing.

It always begins with a receptionist, wait time, supporting staff, and then doctor and assistants. In each category I give a 5 star plus rating. Everyone strives to make your visit the best, less stressful, most productive as possible. Dr. Urban outperforms in explanation of each procedure before and during the operation.

Dr. Urban is a Rock Star!!! He basically had to rebuild my nostril and did so very methodically and explained ever move. He is a true professional with a soft, caring side. He is an extremely gifted doctor and a kindhearkind soul.

Dr. Urban is very professional and takes the time to explain every detail of what the procedure entails and what to expect during healing process. The office staff is very friendly and we always find our office visits to be a pleasant experience.

I have been a patient of Carolina Mountain Dermatology for well over 10 years. Yesterday was my first encounter with Dr. Urban who did a Mohs procedure. Having had my first basal cell carcinoma in my early 20s (I am in my 70s) and numerous excision, frozen sections and Mohs procedures since I can only say that Dr. Urban ranks, in my opinion, at the very top professionaly and not only that he is very kind person. I have seen many dermatologists over the past 25 yrs. Dr. Urban and staff are the best I have ever seen. The level of expertise and professionalism is top notch. Combined with caring and compassion, my experience was actually very pleasant and painless.

I refer to Dr. Urban as my Rock Star because he has the skills of a fine plastic surgeon. He has done two MOHS procedures to remove basal cell carcinoma on my nose. I feel secure that Dr. Urban removed all that was necessary to assure he got all of the cancerous tissue, and I am amazed at how well and quickly both sites are healing. Dr. Urban is kind, patient and highly competent. His supportive staff holds him in high esteem and so do I.
