Dr. Dagmar R. Arnold

She really does care. I love her!

Dr. Arnold is the best of the best. I have been seeing her for over 10 years now. I hate to think I what I will do when/if she ever retires!!!

If you value your physical and mental health DO NOT make an appointment with Dagmar. I’m surprised to read that people think this doctor is detailed in her work, I am concerned for those patients who have seen her for years and trust that this woman is doing her job correctly. My experience with her was the exact opposite, she is required to deliver the same standard of care to ever patient but she did not. I sought the care of Dagmar after my insurance changed, I’ve had thyroid complications for several years. She ordered labs and ultrasounds which all pointed in the direction of thyroid cancer (one bloodwork lab she requested was to measure the speed/growth of cancer) SHE IGNORED ALL OF THESE RESULTS. She told me I was fine and I should follow up in six months. Thankfully I know my body and know when something doesn’t feel right so I got a second opinion- they did a biopsy and found thyroid cancer all over both lobes! Now more than a year later I am going through the process of treating this cancer and autoimmune disorder (which she also failed to diagnose) when it should have been addressed and treated when she received the results. The other reviews of how she speaks to patients in a bully, condescending, inappropriate manner are all true. I experienced that first hand- to the new patients wondering if they should seek her care, I advise against it. It is not a bad thing that she doesn’t sugarcoat information, that isn’t the issue, the name calling and abusive language she uses throughout appointments is what I wish someone had warned me about before going to see this doctor. A+++++ Dr. Arnold has been my physician for 17 years. She is extremely professional and extraordinary with her attention to detail and thorough diagnostic testing. She takes her time with her patients and answers all questions brought to her. She is a no nonsense physician who does not sugarcoat anything, which makes her a breadth of fresh air. She knows her specialty and keeps her patients best interests first. You could not find a better physician. She will call patients with test results and thoroughly explains them. FANTASTIC PHYSICIAN A+++++ Dr.Arnold has been my physician since 2005. She is extremely professional, incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. She takes her time with her patients and has their best interests at heart. She is a no nonsense physician who tells it like it is, a real breadth of fresh air. She explains all test results by calling patients and takes her time to ensure they understand the results. I wish all my physicians were as knowledgeable as her!!!

I had a wonderful visit with Dr. Arnold yesterday. She is an attention-to-detail doctor. She explained some things about my health that I wasn't aware of. She made suggestions on how to improve my medical situation and I am TAKING HER ADVICE. Folks-if you are in need of an Endocrinologist, I encourage you to contact Dr. Arnold. I walked into Dr Arnold's office, several years ago. After a discussion & examination, I walked out & NEVER walked in again. She was rude & inconsiderate. No ability to deal with people. I was so angry & upset that I refused the pay the $41.00+ bill. Do not ever go into her office!

She is a good doctor. Tells you what she thinks she needs to. She doesn’t have a bedside manner to speak of but who cares. I follow about 20% of her recommendations because I’m skeptical of doctors (as a nurse) but she doesn’t seem to mind.

She's a straight shooter which is what I like in a doctor. She's not going to sugar coat anything for you. I've seen her for a few years now, and she's been a great help. I read some of the other reviews and think some are not fair. If you have an issue outside of her specialty, then see someone else.

Do NOT visit Dr. Arnold!! I have never been so disrespected in my life. She is insulting and then claims that she is only "telling people what they need to hear". So my problems w fatigue, swollen knuckles, daily rashes and hair shedding that are already frustrating enough, can be cured by being told that I am just an "American princess with no real problems." She will ask you personal questions in the "pre-interview" and try to use any vulnerabilities, including break ups, to attribute to any physical illnesses you may have. She became unusually mad when I asked her about adrenal fatigue research I found (tossed my phone on her desk!). I have no reason to make this up. She's a frustrated old woman who doesn't have up to date knowledge and will get mad if she finds out Google taught you more than her doctors from the '70s did. Classic bully, do not waste your time. I agree that Dr. Arnold can be EXTREMELY honest about obesity and lacks the warm and fuzzy personality. This could be due to culture and where she comes from. However, she is highly intelligent and very thorough and I trust her with my health. It is very hard to find a good physician who really knows what they are doing and not so quick to get you out of their office. I would rather give up the warm and fuzzy for intellect, strong knowledge base and thoroughness. Before you walk out of her office, you will have a customized document that explains what her potential findings are and a summary of what was discussed. FYI and this is not a technologically savvy office and co payments in cash are required. Just to let you know, this review is coming from an inpatient registered nurse of 19 years. Dr. Arnold has been treating me for 6+ years. She is meticulous about detail and does whatever labs and examinations are needed to make a best treatment decision. She explains all her decisions and provides copies of all test results and recommendations at the end of each visit. My initial visit was one hour long, and subsequent visits have been half an hour each. Dr. Arnold can be very firm on issues such as weight loss, but her overall goal is for me is to have the highest quality of life possible. I have found her to be far more understanding about drug side effects than some of my previous doctors and far more willing to change treatments if necessary. She has referred me to other doctors several times and takes great care that her referrals are to experts in their fields. Dr. Arnold has been treating me for 6+ years.
