Very good doctor who takes the time to explain things to you.

I just had a vasectomy given from Dr. Godfrey. As a male you worry about how painful this experience can and could be. However, I had no pain at all. Dr. Godfrey did a wonderful job and made me feel very comfortable for this experience. Also, the knowledge and experience he has is a plus. I definitely recommend Dr. Godfrey for vasectomy, I had wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience. My daughter, who attends the local college became ill at school on March 22, 2016. The nurse sent her to the emergency room. I called and spoke to the doctor on duty. They ran a battery of tests and kept me posted all the way. The entire staff was courteous and attentive to my daughters needs knowing her family lived 5 hours away. Dr. Lamar, hope I am spelling it right, had a great bedside manner and great sense of humor and put my daughter at ease. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! Went there a few months back because I had not yet established a PCP in the area and I believed I had a sinus infection. After being told nothing was wrong and I just had a common cold I went to my PCP out of the area because I was not getting better after a couple days. I had bronchitis because of an untreated sinus infection! I gave them the benefit of the doubt whenever I was in extreme pain last night after a hit in the head and decided to get checked out there because my PCP that i had just established here was out of the office for the evening. After the guy who did my triage had left the doctor came in for five seconds did no tests or anything just looked at me and told me that since I did not have any scratches that it was just an acute headache and if I walked in with my legs and arms working I could walk out with them working so I did. I was given a paper that said to seek immediate medical attention if there were signs of dizziness, a headache that would not go away, nausea, and a few others --- ALL OF WHICH I WENT IN THERE WITH ! I finally decided that was it and went to my PCP today to find out I have a concussion and they did a CT to make sure there is no bleed. I wasted money on my co pay for there and my poor insurance had to not only pay an emergency room fee for them to tell me absolutely nothing but they also had to pay an additional fee for me to go see a doctor that knew what they were talking about and to actually get taken seriously! I just want my co pay back and for my insurance not to be billed! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, WILL NOT BE GIVING THEM ANOTHER CHANCE! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! Dr Godfrey has been my and my husband's Dr for years. My experience and comment on him can be said in just a few words 'He saved my life'. My husband's experience was almost the same. Dr Godfrey diagnosed that he had prostrate cancer. We went to Roswell for a second opinion and was told to watch and wait that he would die of something else before he would of cancer. After a month had passed, I run into Dr Godfrey and he asked what my husband decided to do. When I told him he was uncomfortable about not doing anything. He felt he needed to have something done whether it was him or Roswell. We then decided on the robotic surgery at Roswell because of shorter recovery time. After to surgery my family was told it was pristine all went well. A PA saw us on our second follow up and to our surprise showed us that the cancer had started to go through the wall, the surgeon never told us that. If it weren't for Dr Godfrey I'm afraid my husband might not be here either. Since then my husband has had some emergency situations at the local hospital and when Dr Godfrey knew my husband was in the ER he treated him several times even though he wasn't on call. Again, a situation that needed immediate care and he was there. He has always went above and beyond. He calls us afterwards to see how my husband is doing. It's very rare or unheard of anymore to have a Dr do all he does. He is a great asset to our area.
