27 years ago Dr. Lovett repaired my 10 year old daughters arm. She went off a horse and had a compound dislocation of the right elbow, it was hanging by shreds of tissue and we thought she would loose that arm. Dr. Lovett did surgery; my daughter had a full recovery, better than anyone expected. She barrel raced, was a rodeo queen, rode working cow horses. Today, 27 years later, she is an accomplished horsewoman, team roper (heeler) works in the energy industry here in Texas, and leads a full and happy life. THANK YOU DR. LOVETT!!

I am 48 and had bone on bone in my knee. Dr Lovett looked into options for me and was candid about my age being a factor with knee surgery. In other words because I'm young, they typically wont do anything other than cortisone shots. After reviewing my xrays and listening to me about my lifestyle and career (I'm a massage therapist), he recommended a total knee replacement. His staff and nurse Candice were wonderful. A month later, I had a new knee. I listened to instructions and did my physical therapy as prescribed. 3 weeks later I'm able to return to work. I had minimal pain during the process and am off pain medication. Dr Lovett gave me a new lease on life, it was up to me to work to get it back to snuff. Yes it hurts. Yes you still need to do your physical therapy. Yes this dr did an exceptional job and I have already recommended him to others. He is no nonsense but kind. He is no bs and straight forward. If you need coddling hes not for you.

I have been seeing Dr. Lovett for 12yrs. or more. I have had many procedure's done so of course I think he is great. I enjoy his bed side manner and his since of humor.

Dr Lovett did both my knee replacement surgeries in 2015 and 2016. He did an excellant job, and I've never had any problems. I was also able to stay in Avalon rehab for added physical therapy!

Very knowledgeable

Thank you Dr. Lovett...You have taken care of me in the past and when I went to see you yesterday, you made me feel like a person and not a part of my anatomy ! After seeing you, My recent experience with the doctor that screwed up my hand, gave me the incentive to go to UC Davis and get it taken care of once and for all .. thank you for your concern and thank you for being so honest and referring me to an expert in the hand field..You get an A+ plus plus plus plus plus plus from me!

In my opinion, after working with him in the OR, his ego far outweighs his skill. After working in the industry for about 10 years, he is the least skilled surgeon I have seen.

He screwed up a carpal tunnel surgery on me. I had to have a second surgeon finish the job. He also did not want me to get off my blood thinning medication before the surgery. My anticoagulation specialists at VA were incensed, when they heard that.

With Dr Lovett you get deep and trustworthy expertise, state of the art medical technoloy, genuine empathy and truly likable personality. With Lovett you'll love it.

This is 3 years late, but I ran across his card and decided it was my job to post this review. Dr. Lovett is highly intelligent and used it to listen and HEAR what I said. He made choices and asked me my opinion before he implemented them. Choices like surgery or injection for pain? Go home after surgery or go to a rehab center? The surgery went seamlessly. The rehab was not an ideal one, but my progress at recovery was spectacular. I would not hesitate to choose him for another surgery. Thanks!

Dr Lovett is the best.

Dr Lovette has my vote for Dr of the year! I went to see him with knee pain, he told me what he would do, and did it. Very pleasant experience. I recommend him 100%.
