I met Dr.Looney for the first time last Friday. It was like I knew him my whole life. Dr Looney was caring,listened to my concerns, very knowledgeable and just a all around great Dr.

Hello, Bone and Joint Institute, is a lovely environment, for all their patients and staff members, I was greeted, and seen in and out thoroughly, they are good people and I enjoy the atmosphere, and really cared for the patients their,thanks for my visit and also recommended people to go there and get check out,because, they care

It was a great experience and I'm very comfortable with my choice of having Dr. Looney do my total knee replacement. He came highly recommended by several people that I know. He explained everything and was upfront and honest.

Reviewed my case before he saw me and listened to me. I would send friends and family to him

Dr. Looney and his staff make an outstanding team!!! Highly recommend! He was extremely thorough with his assessment and explaining the next steps in the process. I felt at ease leaving & knowing we are on our way to fixing my current injury. Thankful for the outstanding communication, and warm/welcoming environment! ??????????!

I don't feel like the problem was looked at or fixed. Doctor looney wasn't a bad doctor I just think they hire lazy help. It feels like they just put a bandaid on it and hoped for the best. Bad experience twice in a row. Hope they do better next or I'll go somewhere else.

Professional, courteous staff. I was x-rayed, tested and the results were explained to me. A treatment/care plan was devised. The injection into my knee was barely discernable. Thank you.

My visit was excellent! The professional care of all the staff was much appreciated! Every person who shared a part in my time there was happy ????. That was a huge factor in my enjoyment! Thanks to Dr. Looney for explaining clearly my medical report, suggestions for future, and for his genuine care & concern!

Dr. Looney was very caring and took time to talk through options with me. We decided on a path to healing together and took a very conservative approach first.

Everything that day was crazy due to the icy weather but the entire staff worked hard to get everything and everyone taken care in a professional manner. Meeting Dr looney was enjoyable as he explained the procedure and answered my questions I have confidence that he’s and his staff are the right choice for me. I’ll update my review after TKR next week.

Don’t bother seeing him if you are an overweight, middle aged female. I begged for help with pain and difficulty on the stairs due to years of damage from patellofemoral arthritis. He barely spent 5 minutes with me, blew me off and told me I’m too young for a knee replacement. Did cortisone shots and didn’t even hear me out. Well a few months later I fell going down the stairs. Tore my quad tendon and muscles off the knee and needed a very painful, emergency surgery with a long painful recovery that I feel was completely avoidable if I would have been helped with my knee pain. In my experience, very few doctors care about middle aged, overweight females. We do not matter to anyone.

Dr. Looney Is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I saw him for hip pain after struggling for years with foot pain and wondered if the two were connected. He immediately identified that at least my hip pain was coming from my back and possibly my foot pain as well. He gave me some good information on the condition of my back then ordered an MRI & referred me a back Dr. & also a foot Dr. I admire when a doctor will admit that they don’t have answers to your specific problem but will refer you to one’s who may. I felt well cared for.

This was an initial office visit to address shoulder pain. Dr. Looney listens intently, rather than talking over you or thinking about what he’s going to say next. You get the sense he doesn’t jump to conclusions and wants to gather all the facts before starting to form a diagnosis. Full Disclosure: I went to see him because he took care of my Mother, Father & then my Wife, and they had the same experience. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Got the info I needed. Doctor Looney answered my questions, laid out potential options concerning my issue.

Dr Looney and his team did a superb partial hip replacement after my 87 year old mom broke her hip.We appreciate his dedication to his field. Also the orthopedic 4th floor staff has been great. I knew Dr Ferrell back when he started this group on west main..he would be very proud of how far his dream has come.

Dr Looney performed my hip replacement on both sides! This means that I underwent surgery twice with Dr Looney and both were 100% successful and went as Dr Looney prescribed. An excellent surgery who takes the time to answer all your questions and is conservative in his methodology My wife who was having knee issues also saw him and he told her no need fir surgery And instead prescribed physical Therapy so he is not cut happy. A true doctor!

Absolutely love Dr. LOONEY!!! He always takes time to thoroughly exam and provide detailed diagnosis with treatment options. Wonderful physician!

I am the type of patient that is very particular on doctors. If I feel uncomfortable, unease, I sense not paying close enough attention to our discussion of my visit, I will not return and find another doctor. But I am very satisfied in all areas with Dr. LOONEY!!! He explains very well, ask questions for sure, and shows he really cares about the patient and their ailment. Dr.s are extremely busy and have a lot on their schedule but a "good" doctor still gives time and concern for the patients no matter what. When you go to visit Dr.Looney it’s like you are part of his family he is a great person at work and away from work. His employees are also great.

