This was my first appt. with Dr. Nix and I was in terrible pain. He spent a considerable amount of time with me and discovered the problem, I was quite impressed the doctor.

Great doctor

Great doctor very thorough and very family-oriented and caring. Staff and facilities are excellent. Could not ask for nicer people.

Very caring. Takes time time listen to his patient and wants to hear what his patients concerns are, and tries to fix the root of each problem. Which is a great quality which is why I chose him for my family. And he will be truly missed. We wish him the best on his retirement.

Great experience always

Would not recommend for female patients.

Dr. Nix took extra care/time with our mother after her recent hospitalization. He listened carefully to my description of her hospitalization.

I was a patient of Dr Nix for 20 years. My trust in him and his treatment methods has diminished. He likes to throw drugs at the symptoms instead of finding the under lying cause. So very disappointed in him. I have since found a much more capable physician.

He figured out what was wrong with me the person before him just guessed at stuff and was wrong on all of it

Dr Nix is very caring, actually knows his patients and will spot any changes in health even before the patient sometimes. Very thorough about your overall health and keeps track for you of when various tests (mammo, colonoscopy, etc) are due. Very well rounded and knowledgeable in overall patient care. Does not rush you--akes all the time you need and really cares about his patients. Biggest drawback--he will likely retire before I die and I'll have to find a new doctor and Dr Nix will be extremely hard to replace : [

I would highly recommend Dr. Nix. He is very caring about your whole health. He also knows what it's like to be a patient because he had heart surgery.
