Amazing Dr.! Great staff! Little pricey on the eye glass. Would highly recommend!

I got an eye exam and glasses in March. Called in Aug to order contacts and was told I needed to come in for another exam. I of course do not have time for that and did not understand why I was not fitted for or went under the appropriate exams in March to also get contacts. I just called now at the first of Sept to get another pair of glasses and lenses and was told I yet again needed another exam. I believe exam for glasses are good for a year?! Correct? I am a brand new customer to Blue Springs Optical. Tracy is an extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable optician. Highly recommend this optical shop for its selection of frames and reasonable prices. LOVE my new glasses!

Just spent nearly 20 minutes on the phone with them trying to make an appointment for my teenage son. After having to give them way more information than seemed even remotely necessary (like our social security numbers and much more!) the woman I was talking to about trying to make the appointment kept circling around and coming back to the fact that we don’t have insurance. I had already inquired as to what approximate costs would be and informed them I would be paying cash. I DO have a paying job! I DO NOT have insurance so I have to pay out of pocket for Medical Expenses. I CAN afford to pay for the damn appointment or I wouldn’t have been trying to make one! The questions she was asking were incredibly rude and intrusive. She went so far as to ask me what I was going to do if my son required any additional testing that would be above and beyond the very vague price range ($85-$200) she initially quoted. Well, I don’t know lady, PAY for it? Or make another appointment for later to do any additional testing that I might not immediately have the money for? Am I buying a used car from you? Do you need me to sign in blood? I finally told her to forget about it, I would make an appointment elsewhere. Preferably with someone who doesn’t feel entitled to judge people over the phone! I am only one of millions of uninsured people in this country. You have zero right to look down on any one of us. My 14 yr old son saw Dr. Wilson. He was able to relate to my son very well with his concerns about being a football player and maybe getting contacts. He to played and was able to ease his worries and feeling about contacts.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dana Krause for the last at least the last 10 years. Her professionalism is amazing. She sees the whole person not just my eyes. The education about my eyes that she has provided has been most appreciated; as the education has assisted me to take better care of my eyes!

I have seen Dr. Wilson for nine or ten years. He helped me prepare for LASIK seven years ago. My kids have all been seen by many of the doctors. I would never want to go anywhere else. The ladies at the front counter are all very helpful and friendly!!

Dr Krause is patient and sincere when working with my daughters. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and thoroughly explains the benefits and corrections needed for their eyewear. I highly recommend doing business with this awesome group!

Hands down the best place for eye care. The staff is so friendly, I love how when I’m choosing new frames the assistants are always honest with what looks good on me and have never been caught up with just making a sale! :) they are genuine and caring all the time!

Not only do I love my new glasses, but I love that they helped me pick out frames that look good on me and compliment my hair color and the shape of my face. Their staff is friendly, helpful, and seems to care. I am impressed all around and will definitely be a repeat client.
