Dr Southern is a great surgeon and he really takes the time to fully evaluate your situation before making recommendations. He doesn’t give you false hope or make promises of an outcome that can’t be guaranteed. In my specific case, I went to him for a spinal stem cell procedure. He told me the percentage of success and what the procedure could help with and what it couldn’t based on my situation. He makes sure you have all the information that you need to make an informed decision as to whether to move forward or not. My interactions with him were highly professional, he was sympathetic to my specific case and he was honest about potential outcomes. If you’re looking for a doctor who is honest and who truly cares about his patients then this is your guy. His team is also wonderful and they make sure to take care of your needs and work with you making sure all your questions and concerns are dealt with. I highly recommend them and Dr Southern.

Doctor spelled the name of a common joint incorrectly many times. He told me that his stem cell procedure would fix many of the orthopedic issues I was having but when I got a second opinion, I learned that was literally impossible. Very expensive procedure, you must pay before getting treatment, insurance is not accepted. Please do your research before using this doctor.

Outstanding! I was very impressed with Dr. Southern. I spent 30+ years in EMS and I am very particular about the doctors I see. Dr. Southern took a considerable amount of time examining me. He did not rush at all and was very thorough. Dr. Southern felt confident that he could relieve my back pain ( A result of my EMS career) which is preventing me from sleeping at night and had me scheduled for a MRI which I just completed yesterday. I will be scheduling my follow up visit very soon.

Clean office and very organized staff. Dr Southern took all the necessary time to examine and review all my symptoms and concerns to come up with a game plan. Did not feel like a “number” like so many other offices. Staff was very efficient.

I had carpel tunnel surgery on my right wrist and was going to need it on my left. I didn't want to have surgery so I consulted Dr. Southern instead. He performed a PRP injection on me. I have had no pain, numbness or loss of control in my hand since then. It's amazing. I am still having trouble with the wrist that I had my surgery on. I wish I had known about this years ago. Dr. was great. Very Attentive and didn't feel rushed out of the office. He answered all my questions.

One of the most arrogant doctors around. He couldn't make it in Hollywood but will try and cash in on your body should you let him. The reason second opinions were invented.

Dr. Southern is a God send. I suffered for months with sciatica from herniated discs . I finally went to Dr. Southern who was in the same group with my Ortho and within days I was pain free. Love him.

Dr. Southern was the only Dr. who was able to alleviate my back, hip and leg pain. Had seen many Dr's before him with no success. He's extremely knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend him.

I have been coming to Dr, Southern for at least 10 years. He has kept my pain levels manageable through very accurate steroid shots, pain medicines, and physical therapy for arthritis, broken bones, and spinal stenosis and many disc issues. He sometimes is in a big hurry and only likes to focus on one issue at a time. Other times, he stays longer and explains what is going. happening to my body. He is personable and mostly cheerful. He is very good at pin pointing the cause of pain. He shows me respect for my consistent handling of my pain management. He shows interests in my activities.

The most painful 3 day procedures I have ever experienced. No follow-up call, email or text. Never heard back now going on 9 weeks from procedures. I can only hope the procedures are going to work.

Dr. Southern is very patient with me. He knows that I have a low tolerance for pain and is aware when giving me trigger point injections. He never rushes ... takes the time to explain what is causing the pain.

Dr. Southern demonstrated both professionalism and compassion regarding my course of treatment relative to my pathology. The Regenexx treatment has resulted in significant reduction in pain and improvement in function. Great alternative to major surgery!