My family has been going to Dr Looney for 14 years. I would not trust anyone else with my Ortho needs.

Dr. Looney has taken care of my orthopedic needs for quite some time and I wouldn’t have it any other way! He is kind, caring and VERY professional!

Really liked Doctor Looney at Bone and Joint in Franklin TN. He was super friendly, very informative and obviously interested in my knee issues. He’s also the first doctor who explained to me the likely reason for skin numbness and occasionally sharp pain in right knee from an injury in Vietnam 55 years ago. No one ever explained it to me before and it was such a simple explanation. Then he also injected cortisone in both knees to ease the pain I’ve struggled with for at least several weeks. Dr. Looney is very knowledgeable, very professional and very friendly and nice. The staff are very friendly and scheduling with them is so easy. I definitely recommend doctor Looney for anyone who needs Orthopedic care. He is wonderful! I had a great experience at my first visit.

Even though the reason for my visit was not pleasant; Dr Looney’s presence made it better. He and his staff were friendly, efficient and best in class with experience! Takes the anxiety of surgery down a few notches to know that I am under his care.

Achilles repair went perfectly. Just been cleared from all follow up. Comfortable all the way. Dr Looney is an amazing doctor and person.

After a careful review of my X-rays and examination of my knee, Dr. Looney took the time to explain his diagnosis and create an excellent treatment plan. He listened and answered all of my Q&As. Very professional and thorough but it was also nice to engage in some cheerful banter. I would definitely recommend him to my friends with similar problems.

He is a caring DOCTOR, the hip infection was the best I have had. My bursitis is better.

I was able to check in on line, which was quick and easy, my wait time was brief. Everything from X-ray to diagnosis was thorough, and Dr. Looney was precise on instructions.

Dr. Looney is amazing!! He explained everything so well and made me feel “heard” with the pain I am feeling!! I have all the faith that I am in great hands going forward:) Highly Recommend Bone and Joint Institute and Dr. Looney 100 percent!!:)

Dr Looney took care of my son when he had knee issues and we were so impressed with his knowledge and bedside manner. When I recently needed help with my shoulder I knew right away I would go see Dr Looney. I cannot recommend him enough.

Beautiful facility. Appointment was on time and went smoothly. State of the art technology. Dr. Looney took his time explaining everything on the X-ray images and did a thorough exam on my daughter. Excellent service. I highly recommend him.

I've been through the wringer and even an unnecessary surgery on my hip with a terrible doctor. But Dr. Looney is the opposite of terrible. A caring bedside manner may not be what makes a patient well, but true compassion for patients is, in my experience, too rare in the entire medical field, surgery being a practice that needs compassion greatly. Dr. Looney brings compassion with his skill set. He'll advise you strictly based off of what he believes is best for you. He is not quick to suggest surgery to fix a problem, and will weed out all of the more conservative options before turning to the operating table. I cannot recommend Colin Looney enough. I had a great experience all around. The facility is state of the art and easy to get to, with plenty of close parking. Check in and registration were mostly completable online with a short verification at the window. I was seen on time. All tests and x-rays were done in-house during the appointment which saved a ton of time. Dr. Looney was great too; quick with a diagnosis, but took his time explaining the problem and treatment. A couple of weeks out now, he was right on and the treatment has worked. Can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend. I had a great experience all around. I went to Dr Looney for pain in my hip. He was wonderful, really liked him and my hip is doing great now. Every doctor I’ve seen at the Bone and Joint institute have been excellent. I also take both of my parents to see Doctors there, would highly recommend Dr Looney and the bone and joint institute!

Dr. Looney has excellent bed side manner and is obviously invested in his patient. He was kind and put me at ease and didn’t rush me through like so many other doctors do. I thoroughly enjoyed the visit and look forward to seeing him and his staff again.

Been going to him for several years. He is the total package. Tells you like it is. He doesnot forget who you are. Has done two rotator cuffs, knee replacement, and reverse shoulder replacement for me. Very knowledgeable, polite, and thorough. I have reccomended him many times . I would travel out of state to see him, if I had to.

Waited 30 minutes for knee injection. One was very painful. I am not needle phobic and decided to see another physician. Getting injections again and so far a much better experience.
