Lymph node transplant (self donor) & 2 micro bypasses on arm with lymphedema post bilateral mastectomy & bilateral dissection (8 years with lymphedema). My arm, hand, fingers & left side of torso was 3 x normal size. Within the 1st year post procedure arm was 80% to normal size. I stopped wearing custom day & night compression garments for lymphedema at the 1 year out post procedure. At 2 years out 100% normal size. At 6 years out 100% normal size. I traveled over 700 miles for a procedure LVB. It's been a month and so far the results have been better than I ever thought possible. Dr. Chang and his staff were absolutely professional and accommodating.

For God’s sake don’t do it ! He doesn’t care! I have lived with the results of his surgery, and if the University of Chicago really cared they would not promote him! My life was bad post cancer surgery, but I didn’t know how bad it could get till I let him cut me!!!!

He really doesn't care. Never explained to me anything clearly even though I properly do the homework my appointments and ask clear questions. He roughly spend 5 minutes for every appointments (even though he charges heavily). This happened even after the surgery. He might be a good surgeon, but definitely the worst and impatient doctor I have ever met during my life. You should be ashamed of being a doctor, Dr. Chang.
