Dr talwalker is awesome does great surgical work ...however his surgery schedule an some office staff leave little to be desired ...they do not get back to you unless you call 3 times an then get another office staff member to get with them ...this needs improvement.!

His staff and he are personable and cut to the chase. My new knee is working perfectly and after 5 weeks, this 80-year-old man couldn't be happier. My pain levels were down to highs of less than 8 after the first week. After 5 weeks, the highest pain level is less than 5. I recommend him for knee replacement!

Dr.Talwalker is hands down the absolute best! He and his staff are very professional and truly care about the patient.i would highly recommend him

Dr. Talwalker saved me, I’m 36 years old, I had a severely impinged ulnar nerve in my left arm and had no use of my left hand for almost 3 months. His nurse practitioner was terrible, her name was Catherine Hutchinson, she tried to tell me I needed physical therapy and at this point there was nothing she could do. I had to push her to see the surgeon and luckily it was Dr. Talwalker. He recommended immediate surgery and I’m here 3 months later able to type this review holding my phone like normal. I’m still at only about 90% healed and may not get full use back, but I’m thankful. Nerve damage takes a long time to heal and the longer a nerve is impinged the worse the damage gets. Catherine Hutchinson would have hade me permanently disabled. He is an amazing doctor. This doctor is unprofessional and doesn’t care about his patients. He’s more of a paycheck doctor. He made unprofessional comments regarding a patients pain.

Very nice doctor that listens to me and my concerns. So far he has been Awesome doctor to me. He is professional and takes pride in caring for his patients.

I was riding my bicycle that just had new brake pads added, coming across an intersection while breaking they locked up and sent me over the handle bars, fracturing my elbow, very close to the joint. Dr Talwalkar did my surgery, a plate and five screws were required to fix the break. His surgery, coupled with my Physical Therapist got me back to complete mobility of my arm and elbow. Dr. Talwalkar is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. The office staff is friendly and helpful. They filled out all my work forms. My appointments were always on time. He takes the time to talk to about more that what he's treating. The surgery was very well communicated to me on my last visit before surgery. I highly recommend Orthopaedic Surgeon, Janak R Talwalkar, MD and his staff. Dr. Talwalkar is knowledgeable, professional, kind and caring. He takes the necessary time to properly evaluate and treat, so you don't feel rushed. I plan to see Dr. Talwalkar for all future injuries and orthopedic problems. I'm so thankful my rheumatologist, Kelly Cole MD, referred me to him.

Dr. Talwalkar is such a competent and caring professional. He is knowledgeable and inspires confidence in his ability to successfully resolve any issue. He takes his time with patients and listens to them with full attention. He performed CTR surgery on me and PERSONALLY called me the next day (a Saturday) to just see how I was doing. Very seldom do I leave feedback, especially on a physician. I have been one of Dr. Talwalker patients for years, as my orthopedic doctor. He is very carrying and will go out of his way to make sure his patients are taken care of. He has a humbleness and professionalism that I only wish other physicians would adopt. He isn't the type of doctor that just wants to operate but will try more conservative approaches before he even considers that option. Dr. Talwalker provides both professional and personal care. I have been a patient for many years and for different ailments. From minor injuries to one major surgery, he has provided the upmost care. His explanation of injuries, treatment options, recovery and emotional support overwhelmed me. Even though he is no longer in Danville, I will return to Dr. Talwalker's practice in Lexington, KY
