Very knowledgeable + a decent human being = very rare combination in itself. In addition he can actually think logically and independently. That's super rare. definitely a good doctor

I just had the worst experience with my former psychiatrist Dr. Hsu in Sacramento. I’m not gonna go into details of my medical history but I left in tears and was told to leave. He was incredibly dismissive of my concerns and chronic condition. Dr. David Hsu lacks any empathy or care and if you need help do you not go to him. This is a serious warning.I waited months for the appointment and I drove two hours to see him only to leave overcharged and in tears. I would recommend nobody see him. He is a harmful doctor who only cares about money and not helping patients. I will give him less than zero stars if I could. Excellent physician. The office staffs are very helpful. Dr. Hsu takes time to listen my concerns and my mental stress issues and try to find the causes and teach me some skills to overcome the problems. . The medication he has prescribed is so helpful. When I had experienced a couple times of mental stress crisis , the office in Sacramento helped me right way and rescheduled my appointment so I can see Dr. Hsu faster. The Dr. Hsu 's office nurse is very helpful too. I described my condition and ask to renew my antianxiety medication, he is very patiently and ensure that he lets Dr. Hsu know as soon as possible to see if that can be renewed and let me know as soon as possible. It is very responsible office. They treat me with respect no any judgmental attitude. I feel that they are there to help me and I can depend on them. Excellent physician.
