I took my mother-in-law to see Dr. Knox for a follow up visit on her Alzheimer’s diagnosis. He was very unprofessional and to say he lacks compassion would be putting it nicely. He has no bedside manner which in my opinion is highly needed when dealing with the elderly and Alzheimer’s. He more or less called me a liar about what he had told us in our previous visit. I went for a consult for restless leg syndrome. He immediately labeled me as drug seeking which I am not. He was so rude, condescending and did not listen to my concerns. He dismissed my RLS stating I don’t have it because I describe it as pain. RLS is definitely not his speciality. I will seek care from another Dr that is more professional and helpful. I wrote a previous review stating the treatment I received from Dr. Knox and Nurse It was not a good review because of their rudeness and respectfulness. I had my second visit today and it was totally opposite. Maybe they had bad days. God knows I do. Today was pleasant and informative. Good visit all the way!

I have been to several Nero's over the years and Dr. Knox always takes time to listen to me and treats me based on what is going on. I appreciate a professional that takes time to listen to his patients.

Two members of my family see Dr Knox. He is friendly, kind, & respectful to my elderly mother w/ Alzheimers. She had been going to him for 2+ years. He explains every detail of her care management & is always accessable for problems or questions. My other family member has received excellent diagnostic and follow up care as well. First off my visit started that my husband wasnt allowed in the room while the procedure was going on when I seen other couples going in together but that is minor then I receive a bill for services that was not performed and also my $50 copay wasnt shown anywhere that I payed that day and when I called to have this explained they said they would send a detailed statement out to me explaining charges which explained nothing I went in for an emg test wasnt there maybe 15-20 min and they charged for one test in the spinal area which they never touched my spine they did test on my wrist one charge was over 600 and one was over 400 after they robbed my insurance company then i receive a bill for $148 still wow worst experience I have had with specialist and trust me I have been to alot but I wont be going back to this one for nothing....... Dr. Knox was extremely rude and verbally abusive to my mother who is in the beginning stages of dementia. I was stunned at his demeanor, just because she speaks slowly and has a hard time answering questions. I promptly got her another neurologist who didn't speak to her like she was an imbecile.

Dr. Knox and his staff were very friendly and helpful. My initial consultation was completely explained to me and I was told about different treatment options. I would highly recommend Dr. Knox.

Dr. Knox has been my neurologist for most of my 23 years with MS. He listens and realizes that I know me better than he does. I've always been given options, and allowed to make my own decisions. He never acts like I'm too ignorant to understand what he thinks about my situation

He has always been kind and very helpful. He is very thorough with his questioning and is helpful in every way. Only once did I have to wait extra time. Things like that happen sometimes. Paula Avery

He was 45 minutes late with no apology. He was rude, condescending. My wife was with me and he totally ignored her presence. In my opinion, he needs to go into research and not deal with patients.
