Outstanding experience starting over a year ago. Tried non surgical methods to help with severe hip pain that worked for almost a year. Finally scheduled surgery. Top notch staff using the best, most current methods. 10 days out, incision was healed very nicely and little pain from day 1. Never cut a muscle.

Only get to see a PA and he won't listen to me or respect my feelins. The staff refuses me appointments and makes the decision on whether or not I have a problem that needs to be seen by him. The docotor that did my first knee was awesome and it went so well this has been devistation for me

I walked up and down 2 miles round trip and NO PAIN !!!! Dr Scales is the best !!! I had knee pain for over 8 years snd due to being the care giver for my parents I had to wait till I could get the operation and have the recovery time . Now the recovery on my first knee was great ! No pain !!!The second knee had more pain but that’s over with snd I have my life back !!! Might be slower but I can walk up a mountain and back down !!! Knee replacement in December Now torn meniscus in r knee. Dr scales, dr Garcia and Jill are great. They have been a great team. They are polite, courteous and always there when I call.

After years of experiences with a myriad of orthopedic doctors, we finally found "The One." Dr. Scales was on time, to the point, and no-nonsense. He provided his opinion, gave me options with pros/cons, explained processes, and answered every question I had. His professionalism and confidence exude so much that there was immediate trust on my part. After years of dealing with knee issues with no defining solutions, I think Dr. Scales will be able to take care of me in no time. I will continue with him and will not hesitate to recommend him. Shelley, at the front desk, was so warm and friendly. I felt very welcomed and appreciated. Danielle, the doctor's nurse, was thorough, friendly, polite, and patient. Wholeheartedly, I can admit that I have not experienced this level of medical service in quite some time. This office should be commended. Prepare to be there for awhile before you see the doctor. I spent over an hour in the examination room and never met the doctor. I was on time for my appointment and left after being there 1 hour and 15 minutes. Wasted my time not seeing a doctor and lost 30 minutes of pay due to being late for work.

Dr Scales and his entire staff are wonderful. I would highly recommend him and his PA Nathan for any Orthopedic concerns or problems you are having. Their office staff is also very professional and friendly.

My knee replacement with Dr Scales couldn’t have gone better. I never had to use the cane I had bought. In two weeks I was back to driving and my normal activities at a slower pace. I continued rehab and followed their exercises daily. I have had five surgeries four with Dr. Walker and one with Dr. Scales. The surgeons and the staff are incredible. The doctors recommend whoever is the best for the job not who you've come to necessarily visit. The nurse practitioners are exceptional. The new Braselton Hospital that they're working out of is incredible- both the staff and facilities. That's why I drive an hour from my home and passed a couple of different hospitals to have anything surgical done there. I have had five surgeries four with Dr. Walker and one with Dr. Scales. Doctor Scales and Kevin have performed three surgeries (two shoulders and a knee, all full replacements, and another shoulder replacement is in the works They have all been outstanding and changed my life (pain relief) At West Point he is a 4.0 !!!! His whole staff is wonderful !!!!! Especially Wendy who has a most difficult position juggling Doctors patients and hospitals!!!!! !!!!

Scheduling nurse (Wendy) has a horrible attitude. After waiting 5 days with no call or follow-up, I had to call them to get a surgery date. Her response was I am very busy, I have three doctors I work with Attitude went down hill from there. Bad way to start the patient/doctor relationship.
