Danielle Hickman is a good doctor. He cares about you and he’s got a nice personality. I recommend anybody to go there.

As a patient of Dr. Hickman for over 20 years, I feel qualified to say he is compassionate, kind, and considerate. He listens to his patients, and represents Ascension Sacred Heart extremely well. He is professional and competent, I hope he remains at Sacred Heart for many years to come. I trust him!

I have been a patient of Dr Hickman for over 20 years and have absolutely no complaints of his professional and caring treatment.

My experience was very short and disappointing! The website says you can schedule appointments online. Don’t bother because there isn’t any availability for any appointments. So I called. Website clearly says “accepting new patients” …. The receptionist asked me a few questions and said if I am accepted I will receive a call in a week. If I don’t get a call, look for another doctor. Your website doesn’t need to say “accepting new patients” because you clearly are not. I have worked in the medical field myself for over 30 years and have never experienced anything like this. Hickman has treated my father for most of his life and has treated me for the last 10 years of my life served in the Marines and is an all around stand up guy not a complaint to be had . How ever the staff is down right terrible they make taking phone calls a chore and are quick to make what should be an easy process extremely difficult . I've been with Dr. Hickman forever, no plans on going anywhere else.

I have been seeing Dr Hickman for well over 20 years maybe even longer the time escapes me, but he is the ONLY doctor I have ever been to that will take the time to LISTEN to what is wrong with you. I cannot say enough of good thing about him. If you want a doctor that will get to the bottom oy your problems definitely go and see Dr. Hickman, you will not regret it. Staff fails to respond to messages left at the office. Staff fails to code paperwork properly for lab insurance coverage.

He listens. He works with you. His staff will call you - back or to inform.

I have been going to Dr. Hickman for about 20 years. He is very patient with me, listens to what i am telling him and very thorough in finding out what it wrong. I've recommended him to several people.

He's a liar. I have an AARP United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plan. He has himself list on my insurance's website as accepting this insurance. But when I tried to schedule an appointment with him, I was told that he would see me because I was on Medicare! That, after waiting a week for him to decide he wouldn't take me as a patient before he ever saw me. He may have the education to be a good doctor, but it seems to me he is completely lacking in compassion for people when he arbitrarily decides to accept a patient because he doesn't think he can get paid enough for his services by the patient's insurance company! Great Dr. Very patient!

The best Dr in the state of Florida. Dr Hickman is very friendly and very thorough.

My wife and I are writing this to let others know what an asset we feel Dr. Daniel Hickman is to the Sacred Heart organization. At ages 76 and 77, we have had many primary care doctors in our lifetimes and Dr. Hickman is by far the best primary care doctor we have ever had. He listens to all that is bothering us, he asks excellent questions, he takes the time to explain why he is giving the advice he is giving to us, and he is compassionate and very caring. Importantly, we have found that his medical knowledge is pervasive and excellent and his diagnoses and subsequent treatments have always been right on the mark to cure us. We are so confident in him that we made our mother and our daughter and her family his patients as well. He is truly one of a kind. We would recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional primary care doctor.

New to the area and tried to make an appointment for my son and I was told I would have to wait five days to see if the Dr would want to see him as a patient and they told me to take him to urgent care while we wait. My parents, who are both retirement age, have used Dr Hickman, for as long as I can remember. They referred me to him. My first visit was in January 2011. I had not been to a Dr in about 15 years at this point. He took the time to listen to everything that I had that was bothering me. He said there were a few things we could start treating that day and others we would re-visit at our next visit. He was Wonderful. I figured here I was a 39 year old woman who he was gonna think was pill sealing. One of my chief complaints was depression and anxiety, weight loss from the depression and restless leg syndrome. He listened and he helped me. I have been with him as my Primary Dr since then. I don't go as often as I should, but when I go, he remembers me and helps me with whatever my issue is. Dr. Hickman and his staff are amazing. They take care of three generations of our family, yes three. They take the time to listen, ask questions and explain answers to any questions we may have. They have always treated us with respect, been timely in response and make us feel like they genuinely care about the well being of our entire family. I would highly recommend them.

Dr.HICKMAN always takes his time with you! Always answers your questions and is the most helpful and intelligent doctor we have ever had. His demeanor is always very calm and listens. The staff, meaning desk personnel and nurses are very very nice.

He stepped up and took care of my father after a bad experience in pensacola. My father was almost dead. Thank you for taking the extra time to care. Hopefully he is on the way to recovery No more va hospital, primary care physician is important
