Dr. Clarinda Burton-Shannon

Like many OB GYNs, this doctor is only concerned with women as fertile incubators. Asked me if I had/wanted kids, which I don't and never have, and then proceeded to ask why not... As if that wasn't bad enough, she allowed a MALE doctor/nurse inside the examination room without my consent or at least asking if I would have been okay with it in the first place. I specifically went to a female OB GYN to avoid this. Reading other comments, I see that the same doctor has also treated other patients with even worse insensitivity. DO NOT GO HERE.

Dr. Shannon Burton is nice enough however, doesn’t really pay attention to her patients or their needs. She rushes through appointments and leaves you with more questions than answers. I saw her at a time when we were trying to conceive and struggling. I all but begged her to help Za me figure out what was going on and was sent on my way to figure it out on my own. After changing OBs, I learned I had textbook PCOS that either Dr. Shannon-Burton missed or just didn’t care to look into, either way it’s poor practice in my opinion.

I'm very satisfied. For it being my 1st visit . She has already done more this visit to help me, than any other I have been too.

I was absolutely amazed with how put-together this team is! From the front office and throughout the visit, it was a phenomenal experience. I'm not a fan of my annual "lady-doctor" visit, but her office and the way she conducts business is out of the park in my opinion! The front office actually communicated the information that you have to fill out on the first time paperwork, the doctor actually retained it and talked to me about it, and unfortunately that's not usually the case in other offices. My visit was smoother than I even expected it would be, the doctor did every bit of the medical work in my appointment (SHE did the blood draw- like an absolute pro, might I add, because I'm always so difficult to draw blood from). I was just mind-blown by the time I left because of how courteous they were, and the fact that the physician herself did the ground work that's usually done by an MA, RN, etc. I hope they don't change a thing, because this place gets a million stars if you ask me!

She was unprofessional, unprepared and it over all was a horrible experience. I wish I never came here.
