Probably very intelligent but unable to communicate it to patients

Dr. David Hart is an amazing neurologist. After years with two other neurologists who did nothing to help control my epilepsy, Dr. Hart was able to find exactly the right medications to control them, and I have been seizure free for nearly two decades now, and he has even been able to lower the amount of meds I take. Unfortunately, the star rating suffers because of his office staff. Scheduling an appointment, even pre-COVID, is a nightmare. Getting a script sent to the pharmacy is worse. I've been waiting over a week now for the office to reply to two requests sent by my pharmacy for the SAME script to be sent over. This is by computer, folks. You push a button. It isn't hard. This is for literally life saving meds, but apparently, the office staff doesn't care about trivial things like that. Honestly, if it weren't for Dr. Hart being a superlative neurologist, I would go elsewhere.

Is clearly not in the know about Covid Brain. Don't waste your time here if you had Covid and are experiencing problems

I had Covid-19 along with brain fog. I saw Hart after waiting 5 months, only to be told that my brain fog was not from Covid-19. He sited about 3 articles stating that there was no proof of Covid brain problems. After going to Mt. Siani in NYC, who the doctor there told me in fact there was proof of Covid Brain.

AWFUL my DAD has ALZ he had my Dad on meds that made him have diharrhea and worse to slow the disease down, it did not it was all a money grab and made my DAD suffer!!!!! Dr HART had my Dad driving in 2012 my Dad was lost and the NYSP had to find him and revoke his license In 2012 because Dr Hart didnt take his license away Dr Hart had his secretary tell us at my Dads last appt in 2017 there was nothing else he could do and if we wanted to come in again my Dad we would have to see a nurse DR HART didnt have the decency to tell us My Dad has been in a nursing home since July 2017 This Dr lacks compassion and frankly sucks and is all about $$$$ find a younger more compassionate DR who has your loved ones best interests

I have Parkinson's Disease. I see Dr. Hart once a year and I see his PA once a year. Dr. Hart can be very quiet, but this does not mean he isn't listening. He may not seem friendly because he doesn't chat or smile a lot, but that's not why people go to him. I feel confident that he listens and thinks about what I say. He's not what you'd call "warm & fuzzy". Neither is his staff, but they are not unfriendly, either. I've been going to the Clifton Park office for about 5 years without a problem.

Dr. Hart became rude when his diagnosis was questioned. I would never recommend this doctor.

Dr. Hart listened carefully to my many questions and provided complete answers with explanations unlike other doctors that seem to only answer with short curt replies.
