Was scheduled this appointment through my work place insurance company. Have never worked with Dr DeMordaunt but would recommend his service. Very helpful in letting me know what I need to expect with each procedure he was about to preform.

Great experience.

Dr. DeMordaunt was great, very professional & nice. Took the time to talk to me about what was going on & very thorough. It’s a busy office so I had to wait for about 15 min after my appt time to be seen, but overall they’re great & all staff was friendly.

First visit, a pleasant experience. Kept me informed as the test was given and results and recommendation. Made an appointment for me to see a surgeon.

Dr. DeMordaunt, listens, thinks outside the box and even calls you personally on the phone. I was told by another orthopedic surgeon that I had a pinched nerve in my neck but it would be 6 weeks before I could be treated. Dr. deMordaunt got me right in and realized I had shingles not a pinched nerve. He still took care of me. Treated my shingles. Did not send me off to another doctor. Dr. DeMordaunt is always kind and upfront. He doesnt sugar coat anything but explains things nicely. He tries to resolve the problem as quickly as he can but admits when he doesnt have a solution. Dr DeMortdaunt doesn’t care about patients. He didn’t believe me when I said I was in pain from a work injury. Told me I was “to young” and “faking” in my records, found out because I pulled them. Got a second opinion and the first doctor I saw, said “This case is to severe, I don’t feel comfortable treating you so I am going to refer you to Dr. Dee.” Two surgeries later, I’m finally starting to feel like myself. Unsympathetic and doesn’t listen to needs. Waited 45 minutes to be seen, then he left the room to take care of something for another 7 minutes ~no apologies for either. I went to him with Chronic back pain and headaches- my previous doctor for this no longer accepted my insurance so I was hoping to continue my established therapies and get further help. He suggested a nerve block, drugs and exercise. I have told him Of my exercises, how my established therapies help and multiple times I don’t want drugs, but a more effective way to alleviate And fix the problem. Empathic and readily available. He’s helped my family multiple times and it’s always been a good experience!

If you don't mind living in near debilitating pain, neither does Davis Ortho/SportsMed. This office is exactly why doctors should not venture into business. Here's a biz 101 tip, doctor: call your business phone number once in a while and see if you like what your customers hear. Their phone system seems to be set up so you cannot talk to someone, and just to be sure, they do not reply to messages in anything close to a timely manner. "Oh, she's on min time today." Nice, but my spinal stenosis is not on mine time. I need things done is a timely manner so I can spend the least amount of time in excruciating pain that is getting worse by the day. Stuff sitting on a desk for another day means I spend another day with pain in the 6 to 8 range. They bill at professional rates, I pay professional wages, now I expect professional service. I'm done with Davis Ortho. I would not recommend them to anyone because, while the doctors might be capable, the business aspect is horrible.
