My son Alex was a patient of Dr Pierce. He cares. He listens. Absolutely OUTSTANDING Psychiatrist.

Amazing doctor. Gave me great direction in life, and he never seemed judgmental. I looked forward to our sessions. He completely turned my life around when I was at an all time low. He was super easy to talk to, but unfortunately is leaving North Star. The staff themselves are a bit disorganized when it comes to billing (pretty sure I've been asked to pay bills I've already paid multiple times), but the quality of his work was more than worth the occasional discomfort in dealing with that. I'll miss him, and I would recommend him to anyone struggling with their mental health.

Dr Pierce was excellent but the office staff was unprofessional and hurtful. I would not recommend anyone going here if they are fragile because even the time with the Dr will not make up for how embarrassed the staff makes you feel.

I’ve been with Dr. Pierce for a minute. Even with issues with my insurance, he is one that has never bailed on me. His experience and knowledge is tremendous, he will not steer you in the wrong direction. Work the program he recommendeds! Great guy.

Dr. Pierce is a really great doctor to talk to but he likes to put you on really expensive medications without regard for ability to buy them once the samples run out. Watch the billing, you have to keep them honest (at least that was my experience)

If you were able to get in with Dr. Pierce, consider yourself lucky-you’ve found a gem. Be patient with his treatment recommendations and trust his knowledge and advice. This doctor knows his stuff and has a lot of experience. There are very few like him. He’s also had experience in counseling so you get both that and medication advice which is rare with other psychiatrists. He truly does care about his patients and treats you like an equal and no less. Best doctor Ive had in my life hands down.

Dr. David Pierce is the best psychiatrist I have encountered! (unfortunately I can no longer see him due to insurance) He always made me feel at ease and comfortable, and I never felt rushed at our appointments which I truly appreciated. He seems like he really cares and is passionate about what he does, I truly miss having him as my Psychiatrist.. Hopefully someday I will be able to return to him as a patient.

After many different psychiatrists, I finally found what I was looking for in Dr. Pierce. When I've called his office with concerns, he personally calls me back within a few hours, and has been willing to schedule me at the last minute. He listens and suggests lifestyle (non-medication) adaptations one can make, as well as openly accepting feedback on and adjusting medications. He explains thoroughly without treating you like an idiot. A true pleasure, have recommended to multiple family members

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Pierce. I started seeing him in Dec 2015, and he has completely changed my life. I was given an incorrect diagnosis that every doctor I've seen, for the past 15 years, has just accepted. He took the time to do a thorough intake and gave me a new diagnosis; he changed my medicine, and for the first time in my life, I feel like life is enjoyable. He is an outstanding doctor, who takes the time needed to properly care for his patients!

Dr. Pierce is a very 'down to earth' man. He is very easy to talk, he treats you like an equal and he manages to stay very professional, while at the same time providing a comfort level that allows you to be open and honest with him. I am so thankful to have such a remarkable doctor as part of my support system.

Dr. Pierce is by farthe most illogical, crazy, imaginative, personable,truly caring, most kind, difficult but compassionately so Psychiatrist we ever haad the honor of being patients of in our lives. Note: No offense to any other Dr.s we've worked with at all - he is just a very special guy to us for too many reasons to type. Most all of other Drs. we've ever worked with are all very special in their own special ways - however speaking of the timeframe we were working with Dr. Pierce he just stands out ahead because of it!
