Dr. David Paul Jones

Excellent Dr. Jones is upfront and honest. I was referred to him by my Doctor. I can see why some patients would be put back by his philosophy On first visit in 2008, he was very upfront and honest when he told me that he did not provide individual counseling. He went on to explain that I would be partnered with a wonderful counselor with whom I would be carefully matched. I met with my therapist every two weeks in the beginning and my visits thereafter were scheduled to meet my needs, which varied from once a week, every 2 weeks, or once a month. I determined the schedule. Dr. Jones received reports concerning my progress whether it was positive or was I continuing to struggle. I met with Dr. Jones every 2 or 3 months or sooner if I was in crisis. Over the years I was able to to call Dr. Jones directly whenever my depression deepened or my anxiety was taking over my life. I continue to see him today. I owe alot to Dr. Jones and my therapist for helping me.

Dr. Jones is a pill pusher. He does no counseling and is very condescending. He doesn't care about his patients he only cares about money and status. He's killing vulnerable people with all the prescriptions he writes.

Dr. Jones is amazing and truly cares about his patients. I’m grateful that I found him. I’m convinced he improved my life and he may have saved it too. I will always be indebted to him for helping me achieve a sense of normalcy. He’s the doctor you don’t part with.

Their office manager Katie is the coldest, rudest, person I have ever met. No customer service skills. Perpetuates stigma around mental health. Has no problem making inappropriate comments to you. I left the practice only because of her. Nobody deserves to have to interact with her. Don't ever go here.

I’m not sure how a few of these people rate this practice so low. I did not have a psychiatrist and was in a borderline crisis scenario. I called that morning at 930 and Dr Jones gave up his lunch hour to help me and meet with me. His staff were also pleasant and friendly. While some of you wonder if the high ratings are by employees, I’m actually more of the mindset that these reviews are left by people who think they can just tell this physician and staff what and how they’re going to do it. It’s a no games and no non-sense practice. You follow his rules that you sign at visit one, you’ll have no problems. Maybe a little self reflection would do some people good. He is a rude , lies and looks you unappropriately up and down when in conversation. He should be fired!

Fire their office manager Katie. She is the coldest, rudest, person I have ever met. No customer service skills. Perpetuates stigma around mental health. Has no problem making inappropriate comments to you. I left the practice primarily because of her. Nobody deserves to have to interact with her. Don't ever go here. Dr. Jones never asked my side of the story and put in my permanent record that the reason I was complaining about being mistreated was due to my mental illness. It was not until I threatened to get the state involved that they released my own medical records to me. Save yourself and find somewhere else to go where you will be respected and treated correctly.

Katie is the cruelest unpredictable person I've ever met. If you are suicidal she will push you over the edge with her attitude,glares and refusal to do your PA's on time. She never ever calls you back if you leave a voice mail and gives a snarky attitude if you bother her. She absolutely despises addicts and treats everybody like a no good junkie. Good luck Dr. Jones but this is what you deserve for hiring and keeping a mentally deranged so called " office manager"

He is arrogant and condescending. He uses medications that turn you into a zombie and tells you to keep using them. I was vulnerable and trusted in him. I no longer trust in him and when I happen to see him in the community, he re-traumatizes me with memories of what he made me go through. Please do not use this doctor! There are many others that are better than he could ever be.

After an extremely horrifying trauma I was sent to this practice by my PCP; i did not find him to be empathetic compassionate or friendly however I continued to go every two weeks in hopes that he could help me; on month 12 I walked in and he had an intern there, I don't know if he was showing off or frustrated with her but he literally raised his voice to me scolded me and told me that I was not getting better and I should be showing more progress , I asked him if he was having a bad day and taking it out on me, I left his office and never returned. Also his staff is not overly kind or friendly and when people are going to this type of place it's clearly because they are in a desperate place in life , I do not recommend this practice or doctor to anyone. I had a good experience with Dr,Jones he listened to what I was saying asked me questions gave me his option and he suggested a few different ways to change my meds i saw him on 6/20/17 and I know for a fact that my pcp got his suggestions on the 21st and it is. Now the 25th of June and my pcp is still dragging his tail long .

Staff is extremely unprofessional and Dr. Jones himself is a coward of a man who himself needs help. I truly believe these higher ratings were posted by staff members.

I am stunned that this doctor would not even consider accepting a patient who is willing to pay cash. My husband suffers from bipolar disorder and regular therapy and medication are essential to his ability to function in every day society. Excellent practice all around, with the latest in treatment options. I can honestly say, Dr. Jones is the best Psychiatrist I've ever had, and Dr. Jones and his staff are all very caring and helpful people. This office offers TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), which most doctors don't offer for their depressed patients. Having this treatment has changed my life 10 fold, for the better.

Dr. Jones himself is a decent doctor however, office staff (office manager actually as it is only one person that is the problem) is ridiculous. Office manager Katie is the most rude, abrasive person to have to deal with. Her "I don't have time for this" attitude make seeing Dr. Jones far less pleasant and I almost dread having to call for anything because I know I will have to deal with her.

The five star reviews on this site are either fabricated by Dr. Jones and his staff or these people are delusional. This is the most uncaring, unprofessional psychiatry office I have EVER encountered. The staff are beyond rude and behave like it's a chore to acknowledge your existence and Dr. Jones is a phony and pretentious man who cares only about getting you in and out in under 3 minutes. I have been seeing Dr Jones for a few years now, and he is awesome, he knows just what meds that will work with you, and he listens to you, really listens, be it about the meds, or what is going on with your life. He is a kind and gentle soul that I wouldn't trade for the world. Even when I am really down, seeing him makes the day a tad bit brighter. I am so lucky to have him as my doctor. Dr jones is one of the best doctors I've ever met. He is compassionate, caring, and very knowledgeable. He is willing to listen and be there for you ANY time you need him. His staff are all caring and compassionate also.

I am 35 yrs old and have been through many doctors to find the one that I felt is compassionate and competent to treat each and every patient as an individual. Dr. Jones is very good at what he does and has always helped me with unbiased and effective treatments and advice. I would recommend Dr. Jones highly and I personally,will never see another phycisan.
