My father was a patient of Dr. Sica for approximately 3 years. I wasn’t overly impressed and he talked about the same patient-related stories regarding diet every time we saw him. Four months ago my father was hospitalized for what we thought was going to be something minor. My father struggled greatly and was in and out of hospitals and nursing homes for rehab. This went on for four months. Not once did Dr. Sica or anyone from his office follow up or call to check on my father. When my father came home for hospice care Dr. Sica’s office said he does not follow up on care for hospice patients. Excellent primary care doctor. Caring & very professional.

Dr. Sica is a great doctor. I would highly recommend him to others. I have been going to him for over 30yrs.

Not a review on the doctor, but the staff. First impression was not up to standard. Called the office for a new patient visit. Could not hear me clearly. Hung up and called again. Same person - Liz- picked the call and said she did not speak with me when I said I just spoke . Said date is Nov for new patients - I saw date of Aug 24 online. Abruptly, Liz says Book it there. I was a patient with this practice for many years before I moved out of the area. I have seen Dr. Sica when my normal doctor was unavailable and when there was no other choice. I saw him on at least 3 times. Dr. Sica is a very knowledgeable doctor. His bedside manner leaves much to be desired. If you are an over weight female patient, Doctor Sica is very discriminatory against you. He talks down to you and honestly makes the situation worse. The other doctors in this practice are wonderful and I have heard other patients speak highly of Doctor Sica but I had a very different experience. The sad part is that other female overweight patients I know have had the same sort of complaint with him and the practice. It is a horrible thing when a doctor looks down upon you....the person you are looking to for help and assistance.

Dr Sica is a fantastic physician. He is tough about keeping your weight in check, but his knowledge and caring is fantastic. Great doctor.
