My surgery was several years ago, Nov of 2000 to be exact. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and was extremely fortunate and blessed that Dr. Hoogerland performed my surgery and follow-up care which lasted for 5 years. His bedside manor and professionalism was always his strong point. I am truly grateful I am still alive (20 years later) and able to tell about my experience with Dr. Hoogerland who actually saved my life. I think he still is the best gyn-oncologist in Milwaukee.

My surgery was several years ago in 2001. I had endometriosis throughout my abdomen. It was adhering to my colon and other internal organs. The doctor performed a hysterectomy. He was concerned about me and watched my recovery with care. I recovered and have felt great ever since.
